The location was excellent, and there was a short walk to the beach. Grocery store maybe 2 blocks away. Oxxo around the corner. There are so many great restaurants nearby. Super vibe, I'll take Puerto Morelos over Cancun and their extortionist cab drivers any day. Daily breakfast was included. That was a big-time saver. The room had a kitchenette. Hotel staff very friendly and accommodating.

There was a problem with the toilet, number 22, and we were moved to a new room the following day. The pool area was small, 2 loungers, but that was good enough for us. The owner should consider taking out the small garden area and replace it with 6 loungers, which allows more sunshine to the area, and it would be perfect.

The property is located in a very active area with shops, restaurants and everything you need. The breakfast is great to start the day. The pool is not necessary great for lounging but a nice cool dip on a hot day. The beach warf and central plaza are a short distance walk. Our room was spacious with a refrigerator to keep some drinks and food. There was limited parking but it worked for us. All in all a nice stay. I’d go back in a heartbeat. Oh on the top floor there’s a nice place to hang out.

The bathroom drain shower drain had a bit of odor. Cover it with a baggie. It’s common.

Spacious room with a balcony overlooking the pool and trees—the Junior Suite. Balcony had table and chairs and lights. Pleasant to sit and read. Close to center ( 2 blocks) in restaurant area on Gomez. Interior pool looked inviting but never tested, cleaned daily, and had chaise lounge chairs and swing double chair to relax there.

The breakfast left out was poor, more like a motel in USA that includes breakfast. We ate out despite it being included in the room price. No coffee maker or coffee in the Junior Suite.

The authentic decor was lovely, the room was very clean, breakfast was good and staff were friendly. The AC was cold and the hot water was hot! The curtains helped with keeping most of the light out of the room. The rooftop terrace has a view of the ocean and was a great place to have morning coffee.

Our bed in room 25 was too hard for our liking and the futon mattress needs to be replaced as the stuffing was coming out.

We liked the big garden and how spread out the rooms were. The room was comfortable. The hotel is super close to the beach!

We didn't realize that the hotel was facing a music bar that stayed open until 2-3am, it was so loud it was hard to sleep before that time. The swimming pool, dining room and garden area are full of mosquitoes, not the hotel's fault of course but good to know in case you are sensitive to them...

It's a lovely older hotel with nice rooms around a garden and small pool. Lovely staff, clean and quiet in the centre of town next to lots of cafes, restaurants & gift shops.

The breakfast was ok. Not real juice, fresh fruit was nice. If you're a vegetarian you have to ask for eggs made without ham in. When they understood they were happy to make some for us.

I loved the large room, the beds were really comfortable, the old style building and internacional garden. And the little pool was sweet, my kids loved it. The breakfast options were good, I liked the rotating options of hot foods (eggs, beans, vegetables). It was also diverse with selection of toast, fruits, pastries, yoghurts, teas. The room was a generous size and I loved that we had a kitchen/lounge and a separate bedroom since we were with my small children it meant I could put them to bed and then hang out in the other room. The staff were all very friendly and responsive. It really was amazing value for the cost, really lovely place, also very convenient walking to restaurants and supermarkets. Very easy amd safe with kids. The photos online really don't do it justice, one big suggestion to the hotel would be to update their photos!

We were at the front of the hotel above the restaurants and from mid week there is loud music. It does finish btw 9pm and 11pm depending on the day so not that bad but it definitely bothered us at times. There are plenty of rooms at the back of the property though that may not get the same level of noise. The kitchenette could have had a couple of other cooking utensils.. But I never asked for extra things - perhaps they were available on request.

Everything! Great price point location, ambience, rooms, gardens, and staff. Nearby restaurants and secure parking were a plus!

2 evenings, the hotel was locked down earlier than the posted 12 midnight. One evening, there were a total of 10 guests outside pounding on the door like a Monty Python movie, myself included. It took 20 minutes to wake a guest who alerted the night watchman. It was only 11:20 pm. Otherwise, thumbs up on everything else!

First of all, exceptional staff. Very responsive with messages, but also kind and were very proactive in terms of helping track down our delayed luggage. Overall, fantastic value for the cost. Close to restaurants, supermarkets, taxis, the beach, ATMs, activity providers. Large room and lovely little pool for cooling off. Very much enjoyed the breakfasts that had enough diversity from day to day. Excellent coffee. Wonderful touch that filtered water was supplied. It was perfect for our stay.

Sometimes an off smell in the bathroom (keep the shower floor cover on). Lots of mosquitos. A bit rundown so perhaps needs some renovation.

Perfect location in the heart of Puerto Morelos, 150m from the beach and boats harbor in a calm street with windows, facing internal garden. Good, helpful staff, good breakfast, good internet. We were lucky to park a car behind the hotel, the staff helped us with this.

There was no hairdryer anywhere in the hotel. Girls will miss it. Mosquitos around, be careful.
