Friendly staff that were attentive and quick in handling requests or helping arrange tuktuks or transportation. The location is about 5 minutes further walking from the main square in Port Barton but we enjoyed being in a more quiet area. You are then also closer to White Beach and Coconut beach. The room itself had all the basic needs, was clean and nicely decorated. The garden is beautiful which makes sitting outside also a pleasure.

Nothing it all met our expectations.

Small boutique villa type accommodation - modern clean and comfortable. Very friendly helpful staff and owner who can book boat tours around Port Barton and onward bus tickets. Scooter/motorbike available for hire. Laundry able to be done onsite for very small cost. Breakfast available with good selection. Good location- 5min walk to beach and restaurants.

Lovely and clean villa within walking distance to the restaurants and beach of Port Barton. The location was super quiet.

It wasn’t a massive issue for us, but our villa was separate down a very muddy track which wouldn’t be great if you had a lot of luggage or issues walking. But there was a tap outside for cleaning feet and shoes :)

Well located. Surrounded by great bars and restaurants. Everything within walking distance in a few minutes.

We only had a small communication problem with the booking of our island hopping tour, which stressed us out in the morning. We had asked several times if the shared tour with only 3-4 stops was possible and it was confirmed to us several times that the tour we booked would only have 3-4 stops. We then booked a private tour on the beach because the shared tour had six stops. It cost us time and nerves, I think that was a one-off thing, but I wanted to mention it.

The property was adorable and clean and just great! The staff were awesome! They helped my friend and I get into a last minute tour! Even more the next morning my friend was sick they got her a refund and checked on her regularly to make sure that she was okay while providing her with food for her stomach! We felt so taken care of there and I would go back in a heartbeat! Also it was a very easy walk to the beach, restaurants and the transportation center!!

Amazing welcoming, nice, friendly, and helpful ladies. Helped us with transportation, motor rental, trips. Bungalows super clean and very comfortable, tucked away in a perfectly kept garden with some lounge beds and friendly dogs and cats. Very centrally located, short walk to beach and plenty of diner options in the area.

Room was great, very clean and comfortable, good value for money- we would have stayed longer but they were booked out! We had such a great stay and would stay again for sure - they gave us clean towels every day which was a treat

Path to our room was flooded and very muddy but i guess you can’t help the weather sometimes

Very clean , beautiful area of Port Barton. Lovely rooms beautifully decorated wich invite you to unwind. Amazing breakfast and services with very helpful advice, recommendations, and the chance of booking amazing days out with the accommodation directly. The best of all was the team . Valerie and her team are the most amazing and genuine people we met during our time in the Philippines. Always made us laugh, and we had a great time on rainy days just chatting/chilling with them. If you are staying in Port Barton, do not hesitate! 1000% recommended.

We loved every bit of it.

Atmosphere. Secluded.

People’s negative comments about the place. Yes, the street is muddy after a rainfall or during rainy season. But it’s not Valerie’s fault. If you can’t cope with such issues stay at home. And yes there may be a power cut once in a while.

Valerie's place is a gem. Everything about it exceeded expectations. The rooms are cozy, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. The garden is a beautiful thing to wake up to each morning. The staff are always on hand for fresh water and anything else you need. Valerie is kind and funny, and her dogs are very friendly too. Thanks for such a great stay. Highly recommended to anyone.

The only criticism is the Wifi signal is weak - but I think the owner is aware of this and hopefully intends to fix it somehow.
