We stayed at Nymfes for 4 nights on the beautiful island of Sifnos and would thoroughly recommend it. Located in Kamares, the main port town (though town is a stretch as it is small and perfectly walkable), Nymfes is well situated with decent views across the bay and only a short walk to the handful of waterside tavernas and coffee shops. Our rooms were side sea view, though we could happily sit on the small balcony and look over the town. Rooms, whilst compact are extremely comfortable, with good quality beds, black out blinds and excellent air con. Bathrooms are very small but have a full power shower – all recently decorated in a modern, yet fitting of the location style. Breakfast is excellent, in the open air terrace with a great selection of cereals, pastries, pies and fresh fruit available, a lot of which is home made. Great coffee – with Freddo Cappuccino available too! Pool is lovely to take a dip, though only a small number of loungers available which is not a problem with so many fantastic beaches on Sifnos. Staff were extremely friendly, accommodating and welcoming. Parking is available a short distance away from the property, though a shuttle is available to the ferry port. Great stay all round, fantastic little hotel!

The rooms were a little compact, particularly the bathroom - not a problem for us but something to be aware of. We would certainly not hesitate to stay again.

Great location - a little away from the very touristy end of town but close enough to walk to anything. Very short walk to the beach where I swam every day in the crystal clear waters. Private, generous rooms. The hotel has lots of really lovely shared outdoor areas with plenty of shade to relax. The staff are really lovely and happy to help with any queries you have. The breakfast was good and available until 11am. Kamares is a great base location and you can get anywhere else in the island in 20 mins of less. We had a hire car which made getting around very easy.

Stylish, clean, setting, architecture, creative touches, use of terracotta and pots, lovely stonework, beautiful seating areas, great breakfast, having a pool, very helpful staff, great reception support. Would stay again and recommend this hotel to all travellers.

Pool liner was peeling - probably caused by heat and sun damage and being costly to replace and to do so would I imagine put the pool out of action for some time and it is a great feature that guests would miss if not available. But does need repair. Owner was a bit grumpy on our arrival claiming we hadn’t confirmed our arrival time - we had confirmed arrival between 7 and 8 pm via Booking.com and this WAS confirmed by Booking.com app. But owner didn’t appear to know that.

Our stay at Nymfes Hotel was idyllic! The hotel and room is beautifully decorated, the room is kept spotlessly clean, the staff are all friendly and helpful. We were picked up and taken back to h the port too, free of charge. Our balcony on second floor had an amazing view of the bay and sunsets are incredible. The pool is perfect for a refreshing swim and great lounges to relax. The breakfasts each day were lovely with all sorts of yummy options and great coffee too! We have been travelling in Greece for five weeks and this place is by far the best place we have stayed at. Thank you!

Bed was very comfortable arranged with one thin mattress uniting the 2 under mattresses. Room is nicely decorated and functional. Little balcony with table and chairs and a little cloths hanger. Very nice done tiny toilet with shower and window, which allows a little air draft in the room. Big closet and cloths hanger on the wall. Chirping birds can be heard in the morning, which was nice for us. Breakfast is excellent made with love and attention. Everyday there was something different. Very nice coffee. Nice open space for breakfast surrounded by beautiful garden. The lady at the reception is extremely helpful with indications around the island and always willing to help. Location is 10 minutes walking from Port. There is a nice parking spot 1 min walking from hotel. There is a great taverna ( Taverna Argiris) 3 minutes walking at the sea front that made this location just great.

As the shower doesn't have a door the water just sparks out and floods the floor. However, they did the best out of this tiny toilet. A good option could be to add a kind of floor spatula, broom, wiper in the toilet for each customer to clean the floor after showering. I was expecting the tiny pool available (mid May) and it was without water. Maybe it could be good to specify when it is closed at the time of doing the reservation.

Convenient for the ferry - especially as a free shuttle service was offered. A well designed establishment which was tastefully decorated. A comfortable suite but I think it would be a little crowded with 2 children. Comfortable beds with good linens but the towels were a little small. We had unseasonably cold weather but the air conditioning could be reversed to act as an air source heat pump which made the room a very much better temperature. Very good and generous buffet breakfast. Very helpful proprietor who happily arranged taxis, gave useful advice and readily provided late check out at no extra cost. She arranged for us to visit her husband's pottery where we had an extremely interesting tour full of local information which would be hard to access in any other way. He sold very attractive pottery at reasonable prices without any sort of hard sell. Later and unexpectedly he regaled us with raki in a most hospitable way.

It was unfortunate that the night we arrived there was a very greek wedding party in the villa behind the hotel. Amplified bazouki music until 7:30AM made sleeping difficult. The proprietor was very apologetic but you may wish to check if she knows of similar events planned during any proposed stay! It was also unfortunate that we were so early in the season that the swimming pool was unfilled and indeed building work was still underway. It would have been nice to have been advised in advance. However I am sure the facilities will be now enhanced.

Nymfes was, by far, the best place we've stayed in Greece, and among the top three places we've stayed in the United States and Europe. Moscha, our hostess, was amazing. She welcomed us even before we arrived, offering to pick us up at the port when the ferry docked, then made us feel like both honored guests and family during our entire stay. Nymfes is perfectly located, offers a beautiful view of the sea from each balcony, and leaves no need unmet. We will definitely return to Sifnos....and to Nymfes. Thank you, Moscha!!

The only thing we didn't like was having to leave!!

Our stay at Nymfes was perfection. Everyone was so helpful and always greeted us with smiles and joy. The hotel is gorgeous, as is the pool area. Everything you need is right there! Walking distance to the port where there is swimming, gorgeous restaurants and some shopping. The island of Sifnos is gorgeous, I highly recommend adding it to your list and staying at Nymfes

Attractively furnished; modern, stylish bathroom. Nicely landscaped pool and breakfast areas. Large comfortable bed. Excellent bed linen and towels. Good variety at breakfast. Easy walking distance to bars and restaurants.

Most of all, the staff was great, nice, professional and friendly only with a smile on their face The location was good even if it was not in the Centre, it was close by The free pick up service from and to the port was really a great facility Breakfast was nice in the yard close to the pool

It was a bit louder than I had expected, close to some places with music but it wasn’t a big problem
