Surf Riders offers a great base for exploring Corralejo. The hostel is conveniently located near the beach and shops, making it easy to get around. The rooms are a decent size and have plenty of space for storage. The breakfast was enjoyable and the terraces were a nice place to relax. The staff were friendly and helpful, and there was a good range of services available.

The shared bathroom could be improved. There was a slight plumbing smell and the tub was a bit rusty. It was also inconvenient to wait to use the bathroom when other guests were showering. The room downstairs was very hot, even with the window open. The fan wasn't working, which made it a little uncomfortable to sleep.

I like that there are several separate houses where you share a kitchen with not too many people (at least when you're not in the main house). The cleaners are there almost every day, so the bathroom is always clean with fresh mats and towels. The people at the reception are always friendly and help you with whatever you need. The breakfast doesn't have a big variety but fresh fruits, juices, cereals and croissants. I think the hostel is definitely worth the price. I love that you can store your luggage and have a shower after your check out for free!

There is only one sunbed at one pool, where you can lie in the sun and chill. And the beach is a 25min walk away. Would be nice to have a place at the hostel to chill in the sun after surf. The matress was not very comfortable. I had a small room, which was enough for me. Something (like a hook) to hang the towel would be nice though.

Nice geust house with mostly surfers staying. There are several buildings. Can use kitchen, fridge for free. Big sitting erea, friendly staff, they organize social events every other night, like pizza night, tapas etc 5 mins from bus stop, big supermarket across the road, beach is 7 mins walk away. At the edge of the complex, so quiet at night. Great breakfast, in general, would stay again

The bathroom was private, but had to go out of room to general hall and open door with the key. A bit inconvenient at night/early morning. 2 big construction sites around. They start to work early.

The value for money was amazing. A choice of two pools. Great location. Fabulous breakfast choices. Friendly staff. Having stayed in some much more expensive hostels in the past, this was simply incredible how much you got for so little money1

2 small wrinkles. EXTREMELY squeaky beds. Even rolling over was very noisy and disturbed each other. As for any other activities that might make the bed squeak... It would have been far too noisy ;) We booked the private bathroom, which we received, BUT we were disappointed to have to go out of our room into a communal hallway to access it. We would recommend the owners put a lockable door on the end of the small hallway which would enable to have some privacy when going to the bathroom in the middle of the night, instead of having to find a bathrobe and unlock and relock the doors as you could lock the outer door and leave the bedroom and bathroom doors unlocked.

I had a nice room with a balcony and a private bathroom. I also had access to the property's kitchen, and the location of the accommodation was really good. It was only about a 3-minute walk to the shopping center with a good supermarket, and it was about a 25-minute walk from the city center. I really liked the fact that the hosts were organizing occasional social events and other attractions. The staff was very helpful and informative.

There was a big construction site opposite my window, so it was very noisy from 8am, but obviously, it isn't the fault of Surf Riders. Once the construction is done, it should be quiet again. Also, some visitors were very loud at night, but again, that was on the street, so not the property's fault. I couldn’t find any remote to the rooms tv but it was that important to me I’ve really missed the boiled eggs for breakfast as they were not in the selection...

The location is great only a short walk from the hostel shops bars and restaurants short walk to the main strip everything you need to be comfortable plus nice fresh food at breakfast and a lovely hostel rep on reception Lovely private balcony and private room private bathroom all lockable and clean

There is building work during the week around the hostel. Major building work of a hotel lots of dust meaning during week not great to relax round the pool Not the hostels fault A few ants in the room but I get that it's a hot country

The vibe. The staff is wonderful and really make efforts to make your stay like home away from home. I was there for Christmas and they organised a dinner and met many people there. It’s super clean, really well organised ( food trays in cupboards and fridge with your room name, etc). Great social areas: main room, swimming pool, table tennis, roof terrace. It has it all! Also having a room for myself was a treat.

Some may find that is not right in the centre of town it is 10-15 minutes walk from it, but for me was a great excuse to walk to have dinner in the centre and it’s also walking distance from Flag beach which is great.

Staff is super nice and welcoming. Breakfast is good and accommodates vegan/vegetarian options - if you have any special needs the staff can help you. Social activities are organized/suggested almost daily.

We were staying in the basement room and is was not very sound proof, if someone was in the common areas we could hear them talk, cook, etc. We would also have appreciated more hooks/shelves around the room as there was one wardrobe on one side of the room only making it difficult for two people to store their things at the same time.

Beautiful rooms with great shared places, lots of services, friendly staff and a good breakfast.

There is a construction site in front of the rooms, so be prepared to wake up at 7.30 if you are a light sleeper. It was not possible to have double bed sheets, but that's a common issue in most of the Canaries. Both the bidet and the main light in the room were not working. The lock of the balcony door window didn't work either. I'm sure they would have fixed these issues if we stayed more than one night because the staff was exceptional. Despite all of that it was still a 10 out of 10 from a quality/cost perspective.

- the room had all that was needed, big wardrobe, bathroom with a window for ventilation, small balcony (more for drying things than using as a balcony because of no particular view) - there was a really big terrace that we were not expecting with hangers to dry your cloths/towels, there was also a really nice pool area that were were not expecting as well as the common space (salon) and the kitchen with all you needed!! All those things were shared between us two and the people from another room in the same small house (I guess the property is made of many small houses that all look the same) so it felt like we had a looot of space!! Almost just for ourselves - there was a free breakfast for everyone (sandwiches, coffee, pancakes, yogurt, juice etc) which was great too!! - you could rent the surf equipment for a really good price too

- the location seemed to be in the middle of nowhere, but there were some supermarkets nearby, and if you had a car you could get to the center in 5’ and to the really nice beach in 5’ too but still.. it’s not a walking area, to get somewhere more interesting you probably will need a car (which is ok in the end) - there was a bit of the noise in the morning from the giant construction right across the street
