I recently stayed at the Ferntree Hotel and had a fantastic experience. The location is perfect, nestled in a serene area that offers a peaceful retreat while still being conveniently close to local attractions and amenities. The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed, providing all the comforts needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the décor was modern yet cozy. Overall, I highly recommend the Ferntree Hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The combination of excellent location, comfortable rooms, and delicious breakfast makes it a top choice.

We loved the location of the premises, the layout and cleanliness of the chalet style rooms and how friendly the staff were. Even the drive to get there was an adventure that the kids loved. My only wish is that we stayed longer. While there is limited mobile service, it was nice to stop and take in the beauty of our surroundings.

The menu in the restaurant is a little on the pricey side, however its one of the few venues for patrons to eat in that area and food delivery there isn't as simple as a quick trip to the shops. All in all, it was yummy, and we all went back to our room for the night feeling satisfied!

Amazing location and beautiful lush setting. Loved the pool and restaurant area. Room was very airy and clean. Bed was very comfy and the aircon and fan worked well.

I think the room just lacked a few finishing touches. No utensils (tea/coffee and mugs were there, but no spoons). Walls are bare and could use a picture or two. No bedside tables.

Fantastic location in the heart of the Daintree Rainforest. Staff were kind and welcoming when at the desk but we missed them a couple of times. We were given a free room upgrade (not sure why!) which we were very happy about - we thought it was a mistake but the staff assured us it wasn't! Room was clean, spacious, complimentary toiletries etc. The standout for us was the Night tour (at an extra cost and available to book at reception) around the Dubuji Boardwalk with the local guide. It was an unreal 3 hours and we saw bioluminescent trees, scorpions, spiders, ants etc. it was utterly incredible and was a fantastic experience.

Not much! Having a microwave would have been good but would have been a bonus as the restaurant was quite pricey. But it wasn't expected as it wasn't included in our booking confirmation so we were aware of what the facilities were.

Nice house, big bed and obviously a beautiful location. We took the night walk as well and that was just magical!

We were disappointed that the pool was closed. They pointed out the pool to us at reception but didn't mention it was closed so we got changed and walked there, ready for one of the only facilities the place had but had to offer to then return to our room... Yes I understand pools need maintenance or whatever was going on with it but a little warning or a compensation would have been nice ("our pool is closed but here's a voucher for a little discount on a meal". Everyone wins, we are warned and now we will eat at the restaurant as well.), especially if your pool is such a big feature.

This place is idealic if the idea of being genuinely 'in' the rainforest appeals, you leave your lodge and walk through the leaves and the first to get to the outdoor reception and reception area. The air con in our room was amazing, brand new updated units! The staff were lovely and the access to the experience of the rainforest was so easy, we'd definitely come back. Thanks to Steph and her team! :)

Nothing stood out as a problem for us, this place is in the middle of the rainforest, if you don't like the humidity, a few bugs and the quiet of the trees then maybe it's not for you :D we stayed in the budget rooms, they're not quite as plush as the main lodges but perfect for us, we want to be outside and checking out the world.

The rainforest around there is stunning and it was walking distance to one of the boardwalks that you can stroll into the rainforest on day or night. The night walk tour was terrific. Location was on a quiet back street off the main road. The Private cabin was very good. Bathroom a bit dated but fine. Gardens around hotel were pretty. Concrete walkways and lighting were terrific in the rain.

They had lost their chef so the menu was limited: Spaghetti, burgers or seafood. Very tasty, just limited menu. It rained a lot even though it was the dry season so it was hard to dry clothes after washing them or towels (nothing the hotel did wrong, just the weather).

The accommodation was private with lovely views of surrounding jungle. The complex was quiet with a beautiful pool and delicious dinner at restaurant.

No WiFi in rooms but it is available at reception area that had plenty of couches. There is still mobile reception available throughout the property also.

The rainforest setting of the cabin was a real bonus, totally surrounded by nature. This was a good spot for travelling around the Daintree. The cabin was clean and comfortable. We had dinner at the restaurant. Similar prices to a few other places nearby, although the choice is limited out here in the rainforest, and it was convenient.

It was quite a distance from the car park to the cabin to haul the luggage, plus the path was cobbled and therefore bumpy. I don't know why anyone would have built it like this given guests have to drag their luggage over this rough surface.

I loved the tranquility and beauty of the entire resort. The pool was like a tropical oasis and our little house blended beautifully into the forest. I loved how it smelt like fresh lemongrass as soon as I entered the property. It felt like I was in a treehouse. I was surprised at how well priced the menu at the restaurant was and even more surprised at how delicious my prawn linguine was. Exceptional! The chef and waitstaff were so hospitable and provided excellent service. To top it off- my morning coffee was actually really good! I’ll be back for sure- with 100% certainty.

Restaurant not opened at lunchtime but that’s understandable. I embraced this as an opportunity to check out all the other cafes and restaurants in the area. They were all very good- great vibe.
