Modern spacious open plan room that was extremely clean and had a large comfortable bed. We stayed as a group and had 3 deluxe rooms which were all slightly different in lay out but all of them had tea /coffee facilities ,a mini bar and a small balcony. The bathroom had a walk in shower and separate toilet and was well stocked with toiletries.The hotel is centrally located in a quiet square a short walk from the beach and the castle . There is a small supermarket 20 yds from the hotel in case you need any provisions . Plenty of restaurants and shops near by too. Breakfast was a hot and cold buffet with a great selection of cereals, fruit , cold meats and cheeses , fruit juices , pastries , cakes ,bread ,bacon eggs and sausages . Staff were all wonderful ,really friendly and welcoming . We had an early check out on our last day before breakfast commenced so the receptionist arranged for a picnic /take away breakfast for us all which was a nice touch .

first of all the square the hotel is based in is absolutely stunning. the room was comfortable and large. excellent facilities, the bathroom was lovely, all new! we did have a problem with the loo (didn’t stop flushing) but it was repaired immediately. a very relaxed atmosphere in the hotel with lots of space to lounge. and breakfast was generous, with sandwich options so was able to make lunch! the gym was very well equipped too. we asked for an iron, and shaving kit, all provided free of charge.

some slight noises from outside partying in the back room we were in. they weren’t too distracting, and we were fine going to sleep with ear plugs. I’m also aware that we stayed in the off season, so partying probably wasn’t so bad. but this might be different in the summer months

Very comfortable bed, very clean, great black out curtains, windows didn't let much noise in, reasonably priced mini bar, nice to chill in the room with the balcony doors wude open. Had a great comfortable stay here. the roof terrace bar is super convenient and has a great view, great place to finish the evening.

I recently stayed in the Junior Suite at Eurostars Pórtico Alicante and was thoroughly impressed. The room was incredibly spacious, filled with natural light, and offered a stunning view of Santa Bárbara Castle. The hotel's interior showcases beautifully maintained natural stone walls and a charming staircase, preserving the building's original architectural features and adding to its elegant ambience. The location is excellent, situated in the heart of Alicante, close to the town hall and just a short walk from El Postiguet beach. A huge commendation to the cleaning staff – the suite was spotlessly clean and impeccably maintained throughout my stay, reflecting their dedication and attention to detail. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Alicante for its excellent service, comfort, and unbeatable views.

Excellent location, close to city center and main attractions, and also to public transports, supermarkets, beach and bars. Room was super clean, comfortable and with lots of space. Staff at the reception was friendly and kind.

Room had a weird smell all the time. After some time you got used to it but it never went away. Staff at the restaurant didn’t speak english fluently and some of them weren’t very friendly, but seemed annoyed when you asked questions and were never smiling. I think these things could be improved, given it’s a 5 stars hotel and considering the price they charge.

Excellent hotel in the very center of the city. Quite well-kept, clean. Excellent soundproofing of the rooms. The rooms are comfortable, everything is in place, practical. There is a terrace-bar on the roof with a view of the city. Good breakfasts.

I paid for a room with a view of the city. Below the hotel is the Town Hall Square of Alicante. The square is beautiful, ancient, and often hosts various city events. In our case, the Christmas installation of figures. I repeat that the rooms are well soundproofed, so noise is not a problem. But my room was on the edge and in fact I saw the house opposite and only a little of the square. I'm not sure I should have overpaid for such a view. The hotel does not have its own parking. The old center is very densely built up. But there are city parking lots nearby. You will always find a place to leave your car, just think in advance about what to do with your luggage. You will have to walk at least half a kilometer from the parking lot.

Eurostars Pórtico Alicante is perfectly located in the heart of Alicante, next to the Ayuntamento of Alicante-City Hall and just in-front of the vast plaza. It is walking distance from the train station(20mins), port area(5 mins)and the sea beach(10mims). We walked to the hotel which was a 20 mins walk from the train station through narrow and charming streets, clicking numerous pictures on our way. One can also take a bus or a cab. Alicante is truly a beautiful beach city with a labyrinth of picturesque narrow streets, full of restaurants, bars and cafeterias where one would like to get lost in over and over again. We didn't opt for breakfast at the hotel since we wanted to try the numerous cafeterias around. It was our 3rd visit to Alicante, a short one and we stayed there for a day (we had identified the location to stay at this area during our second visit since our hotel during the 2nd visit was far, and we were not disappointed at all). The staff is excellent, they speak English and are very helpful with information about what we can do and see. We were visiting Alicante during the Easter time and the staff gave us the timings of the parade and also when the shops might be closed for the Easter. Our room overlooking the plaza and with a little view of the sea was big, well lit and comfortable. Would recommend free walking tours which start just 3-4 mins away from the ice cream parlour- Peret on the main promenade on the main road.

Overall a great stay. Beds were very comfortable. The Bathroom had a towel warmer which was a bonus. They provided robes and slippers also provided. The hotel staff was very accommodating. We requested 4 extra pillows and they delivered right away to our room. In addition we requested an iron, however they provided us with a steamer instead which was the best I have ever used. Upon checking out we needed a taxi to take us to the airport. The front desk promptly got on the phone and the taxi arrived in 5 minutes.

The shower overflowed to the floor outside the shower. We did report it however we did leave the do not disturb sign on the door and they were unable to have maintenance come in to have it fixed during our stay.
