Nice hotel an friendly staff. I can Recommend it to everyone!

That there is no closet or anything similar where you can store your things. But it looks like it is normal in Japan.

Our family of four (2 adults and 2 children, ages 9 and 4) had a great experience. The staff are generally friendly and speak English. A variety of complimentary drinks are available. There is a children’s area with a variety of activities to keep them occupied, such as educational toys, books, and coloring materials. The room is generally clean. The toilet and shower are separated. The toilet seat is heated, and even lifting the seat is controlled by the touch of a button. You get exactly what you see in the photos uploaded by the management or other travelers. The air conditioning was excellent, especially considering I'm from a very hot country! They provided 2 sets of pajamas for adults (which fit me, even though I wear 2XL). They also have an iron and lint remover available (though it looks more like it’s intended for carpets). The nearest station is Hommachi Station, which is about a 10-minute walk. We didn’t find it far, as we enjoyed exploring the area. Convenience stores (7-Eleven and 2 Family Marts) are within walking distance. We stayed on the 6th floor, where a centralized microwave and ice machine are available. Washing machines and dryers are available, with English instructions provided. The hotel also offers coin-operated machines. Towels are changed every day. Linens can be changed daily as well—just place the card on the bed. The TV channels were all in Japanese, and it would have been nice to have access to options like Netflix or at least the ability to Chromecast from our devices. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay!

We moved to this hotel after booking a NIGHTMARE hotel next to Dotonburi (OneFine Namba... run...). This place is a dream come true. The staff were AMAZING and agreed to show us a room before we paid (so in total we actually saw all 4 vacant rooms). All of them were beautiful. Big beds. Super clean. Enough floor room for 2 large suitcases. A free drink every evening is a nice bonus. Please keep in mind this is about 40 minutes from Dotonburi, and about 30 minutes from Osaka station; so you will need to have your walking shoes ready. I will be staying here again next visit.

2 complaints from other travelers are partially true; 1. The 'drain' smell from the bathroom can exist, but is a non issue. This is a side effect of leaving the extractor fan on, when not showering, you're pulling air past the water traps. Turn off the extractor fan, and literally ZERO issues. 2. Freeway noise. Yeah OK, a little. The lower levels are below the freeway cement wall, and are totally silent Rooms on levels higher up, are above the freeway, and yes, you will hear cars. They're absolutely not loud though. Emergency vehicles can be pretty loud, but they're still quiet enough that you don't need to alter your level of speech, or TV volume.

Location, location location. This is really my main reason why I came to stay again at Hotel Androoms for the 3rd time! It is very convenient. 5 mins walk at the subway station for Blue Line and 7 mins walk for the Red line. Many convenient stores are also nearby as well as this pharmacy/supermarket at exit 28. Moreover, restaurants too. The room are quite large compared to other rooms in other hotels in Japan. I really like their bed and pillow, it is not too soft not too hard but I always ended up sleeping so comfortably. Amenities are provided and if you need an iron for your clothes, you just need to request it. Staff are also all very helpful!! I want to thank them all during my 11 night stay. They were very friendly and always helpful. They try their best to communicate in English even though it is not their first language. The price per night is quite decent, but better to book it months in advance. One key note to remember is that they give rate per person not per room! I will surely stay again at this hotel once I go back to Japan.

The choices of the breakfast. They could have added more choices into it but I understand this is also part of the minimalist thingy. Only this I can comment on for improvement.

Bigger room than expected; the two twin beds were both big singles or small doubles. The bathroom was clean and fairly spacious and the shower was excellent. The included breakfast was odd but enjoyable - no buffet, just a preselected choice of 4 plates, plus tea/coffee/juice. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Good value for money for Osaka, and a good location for transport - three metro lines very close, and the castle and main station and Dotomburi are walkable if you enjoy exercise (c45 minutes each).

The room wasn't freshened on the days we didn't ask for the bedding to be changed (no vacuuming, no bins emptied, no old towels removed) though new towels were hung on the door. There was no English language TV - there was CNN, but dubbed into Japanese!

Great location, within reasonable walking distance to Dotonbori (roughly 30 mins), with a metro station nearby. Quiet surrounding area, with plenty of local eateries nearby. Friendly staff, we were able to leave our luggage arriving several hours before check in. Spacious twin room which had ample floor space to move around and handle several cases and bags of luggage. The beds were super comfortable, the room was clean with a nice bathroom, with good shower pressure. Free refreshments during the day.

No real complaints or issues during our stay

The hotel is not very close to Osaka tourist attractions, including nightlife areas such as Namba and Dotonbori. It however, next to Utsubo park, which is worth for a relaxing visit, especially the very beautiful Rose Garden inside the park. Hotel facility is at standard with other hotel in Japan, which is nothing to complain. The room is spacious, with 2 double bed that can fit for the family of 4 people. Breakfast is free, although it is simple with cold food, but the hot soup serving is good. There is micro waive and ice available on 3rd and 6th floor for guest to use.

Nothing to complain for hotel. Just to comment on Osaka metro system. It takes you a lot of time to go underground and board to intended metro train, and when you get off the train, it continue to take you another more time to get to your correct exit gate. Therefore, I would recommend you to walk to the destination, if the walking distance is <3km, as it will be the same time go by metro...

I booked the property among the many choices in Osaka because it’s considerably close to the city center, looks modern and bright and clean in the picture, and the price is reasonable. I got all really delivered! My big family really like how comfortable and spotless clean the place is. The bed setup with some wooden stage is really something fresh. But when I stayed here, what stood out the most is the staffs’ hospitality, English fluency, and expertise in handling so many cases of their visitors. In my visit, we suddenly had an emergency situation on the night of April 14, where one of my family member requires quick ambulance call to the ER. The on duty staff quickly helped us and within 5 minutes, the ambulance and accompanying taxi came. They even had it freer for us to deliver food as my family members was too tired to go out and wanted to eat some porridge. They also handled reveiving luggages delivery and sending them to our next hotel really really well. We ended up staying 2 more nights in the hotel and was very satisfied with the overall premises and hospitality. I would definitely stay in androoms again when I visit Japan, hopefully you can maintain the property as clean as it is today!

It was our most spacious stay during our Japan trip. Comfortable beds, very good hot shower and bath. Kettle in the room, microwave is available in Level 6 common area. Breakfast included - just 4 options, not each of them available every day - need to order a day ahead. Average quality. Just 5 min walking away from the red metro line. We are very happy with this hotel in general - comfort and value for money.

The beds were really comfortable, stylish design in the apartment, good double glazed windows for sound proofing and the staff were really friendly. The location was also great, it’s in a quieter area away from the hectic busyness of Osaka city and there’s lots of cute shops, cafes, parks and restaurants near the hotel. I would definitely stay again if I visited Osaka.

The bathroom smelt a bit damp in the rooms, they do provide a dehumidifier but I think it needs a deep clean. There’s was a bit of dust on the walls and surfaces from the air conditioning
