Beautiful and convenient location for a one night stay at a cute and cozy (and spotless!) B&B on our journey north. Gaynor is a welcoming, gracious and helpful host who makes you feel right at home with much attention given to details, extras and conveniences. Fun to chat with her in the morning over the delicious, generous breakfast that was served in their cheerful dining room. We look forward to another stay in the future. Thank you!

Nothing not to like. If we were staying more than one night we would have upgraded to the bigger room.

Hosts were VERY helpful and friendly! Finn (the chocolate lab) was a wonderful bonus! Delicious breakfast. Beautiful walk thru forest to small, rocky beach. Wonderful pub nearby (walking distance) with outdoor patio and great views! We had had a rough travel day upon arrival and the hosts were extra kind/understanding and "saved" our day (and our next)!

Other guests used the picnic table outside our window to smoke and had to shut the window a few times (was only there for one night and forgot to mention to hosts). Had some transportation issues with the local bus service.

Gaynor and Mike were very friendly and welcoming. The guesthouse is superbly situated on Loch Linnhe. Great for visiting Glencoe, Fort William, Ben Nevis, and travelling the Argyll coastal route. Gaynor has lots of knowledge about local places to visit too. The rooms are clean and comfortable with everything you'd need and a tuck shop!. Breakfast was amazing with fresh fruit, cereal, yogurt, toast and the usual hot full Scottish breakfast. Porridge is also available. The TV's had built in DVD players, and there was a choice of movies to watch, if the weather is bad! There is parking available. Lovely restaurants within a 5-minute drive (best to book, Gaynor can advise). Great quiet b&b. Highly recommended.

There was nothing we didn't like!

Gaynor was a very welcoming host and nothing was too much trouble for her. The room was well equipped and extremely comfortable. Tea, coffee and biscuits and even a tub of sweets in our room, were topped up daily. There was a Guest fridge to place our own drinks etc and an honesty shop providing crisps, chocolate chilled drinks etc . Packed lunches were provided on request and were exceptional good value. Excellent breakfasts cooked by Mike and plenty of variety with fresh fruit and yoghurts.

Nothing.

Absolutely perfect. We were welcomed by our host and made to feel at home. Room was spotless tastefully decorated bed very comfortable. Free toiletries. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast and for extra cost had. our washing done and a lunch provided for the next day. Prior to our visit host recommended we book a restaurant as it was busy and gave us a few suggestions. Our host went to extra trouble to make our visit an enjoyable one we would highly recommended the Woolly Rock

There wasn’t anything not to love about this stay

A lovely welcome on arrival. Gaynor had thought of everything like lollies and biscuits. She even had acquired some oat milk for cups of tea and breakfast. There was a great area in the hallway with snacks to purchase and a fridge and a few more varieties of tea and coffee.

Not much to improve on. It was really very good.

The host was very kind, she made us feel at home. Room was clean and cosy. Enough options for breakfast.

There was nothing bad about the place to be honest. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to visit Glencoe erea. However, if you are a light sleeper room 3 might be a little noisy because it is situated right next to the stairs.

Really enjoyed our two nights at the Wooly Rock. Facilities were excellent and Gaynor couldn't do enough to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Mike cooked an excellent full Scottish breakfast for us on both mornings and even Finn, the labrador got in on the act. Would whole heartedly recommend this property to anyone thinking of visiting Glencoe or Fort William. 5 stars all round 👍

Nothing, everything was great.
