Location close to new and old town and all the attractions etc Nice room, decent size, comfortable bed, good shower. Breakfast buffet was very good with a large choice. Plenty of lifts. Clean Good check-in

The location of the hotel - half-way between the Guggenheim museum and the Old Town - was perfect for a sightseeing trip. The room was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the shower was great.

The view from the room was not attractive. The breakfast (17 euros) was too expensive for people who just want a coffee and a yoghurt, or something small to start the day. We asked for information about how to travel to San Sebastien but the staff didn't mention that the bus needed to be booked in advance. (We went to the bus station to find that there was no bus that morning, and had to book for the following day).

We decided to stay at this hotel, because we love the beds of the Barcelo chain.the room was comfortable and the beds amazing, but we had a view of these weeds and a building, which we were disappointed.We got our room with breakfast, so we didn’t pay attention if the room had a coffee maker. But it did have a small refrigerator. The shower was super small, and it had a separate toilet. The toilet door was kind of stuck also. it had toiletries in the bathroom and nice towels and a blow dryer, and electrical outlets on both sides of the bed. These rooms need a little upgrade though. The breakfast was amazing, but the first day when we got in, it was packed. But they still brought me my gluten-free warm bread.. there is a parking with an additional charge. The front desk was very helpful and helped us with restaurant recommendations. Eugenio did our reservations for a superb restaurant for us. Walking distance to the Guggenheim and to the restaurants and cable car. There was a small Carrefour walking distance too.Great location!

The rooms are a little dated. When we got in, they had left dirty towels hanging in the toilet room. We are used to get a robe and sandals from the other Barceló hotels and we didn’t get any here.We asked the front desk and they said we have to request them. We were very disappointed by our view.

Location by the river between Guggenheim and Old town is great! Room clean and comfortable.

Too few parking places, quite impossible to find parking near by.

Beautiful, modern room that is actually bigger than the picture online shows. Big breakfast buffet with gluten-free bread/muffin Great location along the river just minutes of walking distance from the Guggenheim museum and the Old Town. Room service at night came within 20 minutes as I had been notified.

We arrived when one of Bilbao's big Holidays started which meant fully booked hotel, crowds at breakfast (even though their sign lets you know which times are low/medium/high occupancy during breakfast!) and lots of noise late at night from the concerts going on nearby. Check the Holiday calendar beforehand if you are sensitive to that! Dinner options were only in the dining room which was the same as the breakfast room with little atmosphere. No snacks were served in the bar area. However, room service had a nice selection and the delivery was timely.

Unfortunately in our period we had to tell the staff about two mistakes: when we arrived, we were given a very noisy room, and two days later it was impossible to get into the garage. Errors can happen everywhere, the question is how to handle them. Here, in a 4-star hotel, both problems were solved in a 5-star way. The room was immediately changed for us, and of course we didn't have to pay for parking, in fact, we received a small gift of ham and wine tasting as compensation. Location is superb! Excellent parking, albeit a bit tight. I spilled some red one on a very costly dress shirt while out dining at mid-day. I immediately took the shirt to the hotel. That same day they had it laundered and pressed to perfection and the stain was completely gone. They had the shirt placed in my room while we were out. For a total cost of 10€, SIMPLY OUTSTANDING! Very impressed with the hotel & staff. Rooms were superb and breakfast was magnificent. Most highly recommend this hotel to anyone that is looking for luxury and convenience in such a perfect location!

We booked last minute, appreciated the availability still in a fair price range. The room was a bit basic and the open bathroom concept is not the best, but the price is fair. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. The staff was very nice and helpful with any upcoming questions related to parking etc. Our bathroom had an issue but service staff came to fix it almost immediately. Room service was flexible as we stayed in the room until 1 pm and they still did an excellent job. The best of all was the breakfast, excellent selection, a lot of salty and sweet options, cold cuts of local ham and cheese, warm dishes, eggs, a variety of fruits, yoghurt and granola. They even had a honeycomb! Loved our stay.

Open bathroom, but not a big deal.

Very clean, fancy hotel overlooking the river (we didn't get a river-view room, but still lovely). Upscale, quiet, excellent room, free wi-fi and nice amenities. We found this place last-minute after a terrible experience at a another hotel/hostel on a busy traffic circle and needed to escape. Pilots and flight crews stay here, which seemed like a good sign, and — at least off-season — our room rates were incredibly affordable, even cheaper than the terrible place we had originally booked. Short walk to both Old Town (Casco Viejo) and the Guggenheim (which is great too). Checkout was easy, and they called us a cab to the airport early in the morning that arrived within 2 minutes. Would definitely stay here again.

No complaints at all. 100% great stay. We didn't try the in-house café or restaurant, so we cannot speak to that, but we had a fantastic experience.

Perfectly located right in the centre at a walking distance from the main touristy hotspots. The hotel is beautiful and offers a lot of facilities like a restaurant and a bar downstairs. The room was super quiet which meant we could have a very nice sleep. The bed was very big and very comfortable.

We were initially given a bedroom with twin beds (despite having requested a double). When we asked about it, we were moved to another room. This room was less nice than the original one. Very basic furniture. Was expecting a nicer setting for a 4 star hotel. The room was also quite hot a night but we could leave the window open which made it ok. The rest was perfect!
