I never really leave reviews, but here I had to, because I was afraid to book after I read the reviews. I don't need a lot, so I still booked, but the reviews didn't match at all with what I experienced. I had a great stay. The location is perfect, the employees are friendly, the room good looking, the bed and pillow are very comfortable, and the shower too. It's not a room to hang out in for a long time, but for sure, it's a comfy bedroom. Wifi is good in the room too, it was clean and I had towels, soap and even shampoo. The room doesn't have a view, but if you look around in the center, there don't exist windows with a good view. The windows had good curtains blocking out sun and light, giving it a good temperature to sleep in. Even having a power nap at 2pm was comfortable. I could leave my backpack and check in quite a lot earlier than 3pm, checkout time is also perfect at 10.30am. I've never had such a good room located in a center for 50 euros. I was very very happy and would stay here again for sure when I'm in Chambery.

Upon arriving in Chambery on our interrailing trip, my friend started to feel unwell so we booked a room at Hotel Des Beaux Arts so she could rest. Later in the day she became really ill and we decided to ring for a doctor. I went to the lady at reception to ask if she could give me the doctor's number. She was ever so helpful, especially when she realised I didn't speak much French. She offered to translate to the doctor for me which was much appreciated. My friend felt a little better after a couple of days and we were able to move on. I would recommend this hotel, our room was clean, peaceful, good value and everyone was really friendly.

The staff were excellent and sorted out a problem for me. Th rooms are perfect size and the beds comfortable. Being in the centre of the town and close to the railway station the location was perfect for me.

I was quite content with everything. I can't think of anything that fell short of my expectations. I would imagine that a visitor would have to be very fussy to find fault with this accommodation. I would certainly book tis accommodation again.

Location. 5 minutes from railway and bus station. 5 minutes from all the major tourist sites, 15 minutes walk to hospital. Close to tourist information and LOTS OF SHOPS! Hotel. Separate from the bar. Very quiet. Room is clean and tidy, en suite the same. Hanging rail and storage. Kettle and TV. Lovely and warm. New proprietors so not serving meals but a great choice of breakfast places andvrestaurants within 200 metres. It is so very reasonably priced - I will return.

Super simple, absolutely worse it’s money. Great location right in the centre of Chambery, 8 minutes walk to the train station, close by the museum. Perfect stay for 1 night, or if you come to the hotel only to sleep. Nice little bar under.

The trash bin was not emptied from the last guest. The shower could be more cleaner as well. The windows look on the street, some people can not enjoy the sounds from the bar, but again for this affordable price I think it is not a big deal.

Cute room, friendly staff, instant coffee in the room + kettle, pet friendly, affordable price, perfect location next to train station. Overall really nice stay!

No complaints, the room is small but that was expected. Reading the other reviews we we're expecting something worse but this place is perfectly fine and doesn't deserve such a low rating.

My room was sound-proof to the dot (literally). I liked it. Premium location with the business epicentre just a stone’s throw away. Overall, it’s maximum value for your buck.

Nothing really; except I have been to places where they offer slippers for the shower room. I am not the biggest fan of showering whilst bare-footed.

Very convenient location, not far from train station and center city. Room was ideal for single traveler (single bed). Comfortable even during a heatwave. Cooled room downwithair conditioner and then turned it off for sleeping. Staff (receptionist/bartender) was helpful and pleasant.

For me this was a clean and comfortable room in a very good location, close to the train station and bus station, for city centre location it wasn't too noisy, if I was to come here in the future I would probably choose this place again.

When i arrived the reception wasn't open , it was a little awkward checking in, but this wasn't a big problem, as everything worked out fine.

City centre location, plenty of parking nearby. Comfortable bed.

Nothing really. There was nobody at the hotel when I arrived, but a quick phone call solved the problem in minutes.
