Large room and balcony, the most comfortable bed, great shower and toiletries. Staff are very professional and attentive. Very good selection of food for breakfast. Restaurant and bar area are very cosy and comfortable. Beautiful swimming pool. Very good location to enjoy San Juan beach. The tram is only 5 min walk and brings you to Alicante in 15 min. Taxis to Alicante was around €15. Our flight was not until late at night but we were able to enjoy the pool for the day, they provide locker room for luggage and there are changing rooms/shower and towels provided to be able to get changed before heading to the airport. I’m surprised it has only 3 starts. It has a 5 start comfort.

My room didn’t have the balcony that I was expecting (it had a Juliette balcony). I would check this if I stayed again. The only other thing I would say is that breakfast was the same everyday and by the 4th day I was a bit bored with what was on offer. Maybe offering a different type of hot egg rather than scrambled every day or a different type of sausage. A variation in cut fruit would be a suggestion. However, these are just very little things and overall the breakfast buffet was really nice, everything was spotlessly clean and the staff were so friendly. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Modern refurbishment of common areas, facilities and rooms. Nice size balcony, proximity to beach, promenade and tram. Breakfasts were a real highlight which a fantastic selection in the main restaurant areas (smoked salmon, local cheeses, churros and pancakes all nice touches). Grounds were lovely including the all year round open pool area (just note, pool is not practically useable out of season (Wim Hof maybe). Loved the bar area and friendly staff…we ate out in the main, but enjoyed a really good bar lunch on the final day.

Nothing significant…the pool temperature was a real disappointment to my 10 year old son as the limited heat jets didn’t make any impact so essentially unusable even though 22/23c sunshine (granted it was November, and I appreciate the cost & environmental trade offs to consider). The rooms walls are thin so you can hear everything that’s going on around you, not a major problem for us, but worth knowing if you are a light sleeper!

The hotel was only three stories in height, bijou and cosy, but a lovely feel. The inside/outside dining area was a relaxing experience. The pool area was never uncomfortably busy. We used the gym, which was basic but had all we wanted, ie weights and a treadmill. The short walk to the beach and extensive promenade of San Juan, was great for walking and exploring. Just a few minutes walk from the hotel is the tram, both to Alicante and further afield in the opposite direction, Benidorm- just 1.40 Euros, each way! The whole area of small local cafes, eateries were very cheap and there was a large supermarket close by. The trams get very busy around 6pm, so be prepared for them to sail past and wait for another. This is not due to tourism as there were many locals on these trams. Every evening walking doen the prom are all the locals, the beach is full of pilates classes, personal trainers, group classes and more. Friday night, watching the Spanish World go by was great.

For us, everything we wanted was there apart from some standard cocktails!!! You could only really get those at the poolside bar which shut at 7pm

Great experience all around: Breakfast, location, staff, room with a view to the sea, 1 minute walking to the beach, gym is small but clean and good. The restaurant inside the hotel is also great. Really recommend it.

Hard to identify negative aspects because my experience was great but if I had to, I would say the hotel is too far from the airport, which is not that negative itself as it's in Playa San Juan which is a calmer and maybe "more exclusive" district of Alicante. The city center will be cheaper and closer to the airport, but also quite crowded.

Lovely newly done decor, with a comfortable dining and bar area. It is small and retro (it is 60 years old this year) compared to some of the huge buildings nearby. Lovely pool and sunbathing area and spacious garden with deck chairs. Some rooms are still being refurbished, but work is 9 - 5 pm and not a problem. We ate dinner in the restaurant both nights we were there and the food was refined and delicious and the service excellent. Super breakfast. We drove there so it was useful that there was a car park. The bedroom was pleasant, with a small balcony overlooking the pool and garden area. There is a newly made spa and beauty salon, but I didn't use this facility. Great location with the fabulous beach just over the road and and the L3 tram runs along the beach front, so you can easily get to Alicante. It's a lovely hotel, not big and flashy at all. We went in March, so it was fairly quiet. I hope to go back for a bit longer soon.

The reception staff were very friendly and helpful; they helped us work out the local trams, booked taxis and recommended restaurants. The pool bar staff were also lovely - it was lovely to have drinks and snacks served by the pool. The hotel was spotless and beautiful inside. The pool area and garden were lovely. It was right by the beach so we split our time between the pool and the beach. Beach was also lovely - very clean, white soft sand and gentle sandy slope into the sea. Lots of bars and cafes for food and drinks during the day.

The location - there was not much (anything really) around the hotel. The few bars and cafes that were close by were closed after 5pm. We ended up going into Alicante town every night to eat. The hotel really was lovely - it felt quite luxurious- but there really wasn’t much of anything around the area in the evenings.

We stayed there in November only for one night, but it was nice experience. I am able to review only the room, the breakfast and service. The room - we had a premium double room - extremaly clean, comfortable bed, perfect bathroom. The breakfast was ok. Not amazing, but kept the standards. Maybe the staff should quicker collect the dishes after finished breakfast by guests, otherway the seagulls and pigeons take the food from the plates. The overall service was amazing. We stayed there with a small dog and they give us a nice gift for the dog. Of course there is an extra charge for the dog but still, it was unexpectable.

The hotel was clean, the room I got was spacious. The restaurant served very delicious food. The staff were very kind. The breakfast was good-sausages, scrambled eggs, beans, mushrooms, bacon, tomatoes, bread, salmon, sandwiches, fruits, 3 kinds of salami, 3-4 kinds of cheese, freshly squeezed orange juice, peach and ananas juice. Coffee machine, different kind of milk (f.e. oat and so on), tortilla de patatas, cereal, fruit yogurts and variety of sweets (donuts, churros, waffles and so on). 2 minutes walk to the amazing sand beach. There's supermarket behind the hotel. Very good WiFi!

There weren't many good places to eat nearby as the hotel is about 20 minutes by metro from the center of Alicante but I still wouldn't stay in the center next time because it's crazy busy both the beach and the center. The breakfast was absolutely the same tho whole week so I got a bit bored of it the last 2 days. At times was a bit noisy in the hotel so it was hard to fall asleep.

Reception - they are efficient. Everything was prepared just before our arrival. The welcome toest as we are travelling for our honeymoon. Restaurant - dinner menu is exceptional. The recommendations of what's a must-try is great. The breakfast has not much option but good enough to start your day. Housekeeping - the room is taken care of on a daily basis. The maid is making sure that our preference is done (non-scent due to allergies).
