Loved Candidasa and would certainly return to Segara. Awesome,well kept room and excellent staff. As an 'activities all day, every day' type, my stay was fantastic If you are one of those 'lay around the pool' types, there is a small army of staff waiting to tend to your every whim....downside is pretty steep prices on snacks and drinks- gotta pay for that small army somehow. I only ate there once; the food was excellent but the portion size was super small. Similarly, the minibar could send you broke; 4 bucks for a teeny weeny can of Coke....stop in to the Gemini store across the street and get a week's stock of snacks and drinks for 15.... BTW.... best picks for eating out?? Joglo and Vincent's

The facility is wonderful. It's very understated, which I love.

Since their access to the beach is dangerous and they have not decided to invest in making it better, the deny access to the beach, and they don't tell you prior to booking. I was extremely disappointed. Make sure to check first.

Clean comfortable room. A very nice pool and chairs around the pool. We could get food and drink service there also. The staff was very kind and friendly and met all my needs. Food was great too! I would stay there again.

What a wonderful place! This is an excellent hotel. The room is very spacious and equipped with everything you need. The food in the hotel restaurant is delicious, including breakfast. The view can be estimated from the photos, it's great. The most important thing is the highest level of service. Each employee is as friendly as possible and ready to help. Everyone smiles so contagiously that you smile yourself. Keep in mind that the area is quite calm and if you are looking for parties until the morning, this is not the place. If you, like me, are looking for peace and want to relax, this place is perfect. Thank you very much! I sincerely hope that I will return to this hotel again. With great respect, Yauheni.

The location was excellent, staff were very attentive, our room was large and comfortable. The pool was superb and the food was wonderful. In fact, we felt so much at home that we rarely left the hotel, which is rare for us as we love sightseeing.We have been to Candidasa previously, so we just decided to enjoy the hotel. The Sagara Candidasa really did exceed our expectations.

We had booked an airport transfer and they forgot to send a car. We just arranged another transfer.

Wonderful friendly staff, beautiful seaview pool and restaurant. Yummy food and love the cocktails!! Super comfy bed and pillows! Will definitely stay here again!

The pool area right on the ocean is spectacular. Enjoying breakfast on the deck overlooking the ocean was very special every morning and the attentive and kind staff made it incredibly memorable. The rooms are spacious, clean, well designed with crisp linen and fluffy white towels. Almost unique these days in Bali so it was much appreciated! We were upgraded to a premier suite during our stay which was lovely as it had a big bathtub and lots of hot water but we almost preferred the privacy of the standard room as it’s on the first floor with a little balcony whilst the premier room is on ground floor which means all other guests and staff are constantly walking past your room and terrace to get to the pool area. Overall we loved our stay and will definitely return!

The only negative was that the food was a little disappointing. Breakfast offering is massive! So much to choose from but the taste is a little bland and could be improved upon.

Great location - close to minimarts, laundry , money changer. Very clean - spacious room. The pool was fabulous- great view and never crowded. Excellent service from staff - all very professional and friendly. Breakfast was good - decent choice and cocktails were great. I really enjoyed our stay and would recommend a stay to anyone visiting candidasa. Across the road from the best doughnuts too 👍

The water pressure wasn’t great in our room -sometimes stopped during our shower. Still managed. Unfortunately being near the beach flies were an issue at meals. Needs a fly zapper or other deterrents as it ruined our enjoyment. Smokers below our room made it hard for us to enjoy the balcony or open the balcony door. But these were not deal breakers as we still loved our stay.

We loved this hotel. We had a fabulous huge room on the ground floor not far from the pool. This is a small boutique hotel with just 20 rooms which is lovely. Beautiful pool area with an infinity pool onto the water. There is not a lot in Candi Dasa which suited us fine. There are a few restaurants and shops, people usually go here to relax or diving. The prices of food at the local restaurants was similar to the hotel prices so we ended up eating up in the hotel for our 3 day stay (something we rarely do!) The food at the hotel was delicious and well priced. They have a cocktail happy hour from 4-6pm each day. The staff seem very young and they are keen to provide good service. We will definitely come back to this hotel.

There are massage places near by, but it would be good to be able to have one at the hotel. The menu is good and the food is great, but they need to keep supplies up so everything on the menu is available. Also, the oven was broken while were were there so that also took a few items off the menu. These are just small things that only slightly impacted our stay. We really loved the hotel.

The path to ground floor rooms is very dangerous, need to put a proper path here. Beds are too low with sharp wood corners and bed not too comfy, needs to be addressed. Also tv didn’t work our whole stay. Need to be more western channels too.eg Australian tv. Reading lamps would be handy as dark rooms.
