The location was amazing! Walking distance to quite a few popular sights and lots of restaurants in the neighborhood. The amenities were great to have such as laundry, gym and kitchen. The bed was comfortable and the room was nicely decorated. It was a very comfortable stay!

The refrigerator was a bit loud that we ended up unplugging it. The city noise didn’t bother us but the main room door could be better sound proofed. When the other guests are loud in the hallway it could be quite annoying.

We absolutely loved everything about Sonder Cielo. Our stay already began with the smoothest pickup service from the airport. Booking/Sonder gave us the option to book the transport from the airport to the hotel for free. The driver contacted as via WhatsApp when we were still in New York. He had our flight times and flight number. He texted again when we touched down in CDMX (at the airport you have free wifi) and was at the pick up area when we left the airport building. We have never experienced a smoother pickup ever before, it was perfectly organized. So thank you very much for that. The apartment is absolutely gorgeous. Very spacious, with a lot of daylight. The interior is super nice and modern and everything was extremely clean. The bed is super super comfortable, the kitchen is fully equipped (!) and the bathroom has everything you need (the shower is spacious). You can fill up your water bottles in the gym on level A (there is a water station) and there is a full laundry room also on level A. You get the entrance code for the building and for your room in advance and that worked perfectly fine. Also the wifi at Sonder was good. So a perfect apartment to live in, cook in, stay in. And now the best part: IT’S LOCATION. It could not have been any better for us. We wanted to explore the neighborhoods Roma Norte and Condesa (both are absolutely gorgeous btw). And Sonder Cielo is located perfectly for that. You have fantastic restaurants and plenty of coffee shops basically around the corner. There is a small deli “OXXO” that has food and snacks. As mentioned in the beginning, we absolutely loved everything about our stay. We can HIGHLY recommend.

Not sure why this place doesn't have higher reviews. Don't let it put you off! Everything about our stay at Sonder Cielo was perfect. Excellent location for exploring Mexico city and located a safe neighbourhood with lots of great food options. Heaps of friendly, attentive staff and security around all the time. Room amenities were top notch! Had everything you needed, just like being at home, kettle, iron and ironing board toaster, large fridge and freezer, air conditioning in both rooms, 2 large smart tvs with chrome cast too, stove and lots of pans, coffee machine nespresso and pods, HEAPS of storage for clothes and food. Comfortable large beds and good pillows. Great and easy and free washing facilities! Gym! Terrace! Not sure what more people could want from accommodation. We arrived at 2am and immediately felt safe and welcome. Communication before and during the trip was excellent and easy.

Perhaps noise from the street might be annoying on a lower level, I am noise sensitive and always ask for an upper level room, which they gave me. They also supplied ear plugs but I couldn't hear much from level 10. Some car honking and sirens but only during the day. They also dont service the room every day but i didnt mind, its more like an airbnb or your own apartment.

What didn’t I like — I liked that it was high rise and I didn’t have issues with street noise as I did at the last place I had to switch out of. In the room it said there’s a noise muffle machine though I didn’t see one, which was fine, because the AC unit worked to that effect. It’s modern, upkept, they have free laundry services with soap provided. It’s like a long stay type of hotel so they have a little kitchen area complete with dishes, pan, utensils, etc though I didn’t do any cooking. It’s also a 15 min walk to the downtown Reforma area. The staff is also super useful and it always smelled nice in the common areas.

There was no housekeeping at all — in fact, the only time I saw one was when I was checking out. They have a broom in the room and have instructions to take the trash down to the trash area, which is a bit confusing because is this a hotel or am I renting an apt?? There are way too many little lights that shine and blink at night — for the microwave I just turned off the display but the other ones were more than a little distracting. Also, I asked if I could check in about 3 hrs early and they quoted me a price to do so, which to be honest, in all my travel I’ve never had. It’s only a few hours later that they offered to hold my luggage in their luggage area but I had already made other arrangements. The internet also wasn’t stable my last two days, I’d say about a 7/10 on that.

The staff was wonderful and very easy to reach for any need via the app! We enjoyed the location, ambiance, and customer service! We look forward to staying here again (or another Sonder property elsewhere!)

We communicated what we didn’t love with the property, but in case anyone else comes across this… we booked a specific room we wanted and then requested an earlier check in. We didn’t know that would put us in a completely different room layout and were not informed of that change until we arrived to the room. We ultimately enjoyed the room but were disappointed in the lack of communication, as we were looking forward to being in a room that we booked (studio balcony vs 2-bedroom no balcony).

The room was very large, clean and comfortable. Sounds like a small thing, but a lot of thought went into the placement of the light switches which I appreciated. The bed was super comfortable. Fantastic amenities too - free laundry!

As others mentioned, the refrigerator had a loud, high-pitched noise that was very annoying. We ended up unplugging it for our stay. The shower was also a little annoying - it took awhile for the cold water to kick in.

It was very comfortable, clean room, and friendly staff. Location was amazing too, close to boutiques, cafes, and tube station, I could feel safe walking around. Also we had two bed rooms, so both of us could stay like our own home. Laundry and dryer were free, perfect for long stay. Definitely recommend.

The apartment was comfortable, quiet and well-equipped. We appreciated having the convenience of the laundry room. Loved the view from our 5th floor unit. Perfect location too, near restaurants and the metro. We were very happy with our choice to stay at Sonder Cielo.

So minor, but it would have been nice to have a mirror in addition to the one in the bathroom. Everything else was great.

Modern apartment, fully equipped with everything needed incl. smal kitchen. Everything was super clean. Roof terrace, gym and laundry room are great.

Requested 2pm check out one month prior to allow our 2 year old to take a quick nap before heading to the airport. After several messages the request remained pending and we never got an answer.

Good location, very helpful and reactive service before and while staying, good space within. Beautiful view, once understood the app is quite useful.

The shower could be a little bit more comfortable, the check-in through the app demands some efforts at the beginning and is unusual.
