Good size and nicely decorated room. Location was great. Very close to main attractions. Hotel doesn't have their own parking but have pre-arranged deal with the place near by (5min walk) - Hotel helped reserving the spot, that was very nice!
breakfast was kind of so so, I didn't see options to get eggs and/or omelette or anything hot. Maybe I could have asked the waiter, but I didn't have time for that. The check-in was actually disappointing, Receptionist was insisting on seeing passports of everyone in our party (family of 4) and entering that information into her system. It felt like it was taking forever. No other place we stayed, asked us for that (1 passport was enough). I'm glad there were no other people in line waiting, otherwise it would have added another ~15+ minutes. Also, digital key is great idea... but if you have spotty reception and waiting forever for page to open, the good old keycard may not be so bad

Location is perfect
Parking is awkward to find and a fair distance from the hotel

The location of the hotel is excellent, right in the middle of the city centre. We really enjoyed the large desk to work on, and the beds are super comfortable. The staff were helpful and friendly.
Some practical things could be better. There is a window between the bathroom and the bedroom, which is not great if you have to go to the toilet and share the room, or if you need to put the light on at night, as you will wake up the other person. As there is no door to the shower and no ventilation, the bathroom fills with humidity very quickly, and you can't use the mirror anymore. Although, overall the room is very comfortable.

Room and bathroom were modern, looked like recently refurbished. Nespresso coffee machine and kettle in the room; windows had good noise protection; location just at the edge of the inner city centre, very close to the cathedral and the dome tower.
Bed was a bit too soft; process to get access to the room via email (and smartphone) was a bit cumbersome; luckily they could provide a classical plastic card, too; breakfast was average; a bit pricy overall; bells of the dome tower are striking all night long (but no problems when closing the window).

Great location! Lovely part of town quiet street very close to all the "action" - shops, nightlife, restaurants etc and also very close to train ststion. Helpful staff. nice restaurant. Unique ambiance - located in former courthouse. i loved the decor and photos on the wall.
No hairdryer or iron in room . perhaps available if i had asked. No phone in room to call front desk. I would have appreciated some lit in the room with info about the hotel rather than just a QR code on the back of the room key envelope.

The room was in a lovely location and utrecht is stunning. It's a unique space and was worth us booking this instead of main hotel. The breakfast is nice but the scrambled eggs I had in first day were cold. Nice selection of breakfast and the waffle and coffee were excellent along with fresh fruits and cheeses etc so it made up for my cold eggs. Bike hire was great and very reasonable. A lovely Nye gift on arrival. Nice size bed. Quiet location and good shower.
The room was a nice size, very warm and cozy, on the canal down steep stairs but unfortunately not particularly very well cleaned and an absolute nightmare to get in and out the door as it kept getting stuck due to wet weather I assume. Could do with a handle on back of door so you can yank it open. No instructions on coffee machine, one pillow each. It was a little walk away from main hotel, no problem for us but when we were asked everyday for our room number and we told them they didn't seem to know where it was.

I loved being by the canal even though I didn’t realise that I had booked this room! So a nice surprise. The room was clean and the bed really comfortable. good facilities and surprisingly good shower. Staff were extremely nice. I opted for no room cleaning service throughout my stay, so the hotel chain could plant trees instead.
The weekend was busy and noisy above and by me. The rooms are not very sound proof to cars driving over regularly or peoples voices. Having said that, I did get used to it. The room is a small road away from the main hotel, so for breakfast it would have been necessary to get out to there.More hotels should offer this!

We LOVED the CANAL Room! Now we had no idea we booked this room as booking.com didnt say it was a "Canal" room, but we arrived and they said you are staying at the canal! For others I can see this being a problem. You have to carry your luggage down the street, down steep stairs to get into the Canal room. But, man were they SO cute! We really loved it. Felt like you were in a hobbit house, very "Netherlandsy". But, you definitely need to feel adventurous and not too picky. They also have cute chairs where you can sit outside by the canal and watch Kayakers pass. It was so adorable, something very memorable.
The Canal rooms didn't have Wifi working. For some, this could have been a major problem, for us it wasn't. Also, the hotel should really communicate to guests "before" they arrive that they are getting the "canal" room. If you have a disability or an injury, you will be unable to get to/from that room. This could be a major issue for people. For others, like us, it's a selling point! They just need better communication to those assigned to those rooms.

It was a super unique room (canal room) with plenty of character that matched the location which is what I was after. Very spacious, comfortable, clean and modern. I loved the little living room area and the whole layout and design. It was pretty quiet and peaceful to stay in which is also what I was after.
I don't know if any more could be done about it, but due to the nature of the room it lacks ventilation and air flow even with both of the little fan units on. It was fine during the day but a bit too stuffy for me to sleep soundly. Also, there were quite a lot of bugs in the room and when people in the rooms beside smoked it came in through the door and filled the whole room even with everything shut including the curtain on the door. These things didn't ruin my stay at all, I still really enjoyed staying there, but they were a part of the experience I thought I'd be honest and share!

The property is located in central Utrecht close to the city cathedral. Pretty much everything you want from a city like Utrecht is within walking distance. The building itself is an old courthouse that has been renovated and turned into an hotel.
The only downside for my part is that I am sensitive to sounds when I sleep, and there are people going to and from bars outside. Thus I had a bit of trouble sleeping one night
