The photos don’t do this wonderful hotel justice. We had a lovely stay here, the building has been tastefully and sensitively renovated. The rooms are very big and well equipped bathrooms. Ricardo and his team in the restaurant and kitchen are fantastic. He is a wonderful host sharing background in food and recommendations for restaurants and things to do. They made our stay very special. Location is very convenient for exploring the centre of town and getting out on day trips.

No complaints.

Room was spacious, clean, plenty of light and with a simple but very nice modern style

The bed was hard, the hardest I have experienced in Mexico, and I left the hotel after three days with a considerable backache. The outside space needed an umbrella to make it usable as it was a sun trap. Also very noisy due to being right on the road so we only used it to dry clothes. The room itself was not too noisy though. We thought it was a shame that the hotel did not include breakfast as the courtyard was beautiful but nobody seemed to use it and it did not feel welcoming and comfortable.

Hotel room was large and very well appointed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Location is excellent, a very short walk to main city squares, bars, restaurants etc… Big bonus is that this hotel provides parking if you drive, a lot of the downtown hotels do not and finding parking is next to impossible. I feel like I knocked it out of the park selecting this hotel for my stay in Oaxaca!!

I don’t have any negative comments or suggestions for improvement.

Location was great. Nice atrium lobby. Very satisfied with our room and bath

Included breakfast was limited to an American plan. This was not indicated on reservation details. We would have preferred ordering anything on their breakfast menu as included with room. Most of the hotel staff did not speak English. Some difficulty communicating with staff

The hotel is perfect if you specifically book room 12 (double room) or a higher category, if you just book a low category room, you will get one without windows which can be very claustrophobic. The restaurant in the patio is a nice idea, but does need some maintenance and TLC, as everything looks a little outdated. Also it can be cold outside for breakfast. Nevertheless, it's a very traditional mexican vibe, and the bikes are amazing to take around the city. It's located very well, near to Zocalo square which has lot's of music, dancing and good restaurants.

I'm not so sure if the hotel is worth what you pay as you can find cozier hotels around for the same price.

Great location, super helpful staff, comfortable beds, air-conditioning, rain shower, good water pressure, quality linens and toiletries, adequate storage in the room. Free refills of bottled water. Restaurant and bar with pretty courtyard seating.

No elevator. The hotel has just one upper floor but the stairs are steep and may be a problem for some people.

Easy walking distance to the zocalo. Beautiful colonial property with a central courtyard. It’s pet friendly with a $400 charge for our dog. Friendly and helpful staff.

There is parking outside but it was full when we arrived so I parked nearby in a parking lot. In the evening there were children running around and screaming, so the noise travelled to our room easily.

Central location Comfortable rooms Very attentive staff Gabriel, the staff member at the restaurant went out of his way to make us feel welcome.

We were never informed by the hotel that there was a teachers strike and the entire block was filled with inhabitants in tents. The strike blocked roads and caused litter and debris and tainted the beautiful old town.

The property was beautiful and in a great location . It was walking distance to plazas , museums , restaurants and Mercado . I appreciated the parking since we had a rental . The staff were kind and friendly . Thank you to Juan Carlos behind the bar for his service , and knowledge on mezcal .

I think the only minor thing were the bed sheets they were too thin .

The staff was great and the location was very convenient.

We were surprised that there was so little English spoken by the staff, so it was difficult to communicate. We think you should make it clear that knowing some Spanish would be helpful. We were disappointed in the limited "free breakfast" options that were supposedly a part of our plan.
