The value for money at Amerta was sensational and the location was fantastic. Located a short stroll from the main street of Seminyak one way and Kimm Soo and Mexicola the other way. Across the road from The Seminyak which was great as we enjoyed dinner there with a Bali Dance on the Wednesday night and we also indulged in a High Tea one afternoon and watched the sunset over the beach. The staff were so friendly and the breakfast on the rooftop, while simple it was a nice surprise with the view over the rooftops and cooked fresh as ordered. The pool was lovely to enjoy although in the heat of the day it is a little too warm, however it cools down as the day cools down and is somewhat refreshing at night. The room was large, bathroom simple but clean and we were very very happy there. I would definitely stay there again.

Nothing not to like.

We arrived at 1am in the morning after having a long delay going through immigration. It was so nice to be welcomed by a staff member who showed us to our lovely room. All facilities were excellent but what made it for us was the beautifully prepared breakfast provided by Ratti and her team which was served up in the open courtyard. All staff were friendly and helpful, especially Barack Obama (not real name) who was able to answer any questions we had. Didn't end up using taxi's as everything within walking distance i.e. trustworthy money lender out the front, excellent cooking class at Warung Nia. Great beach vibes at Ku de ta a short walk away and also had a great meal at Warung Bernadette. All shopping requirements were within an easy walk to Seminyak village and also the flea market was nearby if you wish to do some bargaining. All in all excellent value for money and a great location. Would definitely stay again.

Being new to Bali and Seminyak being a tourist hotspot we had to quickly learn local phrases to deal with many people touting for business. Once we got used to this it was fine.

The property is wayy bigger than what the picture shows. It's honestly so well maintained, safe, gorgeous space and its so safe!! There were staff to make breakfast for us as well as security for night time. Super happy and impressed with my stay!

Location was right around the corner from the flea markets and Seminyak Square and only a short walk up the road to delicious popular food places like Ku De Ta, sea circus, motel Mexicola and Biku. It was in a quiet location but still close to so much stuff. Comfortable bed, Clean room, Lovely staff and the breakfast included had 4 different options. We only stayed for 1 night on arrival before heading to Nusa Dua but would have happily stayed here for many more nights.

Our driver found it hard to find and we drove past it as the sign is very small but it’s right behind the money exchange (which is handy to have out the front) The aircon in our room was dripping water, didn’t bother us as we were happy to just turn it off

This is my second time at the Amerta - it's a lovely little hotel in a good location (close to the beach and Seminyak Square). The room is lovely and the little sofa outside is a great place to sit and relax out of the sun. The staff are all really lovely too. If I'm back in Seminyak again, I would absolutely stay here.

The room was fairly spacious, as was the bathroom (shower type). The airconditioning was good. The wifi was strong. High standard of cleanliness. Lighting at night was good. Bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly though I didn't need to ask for anything. Water pressure in the bathroom was strong, drainage was generally OK with small signs of future trouble. Needs attention now before it gets worse. The hotel is set back from the street, so you have to look carefully for its signboard on your first arrival. It has a small pool which was clean, but I used only once for a short while. Personally, I found the location to be alright, but it is worth noting that although the hotel is only a short distance from the beach (seen from a map), there is no access because the hotel in front is blocking both access to the beach and views of the sea. However, it is possible to walk to another part of the beach via Ku De Ta club, only 300 metres away.

A big issue for me because I wanted to do some work in the daytime was that there was no desk. Since there is plenty of space in the room to add a desk, please do so. Minor issues: Breakfast selection has about five or six menus: Indonesian noodle, Indonesian fried rice.... gave me food poisoning the first morning. Western selections quite basic, but enough to start the day. Would have liked to see more electrical power points in the room. At present, power points are enough for one person's equipment (after unplugging a bedside lamp), but may not be enough for two persons'.

Breakfast was more a snack so not too much.

Hotel is nice and clean. It is a small boutique hotel with 12 rooms only. Friendly staff. Tasty breakfast which you order and then they will cook it for you. A choice of Continental, American or Local. Location is good, 5mins walk to the beach, about 10mins walk to Seminyak Square and next to it is Seminyak Village. Close to restaurants, pubs and cafe. There is a massage place outside the hotel on the left don't go unless you love to be stroke, go to the one on the right side as you exit from the hotel.

There is nothing that I don't like. For those who swim the swimming pool is small and more like a dipping pool.

The location was great, walking distance to the beach and convenience store. The staff were super friendly. There is a table and sofa outside the room so you can hang out, eat, drink outside and get fresh air. The breakfast was adequate and delicious. They cook it fresh as you order. The pool is available until 10pm and is good sized for a leisure swim. They clean your room everyday and provide water bottles, clean towels and tissues. The hotel is near a spa, money exchange, tattoo shop and coffee shop, just right outside. The beds were super comfortable and clean.

They did not provide coffee in the room, but you can ask for a kettle and cups and they will provide. There is no room service and the reception is not 24 hrs. The room is not sound proofed and you can hear the noise of the other rooms.

Amerta is in a great location, towards the top end of Seminyak. Close enough to Seminyak Village, restaurants, bars & shops and a short walk through a laneway to the beach. Staff were super friendly & helpful, breakfast on the rooftop was lovely and the room & shared pool clean.

We were on the top floor, directly below the breakfast kitchen. Unfortunately we were woken early every morning, with staff banging away in the kitchen, preparing breakfast. None of our family members travelling with us, in other rooms, had this issue. The pool & day beds were clean, but shaded for most of the day.
