Booked this place based on other reviews and couldn’t have been happier! Upon arrival (during the rain), the gentleman at the door ushered us inside under an umbrella while also carrying our luggage. We arrived way later than our expected arrival, but with calling in advance they had a 3 person staff waiting for us to check us in and take us to our room. For being an older historic building, the room we had was comfortable and much larger than expected. This building was centrally located as well. The zocalo was a 2 minute walk away, textile museum right across the street, and plenty of bars and restaurants within a few blocks. Couldn’t be more pleased with our stay, will definitely be staying here again for our next trip!

The hotel is small and very charming. It has an excellent location within walking distance form the downtown attractions. The rooms are clean, the service is great, and the food at the restaurant is excellent and well priced. We needed a crib for a baby, and an almost brand new one with sheets was provided. The housekeepers are fantastic and all the waiters and hotel personnel go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and happy.

The rooms do not have windows to the outside, so they are a bit dark. If you have a room in the main hallway, it may be a bit noisy.

Excellent central location…absolutely gorgeous architecture…beautifully appointed and lovely art. But hands down the staff was truly incredible! They went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful! I’m so disappointed that I don’t remember our main front desk persons name but he was so kind and greeted us so kindly and helped us with everything we could possibly need. Elio their main taxi driver and his staff are true gems! Every single person on the cleaning staff was so nice. We didn’t have a safe but never had to worry about that because they are honest and caring people…something you just don’t find in a lot of airbnbs….definitely stay here, you won’t regret it!

Everything was wonderful!

The hotel is centrally located and is very close to all the main sights and restaurants. The room was large and comfortable with windows looking out onto charming streets and good air conditioning. There was a bit of car noise, but pretty quiet at night (be aware that if you ask for a "quiet" room, they will give you an inside room with no windows. We made that mistake, but they were able to switch us with no problems). Three options for meals - inside courtyard, formal restaurant and cute cafe attached to the hotel. We went to the cafe pretty much every day for breakfast and occasionally for drinks - fast and tasty, but there are much more interesting restaurants for dinner nearby so didn't try the one at the hotel.

Location is close in Centro so very convenient. Secure parking. Very friendly and accommodating staff. On-site restaurant was very good with excellent service and reasonable prices. The entire hotel was very clean. Nice towels and toiletries. Concierge service helped arrange a tour with our groups chosen destinations, at a fair price and very good driver as well as a knowledgeable tour guide.

Although there were lock boxes in the office for valuables we are accustomed to having a safe in our room.

The location couldn't be better, as it's just a few steps from the main square. The breakfast and coffee shop were delightful. The staff treated us incredibly well. The pool is very warm and inviting. When we stayed, they were doing some construction around our original room and I was not feeling well one of the days and needed to rest - they were able to switch rooms to a quieter one due to the construction. Great service and staff.

The two rooms we had didn't have much natural light, and the breakfast + coffee wasn't included in the room price. But those were not major issues for us.

Location is great, very close to main square and walking distance to all sites while being quiet. Interesting art throughout lovely building. Good wifi. Coffee machine in room.

Courtyard arrangement of old grand house means that windows of several rooms might only open to a dark hallway rather than light courtyard or outside so have to use lights even in daytime which might bother some people but also very dark and quiet for sleeping. No safe in room but front desk will keep items in hotel safe. Pool is lovely but small, can only dip but not swim.

Location to the Zocalo was great. It was very convenient for other areas in need such as bank and market. The hotel was beautiful- really enjoyed the atmosphere

Unfortunately our room was not the cleanest. Not sure if it was swepted on daily basis. Under bed was dirty. Also the AC was not working appropriately. The room was constantly muggy making our stay in the room uncomfortable.

Excellent location, very clean, friendly people, lots of art on the walls. Felt cozy

There was a water lick on my shower and it took lot of time to try to fix it. At the end they couldn’t fixed and they shut down the water of my bedroom. We had to move to another bedroom at the middle of the night

The room was spacious and very comfortable. The pool area was a really nice place to relax. The hotel is adorned with beautiful artwork. All in all it was a lovely hotel. The location was excellent being only a few minutes walk from the Zocalo.

Nothing really. Maybe some coffee making facilities would have been good but otherwise we had no complaints and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
