The hotel property exceeded our expectation and we love everything about it. It has a lovely, warm & rustic cabin look setting with a beautiful mountain scenery outside. The location has close proximity to the downttown area and the Rocky Mountaun National Park entrance. The hotel room is large with clean bedding linens and bath towels. The complimentary breakfast was great with several basic items to choose from. We felt so so happy that the choices included boiled eggs, bananas, apples, all types of bread, muffins, cereals, milk, yogurt, orange juices, milk, coffee & tea. It has a microwave appliance and a filtered water dispenser appliance too. All the hotel staff has provided a very pleasant & warm service. We appreciated very much the staff who was on duty at the office/breakfast area on Friday a.m., Oct 14 because he was very helpful in providing us good hiking tips concerning our plans to see Emerald Lake.. He also provided us good information about other beautiful lake sites to visit nearby. We felt bad that we missed to ask for his name. We will definitely consider this property again as our hotel accomodation in the future.

Big size room, bigger than expected. The hot tub was a nice touch! They lend us a DVD player to watch a move and they offer popcorn and smores every day for free!

Something hot for breakfast like scrambled eggs would have been nice. The cleaning of the rooms was quite late, on day we went back at 1pm and room was still not clean so we did not have it done that day as we wanted to rest a bit after an early hike.

The staff at the Hotel Estes was exceptional. They allowed us to check in an hour early and they were extremely friendly and personable. The room is very nicely decorated and a good size. Everything was very clean. The popcorn machine was awesome and we made sure to get some every day. It's also very quiet, which was great considering we brought pups that are somewhat noise reactive. We have stayed at other hotels in Estes and so far, this one is our favorite.

The breakfast left a little to be desired, especially because I have to eat gluten free and I had very limited options. The beds were a bit firm for our taste, but it didn't prevent us from sleeping at all and I'd imagine that if you like firm beds you would find them very comfortable.

View was great, going during the week instead of the weekend was a lot quieter- Thursday night more people arrived but it wasn't bad. We were behind on time and the lady checked us in just past when they like people to check in and also suggested a great pub that was still open in the area since we were starving. Great service, would stay here again.

Hard beds- not ideal but I still got some sleep. If I am being picky making the parking lines easier to see would be better, people parked by their doors and blocked off part of the parking lot to maneuver around. Maybe put up signs not to park there?

Loved the location, room size, popcorn and s’mores.

Beds were not very comfortable and bathroom small. The carpet in our room was freshly cleaned which is great but, it had a very strong bleach smell the whole time we were there. They tried to mask it with an air freshener which slightly helped. I appreciated the clean carpet, however, it stayed wet our whole stay so we couldn’t put and luggage in the floor etc.

The room was spacious with comfortable beds. The outside space was well utilized with benches and a fire in the firepit at night. We didn't take advantage of the popcorn and s'mores in the lobby, but it was a nice touch.

We were disappointed that there were no hard-boiled eggs when we went down for breakfast on our second morning. We appreciated them on the first morning.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was also very good. Alex built a fire for us in the firepit and we enjoyed the wonderful evening there.

The first night the A/C would only run for about 5 seconds and then shut off. I was up most of the night turning the A/C back on so the room would cool down so we could sleep. I reported it the next morning and it was fixed the later that day and there were no more issues.

A mom and pop style motel with nice updates. Close to town, but not so close to hear all the noise. Well laid out. Friendly staff. Clean. Had a ceiling fan in the room, which was a nice bonus. Popcorn and smores in the evening, even though we didn't participate, kids would love this.

I have to watch my sugar intake, so the breakfast needed more protein options.

Friendly, helpful staff, comfortable beds, nice room, easy access to rooms, pool and hot tub area were clean. Breakfast choices were great. They even offer popcorn and s’mores! Highly recommend this location. Worth the money!

Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. No noise so we could get good rest. Breakfast was decent as well. Location is great to visit the national park. Except for one person, all staff was very friendly and helpful. The kids enjoyed the playground on the ground
