What I liked about my stay. The Neighborhood: I absolutely loved staying in the Elephant & Castle neighborhood. As a first-time visitor to London staying for 10 days, it was the perfect location to experience its vibrant local culture. The area felt safe, lively and welcoming, with a mix of young professionals and families. I enjoyed exploring the cool local spots, coffee shops, and restaurants in the area. Transportation was very convenient, with easy access to buses, 2 major tube lines, and a tram line. The Room: The attention to detail in my room at Horangee Pocha really stood out. The shower was fantastic—hot water with great pressure made it a joy to use. I also appreciated thoughtful amenities like the blow dryer and kettle, which made my stay much more convenient. The housekeeping staff were wonderful, changing towels and the bathroom mat every other day. Finally, the room itself was lovely, with a large window on the sunny side of the street, high ceilings, and a bright, airy atmosphere. Another bonus, I could control temperature in my room - which was great as the weather was totally unpredictable and changing every day.

What could have been better. The furniture arrangement in the room could have been more thoughtful. There was only a tiny table and a single shelf above the hanging rack, which made it challenging to organize my belongings. I wish there had been more storage options, like additional shelves or drawers, and a few extra hangers (there were only three decent ones provided). As a result, I had to keep most of my clothes in my luggage. The bathroom could also benefit from added shelving or storage space for toiletries, as there wasn’t a convenient place to keep these items.

This is a reasonable price for the location and the bed is comfortable. The room is a good size and the shower was powerful with plenty of hot water if a little in need of refurbishment. There are lots of options locally for take away or a sit down meal. The room was a little cold but I think I am just there at the odd time when your not sure to have the heating on or not

There is no TV in the room and although the description says WiFi I couldn't find it. There is no reception and once you have checked in there is nobody to ask any questions of for example whats the WiFi and is there a code

everything was nice, very clean rooms, towels changed everyday and the bin taken out, great location, right near elephant park to have a coffee in the morning or little walk to subway and the buses right at the door. Stuff was very friendly and helpful with everything needed. Probably as a subjective suggestion it would be nice to have some placeholders to use outside the room when you don’t need the towels changed or you just don’t want to be disturbed during the day.

Check in was at the Restaurant. Friendly staff. Easy to get to the hotel from the bus stop. The room was nice and big. Had a kettle with mugs and tea/coffee on the side. The room was nice and warm. Quiet neighbourhood during the night. The bathroom was nice and spacious as well. There was a closet in the room and a chesterdrawer. Many shops and restaurants near the hotel. Not many rooms so not noisy if someone was walking the corridor.

No breakfast facilites. The shower clubical was small and not enough room for 1 person, the shower heasd was leaking. Not much as its just okay for a night or two stay.

The place is cozy and very close to the metro. I went for a conference stay but also took some time to explore London and especially its southern parts, and this accommodation was a perfect place to stay. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Fully recommended!

Some parts of the room would be good with a bit of renovation – for example, the floor and the doorframe were unglued in some places, but this was only an aesthetic thing. It did not reduce the comfort of the room anyhow.

The location is obviously very good, right at Elephant & Castle. The check in is done by the restaurant staff, easy and convenient. The ensuite room is furnished in a very clean and minimalist way, everything is super practical and convenient, and also aesthetic. The glass mosaic in the bathroom is beautiful. The electric locks are especially convenient. The hallway leads directly to the street, easy to enter and exit, guests don't bother each other. It was a very pleasant experience to stay here.

The best thing was the Korean restaurant downstairs. The room itself was very clean and the bed quite comfy. When we first got there I worried about the noise, it's by a main road, but it was fine.

There are instructions and information on the room's door that is not quite up to date and it lead to some confusion about check out and about a shared kitchen we couldn't find.

The housekeeper was excellent. She gave us fresh towels every day and was very helpful and pleasant. Our room was nice and clean although very basic. There were not a lot of extras but very good value for being in central London within reach of so many attractions . The WiFi worked well.

There was no TV in the room and only two pillows on the bed. Noisy at times.

Excellent location just a short walk to Elephant and Castle tube station with plenty of shops, pubs, supermarkets etc within a short stroll. Staff were excellent and for accommodation on a busy street above a restaurant the room was very private and quiet.

The hotel is very reasonably priced by London standards so of course I was not expecting 5 stars for what I paid. The room was safe, secure, reasonably sized etc. My only problem was that the shower recess was so small I could barely move my arms.

Large, modern, comfortable room belonging to and at the back of the Korean restaurant. Kettle, coffee and tea available. Good location. Daily cleaning.

Noise from the street, a bit of a leaky ceiling in the bathroom and no way to let daylight into the room without disturbing privacy - curtains instead of blinds, 1st floor and huge windows to the street, so getting ready in the morning without daylight.
