everything, its a wonderful hotel and oasis in the middle of bali caotic calm. food is quite good, the pool area is a paradise, spa arrangements and bath was lovely, a dream. i cried when I arrived 😍😍

in front of the hotel pool, at the other side of the field are doing some huges constructions (other hotels or houses) which actually doesnt allow you to calm, its quite noisy. its a pity as you cannot really be calm at the pool during the day as a huge construction noises are taking place. the hotel cant do anything about it and I would recommend to go anyway. all bali is being on construction so you probably also will find this somewhere else. we had a nice bath during the night. the massage that we booked at the hotel was not the best. the hotel is not in the center or accesible by walk from ubud. this is important to know before comimg. they offer a private free shuttle every hour.

The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, the staff is super friendly, the food is tasty. The resort is situated in a beautifully landscaped garden. The hotel is offering a shuttle service to ubud downtown.

Not something the hotel has any influence on but currently there is a large construction site opposite the premises and unfortunately there is regular noise of hammering and drilling. Of course this will be temporary but when we had a lovely massage the ambiance of tranquillity and peace was heavily compromised.

The breakfasts were great. The views from the pool were cool. Staff was kind and helpful. Kids liked the open bathrooms (private). Small and intimate hotel.

Breakfast not offered early enough. Officially starts at 8 am but sometimes they were able to accommodate 7:30-7:45. Construction going on near spa so not relaxing until after 5 pm or so.

The staff are very welcoming and accommodating to requests. Beautiful open space at the Villa

The pool was too public being right in front of the restaurant. Would have loved it to be more secluded.

Booked for 2 nights and stayed for 4. We had an excellent stay at the Calma. Staff were amazing, room big & spacious and the bed was very comfortable. In addition to breakfast, we ate at the restaurant 3 times, trying different dishes each time. The ingredients used were all very fresh. I also availed of a 60 minute Balinese massage, which was amazing. We rented a scooter for 2 days for a very good price. Everything we needed could be provided for us by the incredible staff. My favourite part of the stay was breakfast by the pool every morning with a gorgeous view of greenery and foliage that Ubud is so famous for.

There was a bit of construction in the area.

Reception staff are great - remembered me from last time I stayed. I love the location - away from the hustle and bustle. I love the decor … the lights, the interior design, just gorgeous. The pool overlooking the tropical jungle is amazing!

I stayed here in 2019 and had a wonderful stay and memories of seeing ducks and their herder in the rice fields, it’s a shame there is now a new villa construction on the other side…not unusual for Bali I guess! Would be great to have a proper coffee machine, but there is a couple of nearby cafes that can meet the caffeine fix!

The atmosphere was homely, cozy, warm and we liked it. The breakfast was cooked personally, and good presentation and the taste. We booked over Christmas and they made effort for us to enjoy the occasion with some decoration which was nice. The semi-outdoor living room and bedrooms are well designed and spacious. We will come back to villa if we visit Ubud again.

I found a little over-priced for the villa. Perhaps we stayed during peak season which was over Christmas but still I found the price was little expensive for this small villa. The service could be better if they provide free shuttle more frequently to the Ubud centre. It's located outskirts and not easy to find a cab/taxi in the area to get around.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We loved the location- it being away from the hustle of Ubud, along a street dotted with rice fields. Breakfast was very good and we loved the pool and the Balinese massages on-site.

The mattress was on the hard side, however the room was very clean and spacious. Aircon worked really well. And we loved how quiet it was.

The hotel is like a little paradise in Ubud, close to the centre but far enough from its noisy traffic offering a serene and relaxing ambience. The room was immaculate, styled with modern decor and food served during breakfast and dinner was expectional, always so fresh and tasty! Our favourite spot was definitely the pool area where we could enjoy the beautiful view and hear all the different nature sounds. The staff are very welcoming, polite and helpful especially while they were dealing with the airport because of my lost luggage. We had the most wonderful time and would highly recommend it.

The hotel provides a shuttle to the city and it is very convenient, the have tie up for many attractions around and its fairly priced so you can book with them directly. The staff is super accommodative and were happy to help as required

The pool is pretty small. Not many vegetarian option at the property. I found the bed a bit too soft, but that could be a personal preference
