We stayed at the Rubens hotel at the end of August. The room was very clean, the breakfast well-organized and delicious and the personnel was very helpful and friendly. We can recommend the hotel to the international tourists.

We had a quiet, spacious room on the 5th floor which was well lighted and had a very nice bathroom. The room was clean and had everything we could have asked for. The beds were comfortable as were the two chairs with a small table and a sofa so we did not have to sit on the beds. There was a desk and a big TV on the wall. The electric sockets by the desk and next to the beds all had USB charging connections. The walk-in closet was super and the safe was conveniently located and worked with a credit card. The internet connection was good and the bar in the lobby was open until late. We booked a parking space behind the hotel and left the car there during our stay. There are two Metro stations within walking distance as well as bars, restaurants and shopping. The breakfast room is very nice but we did not try the breakfast as we preferred to sleep late.

It would have been nice to have the breakfast room stay open a hour longer on weekends and holidays.

We had fantastic stay at Rubens hotel in Milan. Location is great, 2 min walk from metro station. Rooms are comfortable and very clean, comfy bed also, in room you have everything you need. The front desk staff was amaznig, very friendly and helpful and really made our stay pleasent. When we arrived they gave us welcoming coffee and juice and told us that better apartmaint was free during our stay so if we want we can have it with no extra fees. And one morning gratis breakfast, which was superb. Would happily stay again when we come back to Milan

Nothing, everything was perfect

Absolutely wonderful hotel. The staff really wants you to enjoy your stay. They offered us bigger room for the same price and the it was absolutely huge. In the room there was a nice welcoming note with my name. The breakfast was super nice and clean, with lots of options and with the nice view. They also gave us a package of their own pasta, which we found in our room the next evening, again with very kind note. While checking out, we found out that we were supposed to get a welcome drink. Although we were saying that it doesn't mind that we didn't get it, the receptionist told us that she wants to offer us something, and as a result, each of us two got one breakfast for free. I definitely recommend this hotel, it is a real example, how to treat guests. They want you to enjoy your stay and have a great time. Definitely coming back in the future.

Upon checking in, it felt as though our room had been upgraded, we were informed that we were staying in the 'junior suite', which was a welcomed surprise! The room was fabulous. It had a coat room, bath/shower room, sitting room and bedroom. The room was clean and well appointed, with lightswitches on both sides of the bed, excellent blackout curtains, glasses, toiletries, kettle, minifridge etc. We were also gifted a welcome drink at the bar, where the barman, Francesco, took care of our every need; supplying us with some delicious complementary snacks and friendly conversation. The breakfast was extensive with lovely views over the city, in a quiet and relaxing environment. Staff at the front desk were always welcoming and helpful. We had an early flight, so we requested a packed breakfast to take with us. This was organised without issue, and did not fail to dissapoint. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and will not hesitate to return! I could not reccomend this hotel enough.

Rubens is a very clean hotel in a semi-residential neighborhood. It is a couple of blocks from the popular streets. It is not in a tourist area of town which makes a lot of things more accessible and local. The hotel pictures on the Booking.com are under rated in my opinion. The rooms and facilities are nicer than the photos. We traveled in the beginning of May and the nightly rates were very reasonable. We were skeptical at first when we booked the hotel but we were pleasantly surprised as to how good this hotel is. The front desk staff are superb, very courteous and go out of their way to help you out.

The only thing we didn't like was tthe tramway noise that would passby on the Ruben street. If you want to avoid that, ask for a room on the opposite side of the hotel. It didn't bother us as much.

The staff were amiable and accommodating. They welcomed us warmly and went out of their way to ensure our comfort. We arrived early and asked to store our luggage until check-in time at 3 p.m. Instead, they generously allowed us to check in immediately, hours earlier than expected. On hour last day, they once again provided excellent service by holding our luggage until our late evening flight, without any additional costs. The reception team was kind and communicative, with special thanks to Jenny (I think) and here colleagues for their professionalism and attentiveness. Housekeeping also did a great job. Our room was kept clean, with fresh towels each day, even though we kept things quite tidy ourselves. Lastly, the location of the hotel is ideal for exploring Milan at an affordable price. With a metro station nearby, getting to the city center was quick and convenient. We also found it easy to reach San Siro stadium. The neighborhood felt safe, and there were plenty of amenities around, including a large Carrefour market, restaurants, and bars.

The hotel and room was spotless bed was so comfable. Room service fantastic. Breakfast was great lots to choose from. Hotel was 40 mins walk from milan. Or a 5 minute journey on the metro which was 5 mins walk from hotel and cost 2 euros. Various bars near the hotel and a fabulous 24 hour supermarket which sells everything

Rather disappointed checking into hotel as not much information shared regarding area, breakfast safe deposit boxes etc. Felt rather rushed and not much consideration taken. arrived 8.30pm and enquired about supermarkets near by. Was advised supermarket closed 8pm. However walking 4 mins down the road we found 24 hour supermarket. I consider information like this should be more accurate, just felt like the reception person was dismissing us. Would like to add different member of staff on duty when we were leaving. We were having issues with taxi to the airport and he was very helpful

Welcoms drink & snacks were really nice not like you got a quick glass in the lobby but more properly in the bar. Francesko, the bartender was funny & hospitable. When the bar was closed you could enjoy some free coffee/ beverage and buns. The atmosphere was pleasent away from reception and folk with some light music on. In the room, there were coffee/te and smal cookies. I even like that toiletries were proper not in wall holder.

This was our second stay. The first time, we got complementary water, chocolate & greeting cards in the room which made us feel more welcomed. Not this time though, which gave a random feelibg instead. It is not the whole world but I believe if you do it once you should keep doing it all the way. The bathroom was quite cramped with some insects (not sure if it was accidental) which one dose not expect it from a 4* hotel with all those positive sides I wrote. There are many good things about this hotel I wish I had not seen insects which was a downgrade. My partner would give a lower rate actually.
