Conveniently located 1.8km from the ferry river crossing. Set in a lush tropical environment with beautiful trees around including some tropical fruit trees. Managed to taste some star apples off the tree. Wrap around veranda which is nice. Many colourful beetles visit which we like. Room on the small side for us but still functional for 2 people. Comfortable bed, small corner table. Adequate size bathroom with a small space to park personal toiletries. Wifi strong signal. Good breakfast. Shared large lounge with a fridge, microwave, dining table, TV. For hot water ask host to boil kettle each time but host are very accommodating. No kettle in the common lounge. Overall had a pleasant stay.
Small table in the bedroom. Having to ask host to boil kettle for hot water.

I only spent one night here but I left wishing I had stayed longer. Robbie and Charmaine were great hosts and super friendly. They are quite keen to leave you to your privacy but were always on hand for anything you needed and were good for the odd story about the wildlife around the property. The room was very comfortable, clean and nicely presented. The highlight though was the view from the upstairs terrace area into the hills and trees, especially in the early evening as the sun was going down. I had never seen anything like it. I would absolutely recommend to stay here if you are looking for somewhere quiet and secluded with a proper feeling of being in the rainforest. They provided a tasty breakfast too. I hope to come back here again for a longer stay next time.
Nothing, the property was perfect.

It is with great pleasure that I recommend Rate Daintree Manor based on my recent stay. Everything was impeccable during my visit. The breakfast was delightful, offering a wonderful start to each day. The room was exceptionally comfortable, providing a relaxing retreat after a day of exploring. It is evident that the staff pays meticulous attention to detail, which greatly enhances the overall guest experience. This level of care and commitment to excellence is truly commendable and sets Rate Daintree Manor apart. I would not hesitate to recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a memorable and enjoyable stay. Regards Tomas and Kaan

The view from the balcony was spectacular. It was lovely to be able to sit on the balcony and chill. The hosts were friendly and the room was very comfortable. There was a common room available with a TV and a book library. The included cooked breakfast was delicious. There are three rooms available and it was nice to mingle with the other guests but you still had your own space. The yard was really lovely to walk around. The property is very self sufficient.
A luggage rack in the room would have been useful. There was no TV in the bedroom but that was not a big deal. Breakfast is at 8.30 am which we found a little late if you are planning on exploring.

Charmaine and Rob are so welcoming. The breakfasts are amazing and all the little touches were so appreciated. Being able to make coffee anytime or to call down for a kettle to be boiled is great. The room was large, very clean and well supplied and the fan was extremely efficient against the heat and humidity. Charmaine took a lot of time to tell us about all the places to visit or eat in the area. She also recommended some amazing tours. Thank you so much

The location is excellent and the views are stunning. The surrounding gardens are so neat and were great for walking around with our 18 month old. Room was very clean. Rob gave us some lovely bread on the first night and escorted us to a nearby private swimming hole the next day. The hosts consider the needs of their guests and try their best to look after them, e.g. they allowed us to eat breakfast separately with our toddler.
The dogs scared the crap out of my wife a couple of times (and she loves dogs). Maybe keep them further away from the stairs. We wished there was a microwave upstairs (it is annoying and a bit embarrassing to ask the owners to heat things up all the time). The lack of a kitchen I think would start to be annoying after a few days.

Absolutely amazing place in the heart of the rain forest. If you want to experience nature at its best then this is the place to stay. High up in the forest this hidden gem is off grid and as close to nature as you’re likely to get. Rob & Charmaine are the perfect hosts and a wonderfully knowledgeable and friendly couple that are happy to share there stories with you if you’re interested. Breakfast is 5* and enjoyed in the most perfect and tranquil surroundings you could imagine.
Nothing - for us this hidden gem was just perfect. Keep up the good work Rob & Charmaine x

The location is ideal. It's just off the Daintree River ferry. An excellent starting point for exploring the Daibtree Rainforest and coastal trip to Far North QLD. I highly recommend booking more days because we regret not staying longer! This house is very environmentally friendly. The whole building is completely off-grid to reduce the damage and pollution to the environment as much as possible. Rob and Charmaine treat the lovely wild animals around and the cats and dogs in the house very well! I can feel their kindness and love to the nature environment, which I admire very much! The place is very clean and cosy and has everything we need! The breakfast is super good and healthy. Rob and Charmaine were very kind and helpful and gave us a lot of help. It was very enjoyable to talk with Rob and Charmaine and I really appreciate their lifestyle!

We loved everything about our stay at The Daintree Manor B & B. This was our very first B & B and if they’re all like this, I don’t why we haven’t tried a B & B, before now but I guess if we went to a B & B now our expectations would be very high! Robbie and Charmaine were very hospitable and lovely to meet, we felt welcome straight away. The breakfast were very wholesome and tasty, which we enjoyed very much. Nothing was too much trouble if we needed anything, Charmaine and Robbie were ready to help us, especially when we needed help with where to go and what to see and where to get lunch while we were out. It was lovely to meet other guests who were staying there. If you are going to the Daintree, you must stay here and oh the beds are so comfortable.
That we had to leave …..but will definitely return

We were welcomed by the very nice and helpful host. They gave us wonderful tips and helped us book a Crock tour at the last minute. The B&B is located in a perfect location, on a heel in the middle of the forest, so the whole experience and view are amazing and authenctic. The room was very clean, and there is a shared living room, which includes a fridge and coffee and drinks, a big space to make yourself a snack or just to hang out. The whole property includes only three rooms, which make it very intimiate and quiet. The breakfast was very tasty and was according to a prior dietary request. As B&B in the middle of the forest, this is definitely a 10/10 accommodation.
The only thing I could think about is that the WIFI is a little bit slow, but this is obviously due to the location in the middle of the forest.
