Breakfast and dinner were both great. We loved the ambiance of the bar area in particular. The views form the dining room and the bed chamber were both beautiful! The staff was friendly and the other guests nicely chatty.

The room itself was small (which we knew going in) but hadn't realized quite how small. There was a low light hanging in the only walking path of the small space we kept hitting our heads on and the room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. I totally understand we chose a smaller room option, but this was the most expensive per night hotel we stayed in on our 10 day trip and it was the worst room of the bunch.

Excellent breakfast. Plenty of choice and nothing too much trouble. Fabulous view over the loch at breakfast to set u up 4 the day. Location perfect for us and our second visit. Room adequate for our needs and best of all barely any road noise. Nice and quiet.

We selected a small double room via booking. com which was exactly that. With hindsight we should have selected a standard room but that was our only misgiving. It was as described so have only ourselves to blame for that. When checking out we discussed our options 4 next year and the chap on reception couldn't have been more helpful. We will definitely be back.

We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Breakfast was very good, and although we had other plans for dinner guests we spoke to were very enthusiastic about it; we were able to enjoy an after-dinner drink in the cosy bar! We were delighted to find so many Iain McIntosh drawings gracing the walls, known to us as the illustrator of books by Alexander McCall Smith, a family friend. We loved the portrait, and also appreciated the books in the lounge (including a couple of shelves featuring McCall Smith). We weren't able to ask about the hotel's connection with Iain McIntosh. And of course we love the location, at the foot of Glencoe - spectacular in its autumn colours!

Nothing at all to complain about.

The hotel itself was beautiful, the area was beautiful, the staff were amazing to talk to, they were friendly and more than happy to help. The food was a good portion size, tasted amazing and the alcohol selection was good too. There were beautiful views all around, the gin class available on the website is 100% worth signing up for, it's informative, fun, you get to have a few drinks on the tour of the distillery and you get to make your own gin, name it and wax seal it too, obviously for a price, the tour guide of the distillery was good to talk to, good to joke around with, it was overall a brilliant experience.

If you don't have a car in loch leven you're kinda stuck as there is very minimal transport around. There wasn't a lot of food options for breakfast, it was vegetarian or non vegetarian, there wasn't any pastry options unfortunately. Although there was nothing wrong with the room me and my partner stayed in, it wasn't worth the money we paid for it, it was very small. The hotel website is a few years old and hasn't been updated, I was excited to try the cocktails on the website but on arrival, asking about the cocktails, the barman said that they hadn't served cocktails in a few years and didn't understand why cocktails were still being shown on the website.

The food was fantastic, top quality and breakfast included in the deal for such an excellent price! The room was fantastic very clean, bed was comfy and clean. Room was stocked with water and coffee, biscuits and cups. We booked the room with the view of the river and it had fantastic views. The over vibe of the hotel was so cosy, the distillery with the fire ongoing was so warm and welcoming. Staff were ever so helpful and kind. All our needs where met and our expectations where exceeded!! Will definitely be coming back to stay again in the future :)

The food, both breakfast and dinner were excellent in The presentation and quality of food . The hotel was a lot older than I expected, but everything was clean and no musty smells. The bartender/ front reception was especially friendly. The hotel was full but it was very still very quiet for a good nights sleep

The maps locations do not get you there. It was very difficult to find and fortunately a neighbor steered us there. I wish I had realized Fort Williams was 2 minutes up the road so we could’ve walked around and shopped. I knew this property was isolated when I booked, but I thought the property would be much larger than it was.

I am quite surprised about the rating of this hotel (for me is a 10/10). Starting with the distillery - I booked the rum school and it was such an amazing experience (thanks Craig for such a great class). The location of the hotel is absolutely wonderful. Breakfast was delicious (so happy there was a vegetarian Scottish breakfast). Restaurant is amazing, food was so good! Staff was really nice, special thanks to the gentleman that was taking the orders at the breakfast, he was very kind. Room was great, beds super comfy. Overall an amazing experience.

Nothing really, but if I had to be picky I would say that hard floor would be nicer, as carpets can get really dirty. However I wouldn’t class this as a problem.

The reception fellow Andrew I believe was very warm and welcoming. The help yourself breakfast was quite adequate for me with many choices. There were a few people from our group ordered from a menu. We had the room set up for handicapped individuals but we enjoyed having the balcony, the room and Brm were just fine. . We had dinner there in the evening, it was very tasty and well prepared. Loved my wine, the Cabaret Sauvignon. I also liked your inviting entrance lounge.

I sometimes found that the room looked a little old especially in the corners of the bathroom. I would love to have face cloths optional or available for those people who use them. I did not bring any from home and have missed using them. These are not the same as using disposable wipes.

Loch Leven Hotel was in a stunning waterside location surrounded by beautiful mountain views, a short distance from the center of Glen Coe. We appreciated that the Inn was old which gave it character, but it was very in good repair, had well kept flowering plants, a short path down to the flowing loch with more mountain views. The extended nature of the main building and others around it. and the varied medium sized rooms for dining and local pub, made it seem smallish and cozy, though it was much larger than we realized upon arrival. The rooms were beautifully decorated and furnished, very cozy bed and bedding, and wonderful tiled shower with jetted tub/shower combo. The food was expertly presented and also delicious. This resulted in a lovely, romantic stay.

No improvements needed.

I loved our stay at Loch Leven Hotel. It was warm and cosy and the staff were very welcoming. They were kind to our two young grandchildren and made a special effort for them at dinner. Speaking of dinner; the food was excellent; the four adults, in our party, had different dishes and they were all equally delicious. Breakfast was tasty and nicely cooked with plenty of choice and quality ingredients. I was really happy with our room and its beautiful view over the lake. Again it was warm and comfortable with a spacious bathroom and large soft towels. The bed was very comfortable. We would have loved to stay longer
