Such a clean and modern apartment. Perfect location - right in the heart of the city centre. The staff also left cake as it was my partner’s birthday - we thought this was so thoughtful and kind. Overall, fantastic stay and I would 100% recommend this apartment, and have been recommending it to friends and family.
The only issue (which was very small!) was that the television was not the best - kind of small and the sound and picture quality could have been better. But this did not significantly impact our stay and was only a minor thing.

Location was excellent. It was across the road from the Scotland National Museum which was definitely well worth visiting. The Hop on Hop off bus also stopped just down from the building. Pubs and restaurants were plentiful within a very short distance. Local convenience stores were close by as were a couple of souvenir shops. The place was really clean and modern and there were cleaning products to use in the well equipped kitchen which was nice. I loved there was a washing machine and instructions were placed in a folder which was easy to go through. High ceilings meant the place wasn't so hot and stuffy as were some places we had stayed in the UK. We could also open the windows slightly for a cool breeze. Bed was super comfy but bedroom was quite small. The shower was large and modern which I liked but a tad slippery so grab rails would have been a good addition. The only other thing was it would have been good to have a few shelves in the bathroom to place things on as there was no where to put toiletries etc.
The noise at night time (as there was a night club just down below which did get rowdy early hours of the morning) and the window coverings were not block out so the sunlight came through as early as 4.30am and as late as 9.30pm. However, there were sleeping comfort amenity packs which included an eye mask cover and ear buds to drown out the light and noise - which I thought was a great idea.

Great location, easy to get to and amazing bed. Facilities were good, enough room and space. Shower was great, heated floors, enough towels and essentials in the apartment to use. Staff really helpful and friendly.
Didn’t state which apartment we would be in on the booking, ground floor wasn’t ideal as was noisy at times and window allowed people from the street to see in. Price was steep for this also.

Lovely, modern appartment just a stones' throw from the Royal Mile and all the attractions. Has a well equipped kitchen, great bathroom with underfloor heating, and a nice relaxing lounge/diner. Comfy bed and nice pillows too.
Not dropping score for this, but one of the lounge blinds was missing a pole, so we couldn't operate one blind without winding it up. The entrance door into the building doesn't shut properly, and we often came back to an open door to the busy street. We also found out from the cleaner that the door code for each apartment is the same!! So, lots of security enhancements are recommended! Aside from that, amazing apartment.

Location, location, location. Just opposite the museum, short walk to the castle, Royal Mile, food, shops, etc etc. We could walk everywhere. Also the flat was very nicely ordered and worked well for us. Other than as noted, below, the check in procedure was easy and convenient. So overall we are very happy with our stay.
The front door was a bit tricky - we had trouble ourselves and actually had to go down to help other guest that we had met previously and were struggling to open the door. Luckily they knew our room number and rang up to us. The door unlocks electrically but won't pull open unless you give it a sharp push first. Fine when you know how, but obviously catching people out. The other (purely cosmetic) detail was the wooden floor. It was clean, but it was scuffed and marked. It didn't impact our stay but wasn't the best impression on entering the flat.

Great location, very clean property, convenient. They were great at accommodating an early check in.
There is no where to store your luggage if your train/ flight leaves late.

Would definitely recommend based on location. The hosts were so helpful as kept me posted the entire stay. Offered any help and suggestions for the area. The apartment was very nice.
Someone put black towels in the bathroom that once wet leaked black dye everywhere. Everywhere we stayed had some little extras like packets of condiments in kitchen. Would rather have salt and pepper packets than the shakers that everyone has used. For the price a little welcome basket of a couple things would have made it seem more special like some more teas, coffee and tea cakes etc. Maybe a couple laundry detergent pods so no misuse of that instead of the bottle of detergent which I am assuming someone else left.

The apartment was central to absolutely everything we needed during the Fringe Festival. Very clean, had everything we needed for a 5-day stay, and was quiet, private and cosy despite the events outside of our doorstep. We loved the fact we could open our window and listen to buskers, and that a 10-minute walk in any direction had us at the centre of events and major attractions. If we return to Edinburgh in the future, Museum Apartments will be our first choice for accommodation. We paid a hefty price for the stay but this was in line with other options in August.
The utility cupboard had a damp smell, possibly a wet mop head, although this could only be smelt when the door was opened to use the washing machine. Walls were a little marked by previous guests which made the apartment feel less than perfect when we first entered. We quickly realised that the apartment was great, very clean and seemed to be fitted out with good quality furniture and luxury fittings.

Very modern and spacious, Location is excellent, comfortable bed and really nice bathroom with under floor heating, the whole place was very cosy, full kitchen facilities with all the extras you would need, we were hear for one night and wish we could have stayed longer, this was chosen due to the great reviews we had seen and in my opinion is a far better option than a hotel in the city. Parking just 5 mins or so away at q-park quratermile too. I am fairly local at around 40 miles away and will be looking to use this place from now on when overnight in Edinburgh.

Great location. This was my first time in this city and I wanted a safe and comfortable place convenient to the city, my arrival station/transport and main attractions at a reasonable cost. Although I didn't see the hosts, we communicated conveniently over message/their app and they were very quick to respond.
For the cost I would have expected better amenities within the apartment. The duvet cover for example was too small for the actual duvet and thus looked shabby. There were markings against the wall which a coat of paint could fix. For a self-catering apartment olive oil and a few basic spices would be appreciated... Just things not convenient to purchase but every guest would probably appreciate.
