I stayed here for one night as a lay-over, as I had a flight quite early the next morning. A taxi to/from the Manchester Airport to this hotel only cost me £10 each way, and it takes taxis less than 10 minutes to get there. On that front it is ideally located. There is a lounge/bar on the ground floor of the hotel which was very busy but with a pleasant atmosphere. I was on the top-floor of the hotel so I did not experience any noise from the bar or people outside. The staff on reception were incredibly friendly, offered me breakfast in the morning, and arranged for a taxi to be waiting outside for me when I checked-out. My room was large with 1-double bed, a TV, and bathroom with shower. The bed was very comfortable and the entire room was very well kept. Overall I was satisfied.

The only ever-so slight complaint was the wall were not thick enough to drown out people talking loudly in the corridor or room next to me, but those people were never too loud, or loud for long.

The toilet noise when you flushed it😱 shower door seal coming away and bit mouldy. Also vaping smells from downstairs maybe coming in through the window seals!!

Friendly staff and helpful

The taxi fares to and from the terminals. The charges on 2 occasions (4 trips from terminal 1 to the hotel) totaled £48! I consider this daylight robbery and not a good impression of UK prices to visitors. One taxi man explained the situation that a cut goes to the airport, another to the taxi company leaving the taxi driver and rider out of pocket. In fact all the prices at the airport are extreme and not sustainable considering the state of the economy and affordability for travelers. I would recommend a shuttle service for guests at a reduced cost which would in turn attract more guests. Also a note to explain to guests the costs of taxi services.

Free breakfast! Very crowded on the Sunday morning so I was allowed to take a cup of coffee to the room and come back later for breakfast. Also, I had to leave for my flight at 4am in the morning and a take away breakfast table with fruit and croissants, juices and coffee/Tee was prepared in the lobby for everyone who had to leave before the actual breakfast starts!

The hotel is situated ~1mile behind the new T2. While google maps knows the way, I had to find it by trial and error upon arrival since the whole airport area is undergoing reconstruction. After I had found it it was easy and I walked to T2 Sunday afternoon to get some coffee and snacks. There’s no airport shuttle, if you want, reception calls a taxi. I preferred to walk in departure day and did so - 20 min to T2 by foot, boardwalk not too great for pulling a trolley but illuminated throughout and lots of traffic in the area even at 4am.

Duty Manager Henry S was exceptionally friendly and welcoming and so was service Manager Steve. We arrived tired early to the Hotel and Henry checked and said the room was ready and we could go to it. Bliss. We went down to Dinner. It just happened to be our 7th Anniversary and Service Manager Steve noticed the Anniversary card on our table. He asked if we would accept a nice bottle of wine from The Hotel with their Compliments. He spoke to Henry and both came out to wish Us a Happy Anniversary. How wonderful that felt. The courtesy. The smiles. We stay overnight at Hotels as we tend to have early or late flights and can't always pick up or return Hire Cars so the Hotels are a great idea of getting rest before travelling on. We had a very early flight next morning 5.55am so didn't think we would get any breakfast but there it was from 3am. Pastries ,Juice. Coffee Tea. fruit. PERFECT and a PERFECT Service too. How lovely. Well done Henry and Steve. Exceptional.

Buffet breakfast was excellent we all enjoyed it each morning. Walk in shower was great good pressure on the shower head and shampoo and shower gel supplied. We had all we needed tv,hairdryer, iron, tv, kettle with supplied tea & coffee each day. Bed was extremely comfortable staff ever so helpful especially Angie she stood out from the rest. Location was a little far out from the bus train/ station which cost a taxi or a bus to get to and from the train/bus station to where we were going a lot during our stay. In summer this wouldn't be a problem in winter a little as it's a bit of a walk to and from the nearest bus stop. Over all I would recommend this hotel enjoyable stay.

Bedroom, bathroom and breakfast facilities all very good. Staff super friendly. Really nice.

The fact that it is only 1.9 miles from the airport and No shuttle service is available only taxis. What is absurd as it cost £13.20 per taxi or more. That is not a very environmentally friendly economical way to look after guests. The road from the hotel is continually serviced with buses going to the airport and they drive past it all the time. We walked to the hotel. The footpath was partly obstructed by construction work and it forced you to walk along the road for a bit. We met several people in the hotel waiting for a taxi and met them again on the plane. We thought it feels like a stitch up.

I arrived at 6.45 am 11th Jan after a long horrendous flight which was delayed 6 times before finally taking off a day late, I was very tired and rather grubby, I was met by a lovely receptionist called Lyndsey, she went over and above to help me, she allowed a late check out to 2pm, suggesting I go to my room and come down for breakfast at 7 am then get some sleep before leaving, which I did, I slept for 5 hrs, had a lovely hot shower and checked out, I was greeted by Steven who again was wonderful, I ordered a coffee and he bought me a hot croissant before getting me a taxi, I would like to say both were exceptional in there customer care, they'll never know how much I appreciated their care.

Great rooms and very comfortable. The Bar area was also great when some space was available a little later. The staff were really friendly and helpful thank you. I'd be more than happy to stay there again.

The restaurant closed too early (9pm) We arrived shortly before then as we got there later for a morning flight. The only option to eat anything was via Uber (too expensive). We also weren't allowed to stay in there for a drink either as they were closing.to prepare for the following days breakfast seating already. The bar area at that time was full but there was room around 10pm. Other than these niggles, the hotel was fine. A little expensive but expected as it is an airport hotel so no problem

Breakfast was really good apart from the scrambled egg. Staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well serviced with beverages. Having stayed here before, it was as good as I expected. The dinner menu was all it needed to be for me with plenty of options - the chicken makhani and naan bread was as good as anywhere else. The bar facilities looked good although I did not use them.

Nothing really, as I had been here before and knew what to expect. The only downside would be the parking charge which was not mentioned on booking.com and came as a bit of a surprise considering I was not charged on my previous visit for some inexplicable reason which baffled the staff.
