From the reviews I was expecting a run down hotel so I was quite surprised when I arrived and instantly loved it. It has so much character and charm, like stepping back in time! The reception staff were lovely, I was in room 11 and it was lovely, solid wood wardrobe and bedside tables. Bed was so comfy, TV worked great, bathroom was spacious I had a lovely sleep. Breakfast was continental and very nice with toast and pastries etc, plenty of flavoured teas. Check out was easy, I shall definitely be coming again. I have stayed in places that cost more than this that had shared facilities so I cannot understand why people are complaining.

The apartment was very large and the staff was very friendly, the breakfast was also good and I really liked that I could easily get to a bus stop.

Water pressure and the shower could've been better, the air in the room was also pretty dry as the heating was on a lot. I would also like to have been able to watch football one evening in the bar or lounge but the staff wasn't able to help with that. It was the day before Easter so I understand that this is a minor thing. I just thought about mentioning everything I noticed to help make things even better. I was generally very happy with the hotel, it is great value for the money.

Great welcome on arrival, and agreed an early check in as we were attending a match at Anfield which kicked off 4.30pm, which was most appreciated. Had a twin room as was sharing with a mate, so the price was very good as it is away from city centre. McDonald's over the road for emergency food, and Akshaya, a fantastic Indian restaurant, is round the corner meant food was no problem on the way back after late drinks. We walked to the stadium via a few pubs, all very welcoming to away fans. The hotel price includes a very good cold breakfast so you really would be struggling to find a better value stay. Not a new building so of course there are signs of age, but it is very comfortable. This was my second stay here personally, and I think it is perfect for my needs, so will be back whether for future games at Anfield or Goodison with mates, or if I take the wife for a weekend in Liverpool, sightseeing sans football!

Has a large car park, but we couldn't get a space, so parked in road outside with no problem, but car park layout could be better to accommodate more cars. Upgrade to a full English breakfast option would be great, but not a deal breaker!

Location ok, easy to find, well connected by bus with train station, city center or Anfield Road. Nice staff, pretty clean, small but cozy room, small but comfortable single beds. Breakfast was good.

Check-in starts at 4pm so everybody comes at the same time. We had to wait in line about half an hour. Breakfast ends very early, before 9am. There is a 50£ fee you have to pay, it's been 2 weeks and I still haven't got my money back yet. All electrical sockets in the room have the british model, you will have to buy an adapter from reception (5£ if I remember correctly).

The location was good, staff were good. Trisha at reception was superb. I like the hotel is family owned and not owned by a corporate company. Rather pay a bit more for family run business. There is options for flats with small kitchens and not just hotel rooms. The family has kept some of the old features of building too. Any issues were seen to quickly.

The breakfast was mostly really cold and in a cold room. Eating cold food in a cold room with jackets on isn't fun and the layout was a bit weird but not bad. I would skip breakfast next time.

Lovely staff, fantastic communication before the arrival and good value for money as we managed to book it as our cheapest option among other pricey hotels in peak season! The interior and amenities are bit old and you can see that but it has its charm. Nice and simple breakfast you can get in the morning before carrying on with your day is always a plus. Obviously, it's not located in the city centre, locals live around and there's a rubbish on the street every now an then but that's how it usually is in that neighborhood and quick Uber or bus drive can take you to the centre!

The staff were aaamazing, and went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect during the stay. They even prepared a to-go breakfast as I left before the opening time. The hotel looks classic and exceptionally well-kept to its original style. For example, the TVs in the room are smart, so you get to use any streaming service while in a very classic-looking room.

It's a bit far from the city centre, but there are two very convenient bus stops to move around. The window was kept open with a solid plastic sheet, instead of the original wooden breaks that come with the frame.

This hotel was quaint and charming, with easy access to public transport into the city center

The older nature of the accommodations definitely created a couple quirks that were different than a typical hotel, but they were easy enough to get used to

Excellent Hotel! Really enjoyed staying here, rooms and beds were very comfortable and will defiantly be staying here again. Staff were very friendly and helpful to assist me with everything that I needed. Not far from City Centre and easy transport to get around the city. Not far from Anfield and Goodison

Nothing! Everything was very nice at the property. I will defiantly stay here again when visiting liverpool. The hotel was very clean and also had a decent sized car park in the front of the building.

I was booking on something of a budget so I picked somewhere not too central on purpose. The hotel can order a taxi for you at the push of a button and it usually only takes 5 or 10 minutes to arrive. When we used those taxi's they were cash only, just FYI. The general cost to get to the entre/Seel St etc was around £8-£12 depending on exact drop off. The hotel itself is lovely, the bar was nice to sit in while we waited for a taxi. The room was good enough for what we needed, not particularly big but had all facilities we wanted for a short break away. If I needed somewhere to stay in Liverpool again I would probably check out Beech Mount; if the price was still reasonable then I would go back.

The only issue we had was the key cards to access the reception building, room building and room itself stopped working twice. We had to go back to reception, which luckily was still open, to tell them we couldn't get in. I had only been checked in about 2 hours the first time it happened. They can quickly fix the cards but it's not ideal. The first one let us in the main building but not the room, the second time we couldn't get into the main building.
