Rooms nice and spacious and well equipped. Coffee/tea corner, plenty of storage for clothes and suitcases, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, spacious bathroom with all you should need provided. Beds comfy and everything pristine clean. The size of the room was a nice surprise for me as I stayed with a kid and having a nice spaceious room with plenty of space for both of us was great. The pub with breakfast and food served till late is just below so very handy. Staff very welcoming and friendly and helpful. The beach literally just around the corner, 3 minutes on foot max so location was great. Had a great stay.
Well... it's a motel so not the prittiest-looking building from the outside and it did put me off at the start a little bit... but only until I get to the room and found out that rooms were great, spacious, comfortable and super clean. Be aware there is no lift, so the people that would struggle with that, make sure you request the ground floor room.

The staff are really great and the location is ideal for catching the early ferry to Dublin. The beds are very comfortable and we needed interconnecting rooms to have the kids in one room and us in the other, which they were able to do for us. The room is large; we easily fit our two large suitcases in and had room to move around, and it was clean and warm.
You do have to carry your suitcases up the outside metal stairs to get to the rooms above ground level, which was hard to do quietly, especially as we had to leave early in the morning and I was worried about disturbing the other guests.

We have stayed before because it is dog friendly. The room was large and spacious with 2 comfy single beds in it. Lots of tea, coffee, milk and kettle. Hairdrier provided. We were on the top floor, so we had partial sea views and fabulous sunset views. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. The jacuzzi bath was fab after long walks. The breakfast was lovely. We had full Welsh one day and Continental the next. We couldn't get a table for evening meals as it was booked up so must be good. Loved the smell of the toiletries in the bathroom. Shampoo, conditioner and hand wash all provided. We took our own fridge for the dog food.
Thin walls. We had an adjoining room, and we could hear the people next door talking, coughing, and snoring, but perhaps this was because of the door to the next room. Only thing we would like is a little fridge but brought our own.

Stayed here a few times now, and the staff are always helpful and accommodating. The food available at the restaurant/bar is always top quality and fantastic portions. The rooms are a good size with everything you need, and if you run out of anything, then they're always happy to provide more for you.
On this occasion, my bedding and towels had some stains on them. Obviously not an issue as I knew they were clean. White can be difficult to maintain when used a lot, but it was strange to see when they've normally always been top quality. It was very loud outside quite late in the evening but was only one night, and although it kept me awake for a bit, I still managed to get some sleep and feel refreshed the next day. Aside from that, everything else was great as always.

As a solo traveller with a dog its a great place to stay. They have a generous sized carpark. The beds are SO comfy. Staff are friendly and helpful. My last visit was about 18mths ago and standards are just as good now so I'll definitely be back again and I'll have to try out their breakfasts too.
I know the jets on that type of bath are faffy to keep white but when the rest of the room is spotless it just makes them stand out more. I had no concerns about the general cleanliness it was literally just that one thing.

We arrived quite late but we still managed to check in before 10.00pm. We were still in time for a drink at the bar before last orders. The receptionist had tried to call to see if we needed a late check-in which was really kind. However, my phone was on silent for the journey. I appreciated the fact that they tried to call. Breakfast was really good. There were several breakfast packages to choose from so you could suit yourself. Everything was beautifully cooked. We were in the room closest to the car park. It was a great room, great location and had the bonus of a spa bath. The bathroom was huge. It was a wet room complete with spa bath, shower and shower stool. It was perfect was a wheelchair user or anyone with mobility issues. The Motel location was perfect for visiting Holyhead and other nearby towns. I believe it is a dog friendly Motel as several travellers were on holiday with their dogs who were very well behaved. The lobby and bar has a large selection of books to browse and buy. What a fantastic idea. There was a cheaper hotel just minutes away but this Motel had a wonderful charm to it. Don't let the outside put you off from booking this charming Motel.
The spa bath was a little too narrow and very noisy in operation but apart from that a lovely treat.

The staff were welcoming, helpful, and kind from the moment we checked in. The food they served in the bar/restaurant was absolutely delicious, and they had plenty of drink options, including non alcoholic beers. I liked the books they had in the bar/restaurant entrance and the varied sports they showed on TV every day. The room was spacious, had an ironing board/iron available, and had extra pillows. The bathroom had everything you needed, including shower gel/hand-wash in case you forgot to bring some (yes, I forgot). If at all anything was low, such as the milk or tissue, the housekeepers were around to provide more when needed. The bed was super comfy, and I liked that they had black-out blinds as well as curtains to ensure you had a restful night's sleep. If you're fussy when it comes to your morning coffee, then the bar/restaurant makes a delicious latte, which is a few steps away from the rooms, so not far to sleepily wonder across. 😉 The staff were all so lovely to my senior miniature poodle cross. If you want a nice quiet, friendly, welcoming place to rest your sleepy head after an adventure around the island, then I highly recommend this place. Treaddur Bay is also a wonderful place to have a wonder around. There are copious places that are dog friendly inside, which also offer free treats and water for your pooches after a walk. It was a nice stay whilst visiting my family and home from home.
The shower was a little crazy but we managed to fix it enough for it to work and not shoot out the side of it all over the floor. The glass shower guard wasn't flush to the bath and wouldn't stay, so that also soaked the floor too, aside from that, no other issues. :)

We stayed here for the night before catching a ferry. The hotel was perfect for our stay. The staff were very friendly & helpful & the food was very good in the restaurant/bar. Location was excellent, only 8 minutes to the Holyhead ferry & a couple of minutes walk to a lovely little beach. Will definitely be staying again.
Only slight downside was the outside staircase which was a little tricky with the dogs & if you have mobility problems ask for a downstairs room.

Really enjoyed our stay here! Rooms were great! Very, very clean and quite spacious. Nice TV. Could do with some accessible plug sockets by the beds but we pulled bed out a little and found a double point. Some USB points would be good to for charging. A very minor thing though. Comfy beds, nice towels, good set up. Nice bathroom, as a few have said, beware the power of the shower, it blasts out! Wish is a nice feature and very refreshing! Jacuzzi bath too, the switch to turn it on ia outside the room on the wall. Have to say, the staff were absolutely superb! From check in, to help with the golf and check out. Very impressed. Nice surrounds too, 9 hole golf course next door and some nice views. Decent little bar area and plenty of parking. Will definitely be staying again. Treaddur Bay is beautiful!
Needs somw accessible plugs by the beds and maybe some USB charging points. Small thing though

On first appearance the motel isn’t the most attractive of properties. However the rooms are warm, comfortable and spacious. The staff are welcoming and accommodating. Beds comfy, shower powerful enough to wash away the hangover delivered by the fun open Mike night in the bar with local talented musicians. Breakfast was freshly cooked. Overall a great stay for our onward journey on the Angelsea costal path.
