We loved Bilder Boutique Hotel, where we stayed 7 nights on our trip to Bilbao. The Hotel is located on a great site, close to train and bus station and the old town and the bridges, all in a walkable distance. The room was excellent, recently renovated, the stuff was very friendly and we could communicate in English with all of them. We will visit Bilbao again and choose to stay in Bilder Boutique Hotel!

Modern decor, clean, large room, good size bed, lounge area to work from, quality restaurant. It’s exactly what we needed having to work away and see some city sights.

Smell from restaurant seemed to come into room when the air con was turned off.

The hotel exceeded our expectations. I saw from the pictures that it was nice, but when we saw the room we remained speechless! It even had a tiny balcony with a small table and some flowers. The staff was super friendly and available. We will definitely go back.

It is very well located at the very edge of the old city. I could walk everywhere, and there’s a taxi stand right across the main road. It is near cafes and restaurants, and can get very busy but the rooms are quiet. I was in room 308 which had a little Juliet balcony overlooking the street. The staff were helpful and friendly.

It is a renovated old building and plumbing can be tricky. One morning there was a very peculiar smell after someone upstairs had used the toilet. That smell went after a while. Also for such a nice hotel, there were no tissues supplied. It’s a minor matter easily fixed.

I stayed at the hotel and I can say that it met my expectations. The journey to the hotel was by bus from the airport (costing 3 euros) and then an Uber (costing 9 euros) because I didn't want to walk 10 minutes at 11:00pm. The room had good sound insulation and the bed was comfortable. During the weekend, we decided to visit the city on foot, which was not a problem, as all the tourist spots were at most 15 minutes away. Overall, the hotel met my expectations and did not disappoint in any aspect.

Unfortunately, my reservation resulted in the room having two single beds instead of a double bed, which I assume was an error on my part.

Location, location, location! You are in the heart of Bilbao. Is very easy to reach anywhere but also to go back to the hotel to take a nap, get changed, etc. The room was great as well, and we enjoyed the breakfast too. Would 100% recommend! Also, our plane got delayed and we talked to reception to get the digital key for the room, in case we were too late for check in, and they fixed everything within 5 min. We could check in normally, but we really appreciated this. As well, because we came for NYE, the hotel sent us a list of places open to book for dinner, which saved us some time. In general, we are super happy about our stay in Bilbao in Boutique Bilder hotel and we would recommend!

Everything was great to be honest.

The staff, the rooms, and the location were all great. The room was big and comfortable, and it was very well cleaned every day. The staff was friendly and helpful. If I ever come to Bilbao again, I will definitely stay here.

The breakfast concept focuses on reducing food waste, which is nice. However, I missed having some fruits and yogurts. In Bilbao, you tend to eat a lot of bread, so the breakfast mainly consists of toasts. For me, this didn’t satisfy the need for fresh fruit or something lighter. Adding a small buffet with some fresh options could greatly improve the breakfast.

The hotel exceeded our expectations. Despite its two-star rating, the location was perfect, situated between the Old Town and within walking distance of all the attractions in Bilbao. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind, and the hotel itself was modern and impeccably clean. Our room was very spacious, and the bathroom was equipped with modern facilities. There is an attached coffee shop and restaurant which served delicious food, ideal for breakfast and dinner. While complimentary water was provided upon arrival, you need to replenish it yourself thereafter. Other amenities like shampoo, conditioner were not included. This wasn’t a problem, I’m sharing for info purposes. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

We loved our short get-away stay in Bilbao and this hotel was perfect- clean, modern and relatively private. The staff were especially courteous and friendly. They are at your disposal for your every need or question. We were surprised that Carla & the staff were so thoughtful to acknowledge my birthday with some truffle bonbons! I would happily stay here again without a hesitation. The property was well-situated and well-appointed. We had a superior room that has been tastefully renovated and had a lovely view of the pedestrian street below. Relatively quiet unless it is the weekend which has an expected increase in noise below but that is part of the Bilbao city culture.

The only thing I missed was a small coffee machine (ex: Nespresso) which would be a minimum in a superior room at a boutique hotel rather than a kettle with instant coffee sacs and powdered milk.
