Very close to paddington station which was very convenient and lots of places to eat. Place was clean. We booked a large room and I would honestly hate to see the small rooms! Anything we asked staff for was not a problem and bottled water on arrival. Was warm for a building with single glaze windows.

Lift played up the last 2 days we stayed not ideal at all. I understand it is a listed building and lots of restrictions on what can be done in rooms and not but I do not understand how they are not allowed to have heavy blackout curtains this would help with heat cold and noise! Bed not very comfortable

Rooms were well finished and felt very cosy the bed was very comfy and the pillows were great the shower had plenty of power and it was quite warm

The windows were not very sound proof they also had very bad draft coming through the bottom of the windows… the shower was very small. There was no place to lay your things . The room needed more hooks to hang jackets as there was only for coat hangars which I used for my clothes

Location

Housekeeping is considered a courtesy, which for a longer stay can be a challenge. There are so many germs when traveling, and it’s summer so bedding gets sweaty. The rooms are carpeted partially or fully, and it didn’t feel clean due to these factors. It’s very cute but it’s put style over substance, so you get £11 glass of wine that you can go to any neighboring pub and enjoy for £6.50. It has large bathrooms but awkward sinks, it was hard to navigate the set up. Having spent much time in boutique and trendy hotels, such as Hotel Congress in Tucson, AZ I found that there was an intention that is terrific but it was missing the key detail of ease one is seeking in a trendy budget room.

I stayed here very last minute as I couldn’t get home due to Storm Bert and was stranded at Paddington. I was so lucky to get a room here. The room was cosy, warm and clean, the bed was comfortable, the shower powerful and the staff welcoming and friendly. I was given a bottle of water on arrival which I appreciated and there was a refill station in the reception area. I liked the overall design of the hotel and the fact that checkout wasn’t until 12. The lounge area looked great. It’s also perfectly located opposite Paddington Station. I would definitely stay again!

I was a bit thrown by having to cross an outdoor walkway to get to my room in the adjoining building, which was a little unnerving in the dark, wind and rain - I found out in the morning that there was a way to get there without having to go outside which I’d have appreciated! The walls are thin and my neighbour was doing some epic snoring, plus the sound of others trying to cross the walkway woke me a few times because the strong wind caused the door to bang loudly. I’d have loved a kettle in my room to be able to make tea - there are pantries where you can do this but it would have meant crossing the walkway again. These are all very minor points though and overall I was really delighted with my stay.

The location is superb as it’s right across from Paddington Station so great for traveling with suitcases. The decor is the most unique I’ve seen with a lovely touch of vintage, elegance and minimalism. I like the fact it has art, cafe, lounge area and pantries. Beautiful old styling done so well.

It’s a little confusing to work out all the stairwells to get to places at times. It would be great to have a few more hooks to hang things like jackets, coats, clothes etc and drawers under the bed where space allowed.

Excellent location not far from station. Very comfortable bed and quiet, warm room with good lighting for reading. Marvellous lounge restaurant with delicious food and lovely staff.

No chair in room and shower too high for short people. Bit of a maze to get to the room on 4th floor across an outside walkway, with no numbers on doors in my passageway that I could see. Helpful details about hotel not in room, but online, which I didn't get till too late as my phone wasn't working!

I loved the vibe and the artwork throughout. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The coffee on the ground floor was exceptional (I live in Australia and we have high coffee standards) I enjoyed the magazine selection and the records being played in the lobby. Location was perfect for me to walk to Paddington station and hop on the Heathrow express, this was one of the reasons I chose to stay here. The hotel was happy to look after my suitcase prior to check in and after checkout before my train departed.

I know the room would be small which was fine for me as a lone traveller. I had a large suitcase with me and there really wasn't any room to put it so it stayed on my bed or at the door. There were only 2 power points in the room, one was being used by the fan needed as it was very hot whilst I was there. I had to move the tv in order to access the other power point to charge my phone to use he hairdryer which was not ideal.

We'd booked a small room initially and our fault as a small room was too small for 2 people. But the upgrade process was easy and the staff are super friendly and helpful. The location is EXCELLENT - 2 mins from the new Paddington station to get around by metro and more importantly easy to jump on the Heathrow Express to get to the airport. There's an excellent Lebanese restaurant next door and plenty of dining options within 10 minute walk. I LOVED the ambiance of the hotel - cool vibe, excellent breakfast. I will be staying here again!!!

Nothing springs to mind an AWESOME stay - thank you

This is the second time I stayed at The Pilgrm. The manger and staff were super accommodating. My flight was delayed and I didn’t get much sleep on the flight. By the time I arrived at The Pilgrm, I was exhausted and got annoyed with the check-in process. The manager noticed and offered me to check-in right away since they had a room available, so I could rest. Note that this was way before the regular check-in time. The staff then offered me something to drink. I truly appreciate their kind gestures and attentiveness that made me feel like home.

In the summer, it can be tough without air conditioning due to regulatory restrictions ( the hotel is in a historical building).
