Staff all excellent, friendly and helpful, especially the Australian lady greeting us each morning for breakfast, showing interest in what we were up to each day and following up on our activity each morning, a credit to the hotel.

Beds were extremely soft, not much support, lot of noise outside each night going on until 4-4.30pm, appreciate this is out of hotels control

The price of the room and the package l thought was rather expensive, we originally booked the other Radisson hotel but because off building work being carried out we were offered the alternative Radisson Blu with an upgrade but not sure what if any the upgrade was as nothing was mentioned on arrival?

Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Hotel was modern and clean. Prices wernt too expensive. Bar was same price as pubs around Edinburgh so great experience.

Couldn't recommend this hotel any more. Just fantastic in every way.

The staff was really great and the breakfast was nice.

We did not actually book this hotel, we booked the radisson closer to the Edinburgh castle and were moved to this hotel 2 days before our arrival. We paid for superior rooms and were promised an upgrade for the short notice move but didn't recieve one without repeatedly asking, then the rooms we were moved to were not upgrades, only what we had already paid for. We did however get a dinner voucher and free breakfast for our group. Additionally, the original rooms we recieved were dirty and the ac was not working in one, so we were grateful for the move even if it wasn't really an upgrade.

we were cancelled at the Radisson Collection (due to government restrictions or refurbishment) and our booking moved to Radisson Blu but this location was fantastic. The room was beautiful and large, clean and had everything we needed. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We were so near everything and would stay again. On our anniversary we received cupcakes and prosecco which was very thoughtful.

There was nothing really that we could have said negatively. Obviously it is an expensive hotel to stay at but you only get what you pay for. It was a special occasion for us and we had saved accordingly.

The room was very comfortable & had everything we needed. Complimentary toiletries were lovely & coffee & tea replaced each day. The location was perfect for seeing all the sights in Edinburgh & a short walk from the bus we took from the airport. The breakfast was lovely, great choice & quick service.

The reception staff were having trouble with their system & it took several visits in order to pay our bill. As two friends travelling together we wanted to split the bill which caused all sorts of issues.

Fantastic location, beautiful hotel, and great facilities, we we're spoilt for choice with breakfast, very helpful staff and im sure we will be back, thanks for a lovely welcome x

Location and room were excellent, was really busy because of the fringe but they coped

Breakfast Area and Service, room not large enough, overcrowded atmosphere, buffet too busy. The food on offer was very good, just not where you ate it

The Radisson Blu Hotel is at the lower end of the tourist section of the Royal Mile and is convenient for the Royal Mile and is a comfortable fifteen minute walk, down-hill to Prince's Street shops, restaurants and bars, Prince's Street Gardens, the Sottish National Gallery and Waverley Railway Station. The journey up-hill from Prince's Street to the hotel is comfortable if you follow the Waverly Bridge Road - Cockburn Road and avoid the 120+ steps of Warriston's Close Stairs. Edinburgh Castle is a 20 minute slow stroll or 5 minutes walking normally.

The tourist section of the Royal Mile was very busy with people but the Castle Esplanade was very quiet. We used the Radisson Blu Hotel to break our journey to Thurso so our time in Edinburgh is being split over three nights at opposite ends of a week. Our itinerary wasn't tourism but more practical way-point break for the outward and homeward journeys. If travelling through Edinburgh, northwards be prepared for major traffic to the Forth Road/Queen's Ferry Crossing Bridge. It took over an hour to reach the bridge and there was three miles of queuing/slow moving traffic on the M90 approaches.

We had a breakfast bag the second morning as we had an early train - no spoon with the yogurt which wasn’t the easiest to eat lol. The rest of the breakfast bag was great!
