Our room was large and very comfortable. Bathroom was very impressive. Excellent views over Colombo, especially from the rooftop pool. Doormen were very friendly. Hotel is in a 'posh' area so safe and interesting to walk around. Just a short walk to Viharamahadevi Park which has some interesting trees and is right next to the national museums.

WiFi was very slow (less than 1Mbps sometimes) which was a surprise for a superior hotel in a capital city. We had faster WiFi in our Eco Lodge! Some of the check-in staff could have been a bit more welcoming at check-in for such a high end hotel. I also had to request an invoice when we checked out, which was just as well as there was an erroneous breakfast charge on our bill. It took longer to sort out than it should have done (do they get that many guests cheating them?). Not quite "celebrity treatment with world-class service" to quote from Booking.com

Great 4 or 5 start hotel with affordable prices. For locals, I recommend calling them directly to get the local discounts. Breakfast was just 15 euros(added at the time of booking) for all three of us but we were blown asway. Great number of verities including Sri lankan traditional to Western. In smaller portions so you can try most of them. Presentation was great too. Their roof top and the roof top bar were great too. A nice view of Colombo downtown. Bar offered a variety of cocktails with great service. The entire hotel strives to be sustainable-- we saw very few plastics usages. Also staff were great too.

Not much. Find a way to add a tip to the credit card bill. I didn't have any cash in my hand to tip the bar tender. I am sorry!

Spacious room with good working space. The buffet breakfast is good, but would have been even better if they offered egg hoppers. For a vegetarian the dinner menu is limited if you stay more than 4 nights, but otherwise fine and the staff are attentive. The rooftop pool and bar area is a bonus and one of the reasons to go back. The gym is pretty good and attended. I also like the location - whilst lots of Colombo's best hotels are located on or near Galle Face, this hotel is in the best residential area in Colombo, walking distance from Colombo Town Hall, Viharamahadevi Park, Nelum Pokuna Theatre, and the restaurants of Park Street Mews.

I had a truly wonderful stay at Jetwing Colombo Seven in Sri Lanka’s captivating city of Colombo! I was particularly impressed with the chains ethos of sustainability: a feature that the hotel employs throughout in its practices. The staff here are absolutely fantastic - Chathurika and Samantha on the reception desk made sure my stay went smoothly, and in general, everyone working at Jetwing Colombo Seven are committed to making their guest’s time here a positive experience. My room was gorgeously outfitted in textural wooden tones, with a huge king size bed, and beautiful bathroom. A host of amenities, including free water, tea and coffee, and a well stocked minibar, were also included. The breakfast, served on the ground floor in an expansive light filled dining room, was delicious, with a host of options, both continental and Asian. The highlight of Jetwing Colombo Seven, though, is undoubtedly its panoramic rooftop space - the views out over Colombo from up here are spectacular and I had a mesmerising final evening in the infinity pool, sipping my handcrafted arrack based cocktail, and enjoying the glittering surrounds.

i travelled with my daughter and sister. the room was very spacious, bigger than shagrilla so value for money was great. we ordered room service and the food was delicious, definitly a five star.. we loved srilankan lunch box in the menu. pool was super clean and beautiful, we loved the full kitchen and the appliances provided, i also loved how much attention was given to the sustainability and how peaceful the whole hotel was. so many places to sit down and reset. seating area outside the lobby was also beautiful, it was so easy while we wait for our ride.. i thought it was a great idea to place the biography in our room..

the blind near the bathtub was a bit untidy probably because of water splashing to it. but other than that everything else was just beyond

Despite booking and paying for two deluxe rooms, we were given one regular room, which was noticeably smaller and lacked essential amenities. Additionally, the second room was missing basic toiletries like a toothbrush. When we requested a change to the deluxe rooms we originally reserved, our request was ignored.

The staff were incredible during our stay for NYE. They did everything to make our stay really comfortable and they we really helpful with supporting our requests to take part in their activities. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The beds are soft and very large. We were impressed with all of the smaller touches in the room too. We would definitely stay again. They were really lovely when they found out our flight had been cancelled and tried to make sure we were comfortable when we had to book a second night. Great tuk tuk tour in their electric vehicle too!

Very calm area with Cargill supermarket in front , where you can buy spices and other souvenir to bring back. The apartment was very spacious, more than I expected. The breakfast was a bit pricey for the quality, although you get fresh coconut juice( not everyday). Location wise, it is easy to get everywhere but a bit distant from main areas ( one Galle face, restaurants ) but Overall, very pleased with our choice .

The kitchen is not fully equipped. There is a microwave so great for our baby.

Rooms were spacious and well appointed. Overall, it's a good hotel.

Breakfast options could've been better.

The location being out of the centre of Colombo gives you value for money and easy access to Galle Face etc. The roof swimming pool is great with million dollar sunset views, great while drinking a beer or cocktail. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

This might be a little unkind, as we had far better breakfasts at other hotels in Sri Lanka. From my perspective, on arrival to Sri Lanka I would like to have a Hoppa for breakfast rather than a western omelette, but maybe that’s just me
