The hotel is darling and decorated in a charming manner. Each room is appointed with a kettle and basic drink supplies. The bathrooms are good and have a generous offering of towels. The breakfast was one of the highlights of our stay, the staff was very pleasant. The food was excellent and they had a neat machine to make specialty coffees. Definitely worth getting the rate that includes breakfast.

The biggest drawback, despite everything else being lovely was the bed. Ours was hard as a rock with hard pillows. We stayed a week and I didn’t get a single solid nights sleep because the bed caused serious back pain. It would behoove the hotel to invest in some updated mattresses and pillows.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. It was easy to reach the city center by walking about 10 minutes to the metro stop, crossing through the park. There are grocery stores, pubs, a park, and restaurants nearby. The area is not very busy, which is great as it means there isn’t much noise on the streets. I loved that there were tea, instant coffee and biscuits in the room. In general the room was very cozy.

Honestly, nothing to complain about. The building and rooms are somewhat old, but that’s expected in a historic city like Glasgow. Nonetheless, the whole building is very charming. I booked the budget room, so I was aware the bathroom would be small.

the location of hotel is close to where we had our night out. decor is nice all different tartans. room clean and tidy. staff we seen polite and hard working. key pass to enter into lift area.

The room was small (not too small) but had a sloping roof making it appear smaller than it was. shower water is really hot took a while to get to temperature that wouldn't scald me (or too cold). breakfast did have options and I was able to get something to eat (limited choice for me at hot buffet) however food was slowly replenished but items ibwould have selected hadn't been replenished during our sitting for breakfast. We choose 9.30 to have our meal. also bedding seemed to be on short side for me and I was slightly cold through night (partner was fine didn't feel the chill like me) window is a skylight so not much natural light comes into room.

This was an amazing find. We thought we would book a last minute break ,we had a look on Booking.com. As we stay in Glasgow we thought ,let do local and go to The Westend , go to some during the week Quizzes, due to always working, thought this would be a great idea. Which it was. The Hotel staff were all so lovely, very polite and courteous, nothing was a problem. Room was beautiful, spotless, and had a great shower, a four poster bed ,we also had USB sockets in the lamp and on the walls. Furniture was lovely too, just a genuinely lovely wee room for the price we paid. Breakfast was amazing, just everything you would want, cereal, yogurt, toast and all fry up items. The breakfast staff would come around to ask if anyone wanted coffee refils Tea drinkers were given a pot of tea. Checkout was 11am which was ample time too so we weren't rushed. We asked for a taxi in which we were shown to a button on the wall which was a direct line to the taxi firm. Absolutely lovely wee stay ,this hotel also includes a lift which was a great benefit to myself. Will definitely go back.

Couldn't fault, one thing although definitely not a criticism as I feel you get this in most hotels ,only one chair in the room. My husband went down to ask for another chair and received one with absolutely no problem so thank you again. Great place.

The three bed room we had was very dated with an old carpet which didn’t look too good on the floor and the padded headboards above the beds looked old and worn. Apart from that little issue, the room was fine with a lovely modern bathroom and shower and lovely towels to use. The room was warm and cosy. Plenty of tea bags etc to make a hot drink. The beds were very comfortable and we all had a good sleep. The breakfast was amazing and plentiful and the staff there are very helpful and friendly. The dining room is modern and is lovely and spotlessly clean. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly too. There is a lift to take you to the floor you need. We walked down the stairs to go for breakfast and the lower floors looked really good with nice Scottish touches in the hallways.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.

Staff at Breakfast were fantastic. Really friendly and professional. Hotel in general is value for money.

Checking in was a disaster! If £100 is needed as a deposit, the hotel would need to mention this in the confirmation e mail. I paid through Booking.com and receptionist kept saying that i am not their customer, even after I checked in! Does not give a female traveling on her own much confidence in her safety. Morning receptionist was the opposite, very friendly and professional. Checked the room and sent me an e mail confirming no extra charges will be needed. Really appreciated this.

The breakfast staff in this hotel are so welcoming with an exceptional hospitality that we never saw before. A special thanks to the lady in the restaurant she is sooo nice and kind 😁

The lady in the reception was rude, however the gentleman that came at 3 pm was kind and nice. If you need an early check in better to email them in advance otherwise you will have to wait till clock hits 3 pm 🥲

We stayed on a room only basis. The hotel was easy to find, just 10 minutes walk from Exhibition Centre station. The room and the hotel generally was warm, welcoming, clean and comfortable. It's location was excellent within easy walking distance of bars and restaurants in Finnieston, Kelvingrove Art Gallery and park and the University. We also walked into the city centre in under 30 minutes, although there are several buses too. Given it's location, the hotel was remarkably quiet with little or no street noise.

There was nothing in particular that I would comment on negatively

The location is superb if you are visiting someone at the Uni or going to the Kelvingrove museum. Loads of eateries around there. The price was amazing £51 for single room including breakfast. The staff were also really really nice and helpful. A real asset! Bed was comfy and I had a great night’s sleep.

The lighting in the room. There was a reading light above the bed which was very bright and a very dingy bulb in the main lamp in the room. A little table lamp would have made it feel a bit more cosy.

All the staff were pleasant and accommodating! The room was warm and cozy for this time of the year. I was happy my decor was 💙 Blue! Our event went extremely well in the accommodating rooms! I had a pleasant night's 💤 sleep and a varied choice of breakfast with helpful staff on hand in the a.m. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, and would definitely stay here again in the future! My travel was not too far by cab and the fare to/from Glasgow Central train station came to around £10 one way!

There was nothing Not to Like!
