The staff were very friendly and helpful, we had a few requests and they happily obliged them. The room was nice and cosy and the bed was very comfortable. There were free warm beverages and cookies available all day around, and the coffee and the cookies were really nice. The breakfast was delicious with a lot of choice for everyone. All around a very nice and pleasant stay!

The heating in the room could've been a bit more warmer. And this is probably just my personal preference, but I didn't really like the shower, it has no tub and it's in the same level as the bathroom floor so it can get a bit wet.

The staff at the hotel always tried very hard to do a good job. This was particularly noticeable at breakfast and at reception. The breakfast was great, there were even vegan and lactose-free alternatives. The bread was extremely tasty. We were warmly welcomed by Nikita at reception. Apparently check-in doesn't start until 3 p.m. Even though we were there early and our room wasn't ready yet, he was able to offer us another room. At the hotel bar in the evening we were surprised that Nikita not only works at the reception, but is also a bartender. But he did his job very well here too, we had a nice evening at the bar.

We found a half eaten Bifi in the room, when we first walked in. Despite of that, it was clean and we had nothing to complain about the hygiene. What was quite annoying is that the screws of the Toilet-closing were not on their place anymore and we often had the doorknob in our hand without the door. But well, it's a nice hotel and we were really impressed by the view at the see from the window of our cabin.

Really liked breakfast, food was tasty and of good quality. Location is excellent, just 10-15 minutes walk to the city center. Nice thing is that they provide coffee, tea, cookies and water with different flavours all day long, until the very late evening. Bathroom in my room was just recently renovated, room is a bit older, but still in good condition. There's an access to a sundeck, I liked to sit there on a sofa with a cup of tea after a long day in the city. Personal is very polite and helpful.

Although I liked breakfasts overall, would be nice to add some variety in it during the week, felt like it's almost the same with very little changes

The hotel is really comfortable, warm and clean. The rooms are a bit on the small side, but the bed was perfect for us and the bathroom was small but modern. The staff were exceptionally friendly. The restaurant serves a really nice buffet breakfast every morning, the evening restaurant food (which you can buy separately) was a simple menu but honestly surprising how delicious the food is. We ate there twice and were really satisfied. Also, there is free tea, coffee and biscuits all day and we took advantage of that a lot. This hotel was not very expensive for the city, but was such a gem of a find that we would go back to Gothenburg just to stay there again!

The city is currently under a lot of construction, so it's a bit of a wander through building sites at the moment. This isn't the fault of the hotel, but something to note. Also, it's an actual ship, so when it was really windy it started to rock back and forth, and we came back one evening and it was leaning to one side so we could feel the slope in the floor as we walked around inside. It's not a terrible thing, but it is something to be aware of if that kind of boat movement can bother you. It isn't violent or anything but it is definitely noticeable in bad weather. As a British person, there is no kettle in the room, but the free tea and coffee in the restaurant is a good consolation.

We went to drop our bags from the airport and we got to check in early which was great, room was nice and warm, free tea/coffee and snack available at all times, small bar, room was comfortable, bed was comfortable, great shower too. Breakfast had a good selection, bread, fruit, cereals, yoghurt, cold meat, cheese, hot food(eggs, bacon, beans, sausages), tea/coffee, juices, couldn't ask for more. Looking out at the water at breakfast was lovely.

The location is about 15 minutes walk from the centre, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, it just felt very far at night. There didn't seem to be much around, mostly office buildings. Quite a distance from a shop.

The BREAKFAST is AMAZING! It is so huge and the staff are very friendly while serving. We loved the variety of the foods and alternative options. Thank you! The shower was nice and hot and the staff were very understanding and helpful and always greeted us with a smile, ready to offer suggestions or help. Free cookies and freedom to hang out in the dining room at any time. 24 hour desk service.

The only thing that was hard was that the boat is moving, just slightly rocking back and forth all the time. I wasn't aware of this when I booked and fortunately it didn't affect me too much, but I could see how some people may feel sick. The room was quite tight for 3 people but otherwise very clean. The location is a bit tricky if you have difficulty walking longer distances, such as to get dinner, but there is a bus stop right in front which made things easier!

Was put off with the new motorway works going on around it, but it was quiet and peaceful and central (less than 5 min walk) to the central station. Very good base for sightseeing. Staff were helpful, room was functional, bed and bedding were spotlessly clean and very, very comfortable. Well decorated, smart hallways and entranceway. Reasonably priced, had everything we needed.

Little bit jaded looking on outside, windows could be doing with a clean, but that is only fault. wasnt sure where to access the outdoor areas, or the free tea and coffee. I would have asked but we were using it strictly as somewhere to sleep while we visited friends in the city, for this it was perfect.

The location had easy parking right in front of the ship; however, the parking is totally full every morning because of the office workers around the hotel. Still, when we arrived in the evening to check in, it was nearly empty. The breakfast buffet was really excellent. The variety of foods, including foods for lactose intolerant people and vegans, was exceptional. There was a nice little patio where we could play card games and gaze out onto the canal. We rented bicycles right outside the ship and rode them into the city. The location was perfect for walking or biking.

Of course, the cabins are small because it is a ship. Our cabin faced the street, so we missed the view of the water. There was a lot of ongoing construction that made it difficult to find the ship, but this is temperary (August 2024).

Staying on a moored ship is a fun alternative to a 'proper' hotel room for a few nights. Additionally, the staff were extremely kind and helpful, and the breakfast is very good indeed. The availability of free tea, coffee and various waters all day is a nice touch. We were also lucky with our weather, meaning we could sit out on the sun deck of the ship and enjoy sunsets, watching the boats pass by etc for hours.

I mean... they are cabins. So they are not going to be spacious. Don't bring large suitcases; there is nowhere to put them. And I probably wouldn't stay here for more than a couple of nights - or if my intention was to spend time in the hotel, rather than seeing the city. This is a base for activity, not a destination in itself. Having said which, the rooms are perfectly adequate, and well planned to make the best use of the small space available.

The hotel was basic and very clean. Amazing value for money. Staff were helpful and polite. The hotel is located on the river. However there is a lot of building work going on between the hotel and the city centre. Nothing you will see or hear from the hotel. Once that area has been redeveloped, the hotel will be in a brand new area of the city. I have been coming to Sweden for 15 years, sometimes 4 times a year. This was my first time in Gothenburg. I genuinely thought there was an error in the price as it was the price of a basic hotel in UK. I am used to Sweden being expensive for everything compared to most places…. Except Norway! Oh and always lots of hire bikes and scooters just outside due to an office block. Was very quiet at night, with comfortable beds.
