Location was perfect for carnival just 2 tube stops away from Nottinghill. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the owner Connan is lovely. No lift in the property and we were on the 3rd floor but the manager carried our cases up and down for us so wasn't an issue for us. Lovely little budget hotel which was a fraction of the cost of some others in the area, had everything we needed, tea and coffee making facilities in our room and clean towels supplied every morning.

Bathroom was a bit small but perfectly functional.

The location is fantastic, being so close to Paddington Station. From the Heathrow Express train it took me around 5 minutes to be settled in my room. Great spot for walkers, or it's easy to use the Underground and pop up wherever you like in London. It's surrounded by a wide variety of restaurants and there are supermarkets and Boots chemist at the station. Close to Hyde Park, where I went horse-riding (the best day of my trip to the UK). The room was small but very clean and comfortable. The highlight for me, as a solo traveler, was how safe I felt. The desk is manned 24 hours, and you have to buzz for them to let you in. The staff were amazing. I stayed for 8 nights and every staff member made me feel welcome and offered me advice with my planned daily activities or where to find the best food and coffee. I'll always go back to this hotel.

Very clean and fantastic staff.

It costs ten pounds extra to check in if you arrive before 2 pm. Even if your room is ready. Never had that before.

The rooms were clean & tidy. Very easy to get to Paddington station to visit London Central areas. The staff were so lovely and very welcoming, especially Mehdi & Hakeem. The rooms felt safe to leave belongings and the bed was pretty comfy. The room was perfect for our 4 day stay and exceptional as a budget accommodation space.

The amenities are limited with only a kettles & basic tea/coffee facilities, so if you're looking to make your own meals this isn't the place for you. The shower was a little aged and could benefit from new shower head but really this is a minute detail only. Wouldn't recommend for families, but for singles, couples & groups of friends on a budget, this place is ideal.

The location is in a Victorian house - very cosy, sense of being at home. The position is very convenient, being just 5’ walk from PADDINGTON station and the underground. The hotel is in a quite square, then no noise at night. plenty of restaurants and pubs around for the evening. The room and bathroom was very clean and had all what needed, despite in a very small space. This includes tea/coffee facilities, Wi-Fi, safe box, AC, hair dryer. Last but not least, the outstanding service at the reception desk. The staff members were very kind, supportive for any request. Recommended!

Nothing we did not like - just the size of the room was extremely small but within a good ratio price quality. Was challenging to open a big baggage but we managed.

Front desk people very helpful and friendly. Staff member carried my bag up and down to my room on the 5th floor. WiFi was great, bed was comfy, and bonus mini fridge in room..

The single room was TINY-more like a pod. Couldnt open suitcase in room without putting it on bed, and it had to stand up while i was on the bed. Deadbolt on room door not working. Satellite TV connections not set up properly therefore not working despite being new. No hairdryer, alarm clock or phone in room as advertised.(not a deal breaker) Hotel also under renovation so stairs covered in plastic making it slippery for guests, and workers there from 10 am till supposedly 6 pm (which went later)

In all, a fairly typical Paddington area hotel, set apart by outstanding Staff who are trying hard to do a great job. Top floor room was very small but fine for one person. Bed was comfortable and the facilities (shower, TV, Wifi etc) were good.

Like many hotels in this area there are lots of flights of stairs with a handful of rooms on each landing and no lift. No problem when lugging an overnight bag up to the top floor.. but I wouldn't want to manage a large suitcase up those stairs. And, whilst I'm aware these rooms can be small. when sitting on the loo puts you halfway into the room it's a bit ridiculous. But for one person on their own - it's absolutely OK.

Location was easy to find, very accessible by tube and train. Walking distance to where we were headed (Royal Albert Hall). Clean and tidy. Compact, but that was as described (and booked). There is an excellent Lebanese place to eat a few yards around the corner as well as restaurants and various small snack shops.

There was a reasonable amount of noise from staff moving up and down the stais and vacuuming what felt early. Check out isn't till 10am, so starting earlier than 9am felt slightly inhuman when we had been to an event that finished very late! The windows didn't keep any noise out, and it is a reasonably lively area until 1am.

The location is good. The staff were friendly and helpful on my arrival after a long flight which is important. l stayed in the single room. The room had its own shower and toilet which was small but this is what you get in London because they have limited space in the historical buildings. Part of the experience.

The kettle was in a low shelf position and l found it difficult to make my coffee no space and the kettle did not detach from the plug to fill it up with water. Shelves should be higher.

Great stay as always! This time we had a bigger room which was great. We've stayed here many times & have had no issues so it was nice to have a slightly bigger room. Staff are super friendly & helpful which is why we try & stay here everytime we visit. Perfect location next to Paddington, Tube, bars & restaurants. Nice clean room. Coffee & tea facilities. Hairdryer. Fan. Plenty of wardrobe space. No lift, wasn't an issue for us & they do offer to carry your bags should you require help, so that's good.

shower. The shower head is too high, isn't adjustable & direction misses you completely.
