It's a very affordable option near the Rockies! The YMCA campus is beautiful and there's nice scenery everywhere. We got the family room, which was big and mostly comfortable. The main building has a nice cafe and souvenir store. There are many activities to do in the big YMCA campus (games, sports, library, etc), but we couldn't do much unfortunately since we were only for one night. Would definitely visit again.
1) The room had a faint tobacco smell. There should be the option of a non-smoking room for people who don't like the smell of tobacco. 2) Sofa bed was uncomfortable.

It was a great place for our family . Kids loved the sledding hill and all play room which had tennis, indoor basketball, billiards , art and craft . Rocky mountains state park was so close and fun 🤩 . The complimentary breakfast and lunch was amazing ! We are vegetarians but still had so many options . I would rate it 10/10 😀
The only thing we didn’t like was lodges didn’t have their own extra bedding or staff !! As there are so many lodges , driving up to admin center was not very convenient for everything . Also rooms had the refrigerators but microwaves would be great too .

The location is amazing, and the staff is wonderful. There were a lot of different activities for my family to do, and some great trailheads. The meals were pretty decent, especially breakfast. There are not enough I can say about how awesome this place is and all the things you can do. If you have a family with children, this is perhaps the best RMNP location I've been to. Comfortable, and with a ton of stuff to do.
We traveled in July, and with the heat of the summer, the room was very warm (80+ every day) without A/C. That would not be an issue with fans that drew air into the room, but that was not provided initially in our room. We asked for one, and they found us one, but it was broken. We ended up having to go into town and buying a box fan from the hardware store to install in the window. After that it was far more pleasant. Next time we go back, we'll pack the box fan we bought.

The room was generously sized and very clean. The beds were just the right hardness/softness. There was a small refrigerator, which was nice. Overall, we were happy with the room for the price.
The lighting in the room was very inadequate. Glad to have two lights over the bed for reading at night, but generally the room was dim. Sink area is very small, and only usable by one person at a time. Also, the construction of the lodge is somewhat inexpensive, shall we say, so that we could hear our next-door neighbors clumping around. They probably could also hear us!

The amenities were jampacked at the YMCA. The beds were very comfty and can fit many people. It was quite close to the Rockies.
The decor of the rooms were out-dated. I wish the soap and shampoo was already integrated into the room

Very convenient and close to town and National Park. Also lots of activities for the kids. Also deer an elk are all around. Will stay again if we come back.
Stayed at the Emerald Lodge on the third floor. It was pretty warm since there is no AC. The hallway and elevator were hot as well. There are no windows that open in the hallways so you cannot get a cross breeze. The first floor felt nice because they left the doors open at night. Would not recommend staying on the high floors during the summer until they figure out some type of exhaust fan or Windows that open in hallway.

The place was really huge as well as their rooms. Clean toilets and comfortable beds. We did have a good rest after a long day from the Rockies and roaming around Estes Park. Very good view of the mountains and we saw deers wandering around the place which my son loved the most. We loved their grab and go breakfast in Rustic Cafe. We had sandwiches and Salmon with asparagus and rice meal. They did not put TV in the room and we appreciated it. You don’t actually need it if you’re surrounded with nature and there’s so much things to do if you’re going to stay in the YMCA.
unfortunately, their coffee machine in our lodge was broken during our stay.

Beautiful location, great views. On-site cafe and self-service restaurant (crowded). Despite the large groups of youth, it was peaceful and quiet.
Sprawling location, takes some time to find your way around. They left a kid in his first day of work manning the front desk. Clogged sink in shower. Room got kind of hot, no air conditioning.

Liked the lodge feeling, the grounds, the proximity to the park, Jackson Livery which my party enjoyed. Liked the location surrounded by the Rockies.
Could use better signage to find the lodge. Also, I asked about the option of staying longer once I was at the lodge, perhaps over the weekend. I believe there was room but I did not understand this concept that we could not be accommodated because we were changing rooms. So what? You know what I mean?

I did not realize the check in time 6 that was really late and early checkout 11 you really do not get that much time in your room if you stay one night I guess I didn’t pay attention on the site what the time to check in was .. but I loved the view the lobby the rooms were very nice I’ll have to come back and stay longer
