We had a really nice big comfortable room with great air conditioning which was much needed. It was an ideal central location and close to everywhere we wanted to go.

We didn't find it easy to spot from driving there and the streets are very busy nearby. The car park is good but expensive at 15 Euros per night and it was difficult to find a free space on the street especially if you are new to the area. The breakfast was ok but we didn't think was worth the extra cost.

The hotel has very strategic postion. Everything is several minutes on foot from there. Bus station, public bus stop, central public bus stops (Portagem), railway station Coimbra (cca 5 min), Coimbra-B (cca 15-20 min), two supermarkets, restaurants, the center etc. The staff is willing to answer the questions or send the invoice by e-mail on request immediately, absolutely no problem. The bed was very comfortable. The shower enclosure without any flaw - I haven't seen it for a long time. Very surprising and I appreciate it!

Maybe the explicit information within the hotel policy that the check-in is possible after midnight would help to somebody...

The Stafford great. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The little balcony area was nice as well.

Some of the room facilities were in poor repair. For example, the lapse didn’t stand up correctly, and the stems had been broken by previous guests. None of this detracted from our stay.

The room was lovely and the bed was enormous and super comfortable. The location was excellent for public transport and for arriving/departing via coach or train. There are some great restaurants not too far away, and once you get your bearings, it is also easy to find your way around to the sights.

The breakfast was pretty basic - we had better in all our other accommodations in Portugal. The map of Coimbra provided to us wasn't actually helpful as it was so hard to read.

The location was quite good. There was a cafe Coimbra Doce across the road which served nice meals, with courteous staff, some speaking English. There was a launderette 3 minutes away, and a Continente supermarket two minutes away. A large post office one minute away. The town centre was within walking distance, and bus services in front of the hotel. Hot water was great. Electric kettle and fridge in the room was convenient. Breakfast was good too.

Selection of TV channels in English could have been wider. Would have been nice to have a microwave too.

Good value for money and walking distance to the old town. The aircon worked and bed was okay. The fridge is tiny and it took a while before it was cold enough but in the end it worked.

The bathroom is small and the grouting in the shower needed a good clean.

Close to tourist spots. Very helpful and friendly staff.

The bed was too soft for our taste. There was only one chair. The lighting was poor.

The staff was nice and welcoming, and very helpful. The room had great conditions, although a bit hot. However, I never used the air conditioning. They were very flexible regarding my arrival and departure conditions, letting me leave my luggage for a few extra hours after check out with no questions.

I liked the little glasses of yoghurt served at breakfast. The croissants were good too. The bed was nice. The location was good for what I was doing. A man working at the reception named Michael made Michelin star level toast - presentation and taste wise! Reception staff were very courteous.

The internet was poor and the connection was choppy. The spaghetti bolognaise was ok but far from impressive.

It is a really Nice tom, the staff was amazing. But in the last day in out star we had a problem with out shower.

The shower wasn’t that good, there was no enough pressure from the water to keep it warm
