Location is perfect. 1 block walk to the beach, shops/IGA and cafe's. The Terminus is a piece of history and has retained a lot of its old world charm. The lounges scattered throught the facility offered a quiet place to relax with friends. The pool/spa and kitchen area offer a great location for families. Overall Terminus offers little extras to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We have holidayed at point Lonsdale for 50 years and this was a bucket list experience we enjoyed.

We were glad we were nat staying Boxing Day as it was going to be 38 degrees and I did not notice any cooling/airconditioning. Not a big deal as we were comfortable the days we were there.

The thoughtfulness of everything supplied. The easiness of contactless check-in and checkout. The surprise of wine and cheese being available in the lounge as Saturday was a bleak day. The surprise of our room having a separate lounge area. Loved the amazing set up of the guest kitchen. On arrival into our room the ambience that greeted us was so nice. It was so homely and inviting.

The bed. The mattress felt like it needed to be desperately turned over. It had a hump in the middle and a big dip on the left side. Being placed under the window it was too easy to bump your head on the window sill.

The room was cool and airy with a great verandah, tables and chairs for morning coffee. The pool was lovely but I prefer to swim in the sea. The jacuzzi was warm and relaxing, lovely to sit there under the sky. Table tennis and tennis gear was provided. The common kitchen was fabulous, even a morning Age there every morning. I extended my stay because it was such a relaxing holiday, with so much provision for self-catering and a lot of extras provided. Your room isn't cleaned every day but you can get fresh towels, tea, coffee, milk yourself when you need them. The atmosphere is friendly and laid-back, just our style! The genuinely respectful and generous spirit of this place (and Richard the manager) is very rare. Please do not ruin it for others.

Some other residents were a bit inconsiderate and noisy - screaming on their mobile phones At the pool area some residents chose pool lounge chairs then went off for ages & left their stuff meaning that no one else could have the use of the chairs

My partner and I have stayed here twice before and we have enjoyed both times. We love that it’s walking distance to the beach, affordable, and it offers activities (e.g. table tennis, pool, and fire pit). The rooms are basic and clean. The venue is quiet, couple friendly, and family friendly. The continental breakfast was a great option too. The check in is no fuss and easy, with your room unlocked and key available as you walk in. Lots of parking available out the back. We will definitely be back for a third stay.

A charming historical place full of old world atmosphere and yet very well maintained and clean. Free access to extra towel, coffee and tea and complimentary continental breakfast during winter time are very thoughtful. Complimentary rocky road road is a very nice surprise. The guests kitchen provides every facility to prepare meals and is very well maintained. Very close to the Point Lonsdale Lighthouse and the beach that have amazing ocean view. We love our stay here.

Amazing old building. Our room was spotless and warm with everything we needed Fantastic location. Walking distance to shops, light house and beach. Fantastic outdoor kitchen and gardens. My new home away from home. But the most amazing part was they made my daughter feel special by adding complementary gluten and dairy free chocolate to our room for her. No other place we have stayed has done that.

Beautifully appointed and located so very close to boutique shops and cosy restaurants and cafes. A couples dream getaway with windswept views of the heads, Point Lonsdale and Point Nepean and the Bass Strait only a short drive/walk away. Quite Romantic!

Nothing, it was as I expected. Old World Charm! Perhaps a little screen to separate verandah outside for privacy would be my only recommendation. Was not needed as it was quite cold when we visited, but on a warmer day it would be a nice addition.

I would like to see more sustainable, environmentally friendly practices ie recycling and compost bins in the room to enable proper sorting of rubbish. Use of large re-fillable shampoo, body wash, hair conditioner made in Australia instead of individually wrapped small packages made in China Pool didn't look very clean

Charming, full of character and history, comfortable bed and clean facilities. Richard was extremely obliging and helpful. The location was perfect, with views and coffee just short walks away. Loved the front verandah access for breakfast. The restaurant looked very nice, although we didn’t eat there due to a family gathering in Geelong. We also looked through the shared kitchen and activities area out the back, and would recommend this as a family holiday spot.
