Very friendly staff, nice pool area, wonderful room, good breakfast. The whole package was ideal for us. We found little to nothing that would be worth subtracting any points from the 10.

The only points we can think of is that the positioning of the shower and the toilet isn’t ideal. You have to walk through the (sometimes wet) shower to get to the toilet and unfortunately we couldn’t find a way not to flood the toilet area while showering, which means we had to place a towel on the floor each time one of us showered. The location is a little outside of Ubud but nothing a Grab or ideally a scooter couldn’t solve.

The space felt like home! We rented the villa with private pool and it felt like we were the only ones at the hotel. We didn’t even go to the common pool area -our yard felt like paradise. Private, clean and the beds were so comfortable. The rooms had wonderful shampoo and body wash and hand soap, but no conditioner. So bring your own if you need it. The staff was so amazing. They were always smiling and never said no to anything. They were truly what made this stay so lovely. Every morning we would wake up to the wonderful smell of incense and I had to buy the same ones to recreate the same feeling at home ! I would 100% stay here again. It’s about a $1 -$2 grab into town so it’s a bit difficult to walk because of the sidewalks being uneven/missing at times. However, it makes for a quiet and wonderful stay when back at the villa. It felt like I was coming home. Room service was very reasonable. Breakfast choices were $4-6 and same with dinner options. There is also a coffee shop right in front of the villa if you want smoothie bowls or different drinks. The circle K is like a 1 minute walk away so it’s easy to get anything small that you may have forgotten.

Hotels location is not so close to the center however if you travel with a motorbike, there is usually no traffic in the road and it is easy to get to the center. Also there is a parking available In the room they even put an umbrella, that was sos thoughtful. We stayed in the villa for 3 nights and everything was clean, the bathroom smells nice and it is really comfortable for 4 people. There is a yellow lizard in the garden, I guess he is harmless. He just likes to sit and watch the pool :) Staff is so friendly and they help us anytime we need.

The bathroom ceiling is glass and it is not completely closed, most of the time there were geckos in the shower but they escape when you make noise. Similarly even the windows and the doors are closed, there are gaps. So again a few geckos came inside. But when we tell the staff they immediately came and took them out, and checked the whole house.

Clean and well kept property. Room is provided with hairdryer, pool towels, 2 bottles of waters every day, comfortable bed and pillows and also an umbrella. The pool is nice and just outside the room. The place is quiet and 15-20min walking distance from the center. You can get breakfast and meals at the property but there are few cafes nearby. If you are vegetarian there is a nice Indian restaurant next door.

The pool water was sometimes not so clear. We used it anyway without any issues but it would be more inviting to have clear water.

We loved our stay at Chandi Hotel! The room was just as displayed in the photos, it was really lovely! The A/C worked great and we were so happy to have a room with a fridge! It had a big balcony (we had a room upstairs) the swimming pool was great, really clean and plenty of lounging areas around it. The staff were fantastic here too. Such amazing value for money!! It’s a little bit North from the main town but there are still convenience stores and cafes / restaurants around. Definitely doable walking to the main town but if you ride a scooter then you’ll get there in less than 5 minutes 😊

If I had to be fussy - our shower door didn’t close fully therefore a bit of water would go into the room but it wasn’t an issue at all! Cannot fault anything else!

+ It's not usual that villa is a part of a hotel, and you have a whole team to support your needs. The hotel staff was friendly, helpful and quite fast to react + The facilities were brand new, which is not a very common case in Bali + The villa was well-designed and spacious, comfortable to stay with kids too + Our requirements (providing extra tableware, changing bulb etc.) were processed smoothly + The breakfasts were not cheap but fresh and tasty + Wi-Fi connection was solid + The location is within 5-15 minutes ride from the major attractions of Ubud city, some great restaurants and spa in a walking distance

- The shower is 'tropical rain' only, and it is not very convenient if you want to keep your hair dry or to wash your body from a side (impossible) - The driveway to the hotel was challenging even for the experienced car drivers and there was barely enough space for a car to park - Occasional noise, but never a big deal

The rooms are very stylish and fully equipped with everything you might need. The beds are comfy, the chilling space by the wi doe is also top notch. There is enough space for your bags and clothes (something often overlooked by many hotels). The pool area is really cozy.

Nothing much. There was some inflexibility regarding room change which was a bit annoying but in general the staff was great and the place was fantastic value for money

This was a really lovely hotel. Hiring a scooter would be most people’s choice as this hotel is further out from the centre but we like walking so walked everywhere. The perfect pool to enjoy a dip after walking back from Ubud. The breakfast was delicious with plenty to choose from. The hotel even worked around our timings for when we came back from the Mount Batur sunrise hike. The beds are really comfortable and the aircon is powerful. Would stay here again!

The garden and pool look nice. Free breakfast buffet is good. Really enjoyed the omelette with vegetables. The staff is really nice and responsive.

We booked a superior room for three nights. On arrival we were led to a room located in a corner with no sun light and the room is full of mosquitoes. The staff helped with the mosquitoe issue by spraying the mosquito killer. On second day we request to change a room with more sun light. But we ended up in a room with four air conditioning machines outside against the wall, and the noise of the machine roared the whole night and I hardly slept. After further complained about the problem, we were switched to a nicer room.

The facilities were nice, so new and very clean. The hotel was situated 10m away from Ubud but there were some restaurants close to it, and it was extremely easy to find a Grab to move around. The staff was extremely kind and they answered our petitions very quickly and they're very efficient. We recommend it 100% if you want to stay in a nice, small, cozy hotel in Ubud.

Everything was fine. The breakfast could be better, but it was acceptable.
