Loved this place! Quick 10/15 minute drive to Stonehenge. The place was very comfortable and inviting. The first floor is a pub/restaurant, second floor has the rooms. Our room had a full kitchen with a small fold-out sofa bed. The bedroom had two beds, very comfortable and quiet. We had no issues at night with noise. My husband and I went downstairs for dinner. Food and drinks were great, we were even able to order some and take some upstairs for the kids & grandma. Kids stayed back with grandma and watched Netflix(included). The bathroom had great shower pressure. We had a great time speaking with a few of the employees while at dinner. Lots of locals, just loved the atmosphere. Honestly amazing staff. Breakfast was delicious! They had a small buffet selection of yogurt, cereal, juice, breads and some fruit and hot breakfast was included as well. We will be staying here again the next time we go to visit.
Nothing!! Everything was amazing, above and beyond!

This Inn is located at 10 minutes ride from Stonehenge and it’s a really good option to stay if you’re visiting this historic site. Staff is amazing and polite, and breakfast is rich and delicious. The room was pretty spacious and beds were comfortable. The dinner was ok with various options (chicken burger was delicious, however vegan sausage pie was oversalted) and took some longer time for us, as we were waiting for food for about an hour.
Even though located pretty close to Stonehenge, the location is a bit disappointing: the property located at the speedy county road (speed limit is 50mph), and it’s pretty noisy if you have to sleep with open windows when it’s hot. Cleaning could be better: found a body of giant house spider under the couch pillow, someone else’s boogers on the bath wall, some pieces of rubbish in drawers. The room has a bit of wear, especially in the bathroom, where boards attached to the bathroom crumble.

Lovely room. Comfy beds. Nice coffee/cookies
Room with sofa bed was in a kitchen?? I assume it has a kitchen for longer staying guests although all the cupboards where empty. Fridge was noisy when trying to sleep. Very hot in room and didn't realise when I booked it was on a main road so cars going past fast during night. Ear plugs are given in room. No pastries or toast at breakfast either. 12% tip added to food bill is disgusting. £78 for 3 chicken burgers and 3 drinks!!

The hosting and atmosphere was fantastic. A great vibe in the pub and very friendly. Couldn’t do enough for you. We really enjoyed our stay because of the friendly staff and it was so nice to relax with great food, a few drinks & then just had to head upstairs to bed! The room was very cosy and had everything you needed. Shower and bath was great it was definitely worth having the King room with the free standing bath. Close by to most of the things to do in the area too!

Amazing friendly and welcoming pub, staff were so helpful from start to finish. In particular Kayleigh who looked after us she showed us to our room, mixed the perfect dark and stormy drink for me, helped us choose from the dinner menu as we couldn't decide as it was all fab. She was so attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Everything was outstanding. The room, the friendly service, the drinks, the dinner and the breakfast a great choice all freshly cooked 10/10 from us we will be back.
Couldn't stay longer and enjoy a Sunday Lunch

We ate great meals, all three in fact - Breakfast, lunch and dinner, and enjoyed them all. I mean, you have to give 5 stars to a restaurant that makes chocolate pizza out of a Double Decker! The staff ranged from those who really believe in their jobs to some who are somewhat more laid back, but they made us laugh so....
Everything in their control was great, the fast cars shooting down the road in the night were turbo charged and noisy.

Great little hotel with amazing, friendly staff. The rooms are quite large and comfy. We were welcomed with cookies and there was tea and coffee in the room. The shower and bath were so nice, quite modern and super clean. We checked in after exploring the little towns around Stonehenge and decided to stay in for dinner. We were silly and didn’t make a reservation, but they were kind enough to accommodate us. Make sure to book your table! We all had delicious pizzas, sides and wine, the most perfect ending to a day of exploring and getting lots of steps in! We were served by the most loveliest staff. Lisa, Amy and - apologies as I didn’t ask for her name- a dark haired lady were always professional, fun and friendly. Lisa took the time to explain to us how to get to Stonehenge easily. We only stayed for one night and left early to walk to Stonehenge, but took advantage of the breakfast and it was absolutely gorgeous. So many delicious options! What a great hotel! Very impressed with the facilities, staff and great food. If you had any doubts about booking, this is your sign to go ahead and confirm it. It will exceed your expectations as it did mine!
The room was quite warm, but they do have a fan available and that does the trick. I guess it must be lovely during winter as it it’s quite cozy.

What a friendly welcome - outstanding. My partner who was travelling with me, developed COVID and did not come, however, as a lone female traveller, I was made to feel very welcome and comfortable. The food was amazing, the atmosphere is lovely and 10/10 for cleanliness and hospitality. As a professional photographer travelling for an event, the local knowledge was invaluable so thank you!
The emergency light in the main bedroom, though necessary was a bit bright being green on all night.

Overall a very nice village pub/Hotel. My (relatively minor) complaints are all extremely specific and probably will not affect most, or are easy to rectify, so will not impact the overall rating much.
Some of the staff had a bit of an off day, it seemed - probably because it was quite busy. Not to the point of being unfriendly, far from it, but noticable compared to the welcome you get in other such establishments. The beds are EXTREMELY soft - some will like it, but for me these were not comfortable. Our room fronted right onto the road - which made it quite noisy (bikes, trucks etc.). Pizza for dinner was excellently made, lovely soft dough - but the knife I got could not cope with it at all, leading to an epic struggle (and half the pizza being cold before I got to it...).

Amazing little gem hidden away in Wiltshire. It's been over 6 years since my last visit but there has been a major transformation to this place. On arrival, we were greeted by a cheery, super-friendly manager, Lisa. She showed us the room which had a homely feel and after dropping off our bags, we checked into the restaurant (that we pre-booked and highly recommend that you pre-book). Food was delightful with a laidback, friendly atmosphere despite being a busy Friday evening. Bed was super comfy and we woke up feeling refreshed. Heading down for a heartwarming breakfast made a lovely start to the day. We would have loved to stay for longer but unfortunately had to depart for our onward journey.
Minor note that the noise from the restaurant does seep into the rooms but earplugs are provided to counteract this.
