Very clean rooms. The location is great! It is really kid friendly. They have a “KidFest” Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 2-4pm where they set up snacks, crafts, and games for kids. The indoor pool is ACTUALLY heated and you can tell. At the back parking lot they have feeders for the ducks and fish. Our kids enjoyed that the most I think. The geese and ducks would see you walk to the feeder and tons of them would come from everywhere to eat. They also gave the kids a little gift bag when we checked in.

The front desk staff could have definitely been more welcoming. With that being said though, they weren’t terribly rude.

My husband and I love this little hotel. They have free breakfast (if you're up by 10am). They have free chocolate chip cookies at 4pm until they are gone. And starting at 7pm they have free freshly popped popcorn! Also in the lobby, all the coffee machines are available 24/7! If you're not in the mood for coffee, have a complementary mug of hot chocolate or hot apple cider (which is delicious)!! All of the little extras really make it feel like home. We will stay here every time.

The vanity in the bathroom is a little small, but there are shelves underneath with the towels.

Nice breakfast.

Beds are very high and too firm. Sink in bathroom too tall and very small counter space. At 5 foot 2, and older, it was difficult. Also, not enough electrical outlet where you need them, and the hotel is a little dark.

Very clean. Staff was very kind and helpful. Popcorn and drinks are served in the afternoon and breakfast was great and one of the largest selections that I have seen. Location was central to many attractions and the hotel is on the river. Ducks, and geese adore the property and we feed several from hand. Santa’s Village and Puckett’s BBQ are next to hotel. Oh and did I mention fresh cookies in the evening too!

I honestly can’t complain about anything. This property really is a step above the other hotels in this price point. We will stay here again and we encourage you to give this property a chance.

The Inn On The River is a small hotel but very nice and a good value. The location was great. It is right on the Parkway, with a nice restaurant right next door and Starbucks across the street, and it was a short drive to all the activities in Pigeon Forge. The room was nice and clean. We had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable. They served hot breakfast from 7-10 am that was really good and the hotel staff couldn’t have been nicer! I would definitely stay there again.

The room (especially the bathroom) might be a bit small for a family trip, but it was just me and my daughter for the three night stay and it was comfortable for the two of us.

The staff was wonderful . 😁❤️ Mrs. DOTTIE at the front desk was wonderful . She was a very pleasant person to talk to and made the check-in process easy and smooth . The atmosphere and smell when you walked into the hotel was fantastic. The breakfast was good and the room was clean. The room needed some minor attention but overall wonderful stay . I did not take any photos in the room , but in the lobby, I did .

The only thing I would complain about is that the price was a little much . If the price was a little lower, I would have booked my entire weekend stay in this hotel . I know that it is a highly rated hotel, but the prices were a little high .

The location was perfect! It was close to everything we planned to visit. I enjoyed the patio area and being able to eat and chill while enjoying the weather in the shade. The animals and the scenic view of the river were cool too. We also enjoyed the fireplace and rocking chairs in the evening. The breakfast was good and the afternoon cookies and evening popcorn were a nice touch to an already great experience. The pool and hot tub were never overly crowded. The staff members were extremely nice and always helpful. I also loved that the keycards were little keychains which made it easier to keep track of.

I enjoyed the stay and have nothing negative to say.

This was my first stay in a hotel that had a Kurig coffee machine!! Breakfast was great and everyone we talked to was very kind.

Both nites I was bitten during the night. I checked for bedbugs and did y see any. They weren’t bedbug bites though. They looked more like spider bites. The bites were red, swollen and hard & hot to the touch. My left hand swelled up to the point I couldn’t use it. They were so fierce they left my blood on the sheets. Only other thing was that we didn’t have a view of the River.

From Check IN to Check OUT...we had a great stay! Staff was super friendly and helpful! Breakfast options were exceptional! The firepit area and outdoor sitting area by the river was very nice!! We walked to the Island and our dinner show. Was nice not having to fight traffic or find a parking spot! The cookies and popcorn were a nice treat!

If I had to find one complaint....I wish the "Chilled juice" was actually "chilled juice". Lukewarm water, apple, and orange juice is not super refreshing. There is an ice machine close by though! No other dislikes at all!

The breakfast area was clean, I was impressed with real dishes instead if paper & plastic products. The breakfast was good although it was basically the same every morning. Sausage patties & links, scrambled eggs, potaoes , biscuits & gravy. It was good. The fireplace outside, sitting outdoors to watch the river & the ducks.. The maintence man was the best he gave us advise on restaurants & other things to do.

My fist impressions was not good We arrived at 4pm & our room was not ready. The girl at the front desk was dry. No personality for this position at all. Thank goodness we only delt with her 1 time. The rest of the staff was nice.
