Staff here are all excellent. Nothing is too much trouble. Wonderful location central to what we needed for LFC on foot. Great atmosphere being in the area. Everything positioned well nearby. We picked a super weather weekend which helped. :0)

Just an obvious observation for staying at the hotel that we were fully aware of and did not bother us, but there is a function room at the rear that can be extremely loud into the night. But aside from that it ended promptly at midnight after fireworks. However the bigger issue was that due to the function booking the limited carparking to the front was full all that night and we couldn't find parking anywhere near as the surrounding area is ALL resident permit parking only.

Very well located for Anfield. Easy to find and easy to park. Staff all very helpful and friendly. Good shower and the room was well facilitated with tea and coffee equipment, iron, TV etc. The hotel offers a discounted tour of Anfield, we had already booked ours but I would highly recommend this, whoever you book with.

The hotel no longer offers breakfast as stated on the booking website. This was no problem as it was easy enough to stock up on breakfast bars etc at the local shop, but it would have been helpful to know in advance.

The stay was great , very comfortable and clean and the room was a decent size for the 4 of us with 2 double beds .... a bus ride from the town centre and a 5 min walk to liverpool FC .... The room was absolutely great for value and the staff were friendly and polite I would stay there again x

Toilet seat was broken and the matt paint could do with touching up in places but apart from that didn't have any problems at all with anything... I only listed these things as the review question asked .

Great Location as it was just around the corner from the stadium so not far to walk for the stadium tour. The morning and night staff are really friendly and helpful with regards to answer question about places to eat and so on

We stayed in Suit 4 so if your a Liverpool Fan the view wasn’t great as it look over Stanley park and all you could see was a stadium that a team championship team play in called Everton I think lol also the emergency exit green light about the door inside the room was to bright and no plug in the sink so if you wanted a wash don’t expect to be able to fill the sink up good job we had a shower

The room was nice and there was parking available, just not a lot. The bed and bed covers were nice and for a one night stay it was good. If we had booked more in advance, the price would have been better value but we were let down last minute by a BnB so tried to find the best in the area and it was good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Easy check out.

Unfortunately a few things were broken in the room. The toilet roll holder wasn't stable and the fan worked but wasn't very stable and was stained at the base. None of this was an issue to us so we didn't report it, but in the spirit of an honest review, I thought I should mention it.

From the moment we arrived from Dublin, staff was welcoming and friendly. I didn't catch the lady's name when we first arrived but she let us check in early and was lovely. After our Anfield Stadium Tour we came back to the hotel, which is literally a minute walk up the street from the hotel, and ordered food. I only had cash, and nothing on my card so the next lady that was working (MIA) offered to order for me, and use her card to pay and I'd give her the cash. So friendly, chatty and helpful, thank you Mia. Hotel was spotless. Rooms had everything we needed from shower, hairdryer, iron, a TV with Netflix etc to watch movies at the end of the day, and even stuff to make tea or coffee with. The bar downstairs is beautiful, along with the outdoor area. Looking forward to coming back for a match day in Liverpool.

Perfect location for the Liverpool match. Excellent atmosphere before and afterwards. Car parking available, they let me park in the morning until I could check in at 2pm. Staff were amazing, very helpful and friendly. Definitely booking again for a home match at Anfield.

There was nothing I didn't like. I could be fussy and ask for milk in the room or offer a breakfast but for the amount I paid it was spot on.

Location is fantastic for the football - both stadiums until next year at least. Right on the doorstep and at a very reasonable price. We were up to watch Everton get battered and they were. Guy that let us in on arrival very friendly too.

It was clean enough to be passable but it could do with a deep clean in places. Also, the room was lit up at night by a green glow coming from the door (indicating the way out in case of fire?) which meant I had to sleep with the spare pillow strategically positioned over my head.

This is a nice, clean, small hotel near the Liverpool and Everton football grounds. Great value for the money. Easily walkable to either stadium. It is a converted Victorian building with 2 lounges, a small bar, and several sleeping rooms upstairs. The rooms have been remodeled. Although there is no sitting area in the sleeping rooms, the two lounges are open and quiet, and I took my laptop down there to do a little work. The bar is not open to the public, only to guests, so it is quiet. They have no restaurant, but they have a box breakfast available. A better option is to walk a short way to Georgie Porgie's cafe, across from Anfield Stadium. They have a great Full English for 8 pounds, with coffee or tea.

I didn't care much for the shower, but then, I didn't care much for any of the showers in England. Hard to operate, low water pressure, and not very hot.

Location and price were perfect. Staff made you feel welcome. Checking in was hassle free. Bar decorations memorabilias were more than exceptional. For a none scouser Liverpool fan, 23 Hotel Anfield is the perfect place.

The second bed wasn't great. the bathroom had a slight chill. I just couldn't get the wall heater to come on, but for price, I wouldn't complain.
