We were a group of four. Stayed in 2 deluxe rooms. The reception was warm and friendly. The shower is spacious. Air-conditioning was great given the heat wave. The kitchenette facilities were rather limited. The rooms were tidy. TV entertainment and wi fi were all ok. Towels were adequate.

There is room for improvement on the housekeeping. In one fridge there was a leftover pasta container. In both rooms, the mini fridges were not defrosted for quite sometime and the freezer frost build-up was bulky. In one room, there was a used towel on the bathroom door hanger.

The room was Clean and tidy.it was quiet place and relaxing as well.staff was very friendly and nice to talk to and very handy to shops and other outlets.I would recommend the hotel to everyone who would like to stay at Sorrento beach hotel.

Nothing I found it to be in an excellent area and the facility was great and would not hesitate to recommend the hotel to anyone because the stay was excellent and will be back in a couple of weeks to enjoy myself.

Convenient location. Easy walk to shopping precinct. Short drive to where I needed to be for work. Nice thought of 2 complimentary beers in fridge (tho' didn't drink). At the time of booking, the most economical stay in Sorrento I found. Staff were friendly. As a motel, it was as I expected. Simple needs met as in a clean comfortable bed, kitchenette facilities and suitable bathroom.

Rooms were a bit echoey. Could hear people chatting and laughing late at night at times and I'm sure they would've been thinking they were talking at a normal level. The accommodation was clean but was unsure whether the floors had been mopped properly. There was a floor stain in bathroom and unsure whether fresh or permanent.

The motel is in a quiet position and our room was clean. We didn’t have much to do with staff, but they were good when we checked in and the girl I spoke to was very friendly and accommodating with tea etc.

The fact you have to ask for clean towels etc, plus tea, coffee etc. We weren’t able to get a hot breakfast, but realise the boss was on holidays.

The motel room was very clean and quite large. Also outside was nice and tidy with lovely green grass in the front of each room. Parking was for free and right outside the room which is perfect. We also liked the location as it was close walking distance to shops, cafes and restaurants in Sorrento. Staff was friendly and helpful. We ordered breakfast of scrambled eggs on bread in room on our last day and it was delicious, cafe style quality.

The matress was a bit soft and felt worn out. Room interior quite boring with grey sofa and cushions. It would be nice to add some colour to make it more cheerful. Also wardrobe had only 1 hanger which was quite disappointing as we had few smart shirts and dresses so had to lay them out on sofa.

Older little property, good for the nights stay, seeing as we’ve been doing a road trip I’d say based on the other accommodation in it price range around Victoria it’s an average room.

Never spoke with a single person, when checking in our key was outside the reception door in an envelope. The paperwork inside naming a different person with his personal details (address number and email) but the office was closed so unable to rectify this with the office. When checking out the office was open but unattended.

Good place to stay during vacation. Rooms are clean and tidy. Microwave, Kettle, and Cutlery are provided. Bathroom is clean, Soap, Shampoo and toileteries are provided. Clean, Tidy, and Quiet place to stay and relax body and mind. Good place to stay with family. Staff are friendly. Parking space is provided.

All is great, just need to care more about the shower clogs.

I got what I needed: clean and comfortable beds with decent pillows, sufficient and well-located plug points, a good hot shower and my car parked just outside my room ; ) I was pleased to find extras such as cutlery, bowls and plates. After a previous $1,000.00 per night Sorrento holiday in November with dirty beds and dusty floors where we had to bring our own bedding or be charged $39 per head, i had lost my taste for vacations. Thank you to Sorrento Beach Motel for restoring my faith and giving me a good night's rest. option for heated lamp in bathroom will be a nice touch for the cold months.

Keep your footwear on, floor is a little sticky... but its a small matter

Nicely appointed in a cutely designed complex. comfy couch but would help if tv swivelled.

the hedge that separates rooms from cars only leaves a narrow space to walk through, not big enough if have a bag in each hand, plus muddy under foot, needs a paver there. Needs to check drainage in basin in bathroom (no one around to mention this too at checkout)

Staff friendly and helpful. So comfortable and had everything you would need. Very peaceful environment. We had the best night’s sleep. (I was flooded out in Rochester 14 months ago and still waiting for renovations to be completed. It was such a boost to experience the night in the motel.). All guest (3)agreed you could not want for more than this motel)

We loved everything from the time we arrived until our departure.
