My husband and I went to the Urban Boutique hotel in Vienna for my husbands 70th birthday on the 9th December 2024. The room was spotless and well looked after every day. Comfortable and warm. Nothing was a bother for the ower Edward. Staff were very helpfull and friendly. We would highly recommend the Urban Boutique Hotel. The hotel is located in the Andeagasse and a 1 minute walk from the hotel to the underground of Zeiglergasse subway station and from there you can go all around the city of Vienna. The street outside has many many shops to buy ladies and gents clothing. We found loads of cafes and restaurants within a 5 - 10 min walk.

We were on the 3rd floor and after a heavy meal and a drink it was a little bit of a struggle to make it up 3 flights of stairs. We had to stop and have a seat at each level. Edward the owner stated that next year an escalator will be put in. That will make the Urban Boutique Hotel just perfect!

The property has a very good location. Near the metro and bus stop. It’s right in the middle of shopping area with groceries and restaurants. It is very accessible.

There were no lifts so if you have a big luggage that might be difficult. The one and only pillow in my room is too soft that it actually feels like you’re not using any at all. The wifi is really bad especially at night. Even when you’re not playing videos and just loading up a website say to research where you’re going the next day it doesn’t load or it takes a long time. I had to use my mobile data most of the time which is not really good if you have limited roaming data only.

The room was decorated nicely and the sheets were nice and light. The floor unit air conditioner made the heat a little more bearable. It was also nice to have a shower and sink in the room, and we only needed to share the WC. The coffeemaker made a decent coffee and the building was lovely. The staff was also kind.

Unfortunately, the Internet didn't work the entirety of our stay - there was a strong wifi signal but no Internet. Additionally, one of the beds had broken slats that made it rather uncomfortable. This is totally not the fault of the hotel, but there was really loud drilling and construction work outside at 4am!

Wasn't far from the centre with lots of restaurants and cafes along the way. Breakfast staff absolutely lovely, as was the receptionist and attached-bistro owner. Plenty of choices for breakfast. Twin room was basic but comfortable with a very appreciated coffee/tea machine. No lift, but a wide and quite shallow staircase. Check-in was quick and our room was available earlier. Receptionist called 2 taxis for us during our stay, both of which arrived perfectly on time.

Breakfast room can get very busy and not much space between tables. No street noise, but the last 2 nights a machine somewhere close to our room kicked in and was quite loud - bring ear plugs. Shower a little temperamental (but always had hot water) and bathroom very small (but better a small bathroom than a shared one). Cleaning staff made beds and supplied new towels, coffee capsules and tea, but didn't hoover the room.

I think it's a proper value place to stay in the heart of the city. For the price there, it was perfectly fine to me. It was clean, staff was nice and helpful. I wouldn't use it to stay for a week, but for a night or a few nights, if your focus is to be out and explore rather than use the hotel facilities, it's OK. We used the cheapest option and the toilette and shower was shared and outside of the room. They were clean, personally I had no problems with that, but I know some people want to have everything private. I think they might also have such rooms at a higher rate. Our window opened to the Mariahilfer Strasse, so it's really in a sweet spot even if you explore on foot!

Where do I start. Welcome was very friendly the room we had was very clean. The breakfast was exceptional - it included a hot and cold buffet with the most incredible crossiants . Interaction with the staff was always friendly nothing was too much effort. Our evening meal was tasty and delivered piping hot and we didn't have to wait very long. When the main coffee machine broke down, an alternative was offered which included hot or cold milk. You have access to tea, coffee,fruit and cakes throughout the day during your day. On enquiring about travel around the city, we were given very helpful information and places to see. The location is VERY convenient. - there is a stop almost outside the front door and the city centre is +- 30 minute walk with a lot of shops. Wesbahnhof station is a few minutes away this connects you directly by bus to and from the airport. Don't let the outside fool you there is a whole shopping mall inside the station. On your way up to your room there are seating areas on every landing.

Not something we disliked but found unusual. On arrival you go through the bistro to find the reception area just beyond. This is not well sign posted but adds to the quirkiness.

An awesome place to stay. The room had an interesting interior and was a little bit small, but totally fine for a few nights. Everything was clean and the breakfast had such an amazing selection which we didn't expect. The staff was also very friendly and the location is perfect to travel by public transport or walk in the pedestrian zone.

The walls are a bit thin and we could hear the loud coughs from our neighbours in the early morning when everything was quiet. But we couldn't hear the outside noise.

The hotel is small but very clean and quaint, staff are friendly and welcoming, the room is compact but comfortable. The bed was comfortable, bathroom was adequate and clean towels are provided daily.Breakfast is continental, they also provide guests with a choice of fried eggs and there’s free coffee and tea throughout the day in the lobby.Hotel is very central, you can easily get to most of the tourist attractions by walking if you enjoy that, or using the metro, there’s one right on this street, a few meters away, lots of places to shop and eat.

Everything was good but after 3:30pm, they cleaned trash bin after I left the room, and I felt uncomfortable with it because I didnt want it. I kept having do not disturb sign until 3:30pm and when I left the room for long from 3:30pm, I got rid of the sign because I thought the cleaning time must be done. And they only cleaned the trash bin, didnt clean anything or replaced towel. I really dont know if the cleaning the trash bin was necessary.

People were nice and helpful, the room was ok, beds comfortable. Cleaning and change of towels good. Furniture and style cool. Locationrxcellent.

It’s my second time here, and I found it a bit run down. The kitchenette was lacking useful stuff (bowls, small spoons), the Nespresso machine was missing a piece, the microwave was malfunctioning. The shower was clogged. Towels very hard. Too bad, but there were lots of good things for which I would go back. Improvement is possible!
