The room was very clean & comfortable. It had everything your needed for a weekend stay. The location was great to be able to arrive & not need your car all weekend. To have a BBQ & pool was a bonus. Denise on Reception was so friendly & accommodating - I will definitely bring the family here.

Staff and owner were fabulous right from our booking. Service was excellent. Rooms were spacious and clean. Kitchens were well stocked. Parking was onsite. Pool was beautiful. Pool area provided shade, tables and a bbq. Pub and stores were a short walk, as was the beach. Highly recommend!

Excellent customer service with friendly staff. The motel was in a great location, not far from shops and in a quiet area.The room was presented neatly with extras including toiletries, which was a lovely touch.

The welcome was very pleasant even offering to drive me to St Leonards for my function. Nothing was too much trouble. Nice to have a biscuit for a nice Comped tea as well and plenty of linen! The electric blanket was welcome!!

The room was clean, staff had already turned on heater before I got there. The bed was so comfy and warm, I had no trouble going to sleep. The WiFi speed was excellent. Parking was at the door which was great. The shower was unbelievable.

Was too cold to use the pool, unfortunately the pool was not heated

A basic motel but all facilities well presented - queen bed, kitchenette, dining table, chair and table; would be fine for a holiday stay or overnight.

Not on the beach but one block away from the shore.

Location is perfect. Staff were amazing.

Can’t fault anything. Parking is a bit of a tight squeeze but it’s definitely not a deal breaker. We go here often with our toddler.

Friendly staff, super clean facilities and okay location. Overall pleasant stay.

Needs maintenance. Room 7 may have a leak in the bathroom as the carpet was very wet at the entry. Light switch and bulbs in main area need attention. We left too early to be able to advise staff of these issues.

Highly recommend Portarlington Beach Motel for value for money. Though it is an older place, it seemed freshened up. Bright doona covers made a good first impression. Room was well-arranged with an L-shape for queen bed and a single, and a garden table with 2 chairs outside. All the basics were provided in the kitchen - cutlery, plates, crockery, microwave, bar fridge - as well as coffee sachets, tea bags (only black no green), sugar and small milk packets. In the bathroom, shampoo, conditioner, tissues and hairdryer. All that you would normally expect. Bed was comfortable. The pool is solar heated with plenty of tables and chairs around it. Unfortunately the motel couldn't provide us with hot weather! Regardless, we had a dip in the pool which was lovely, just not as long as it would have been on a hot afternoon. Wi-fi worked well. Maps and local info provided. Bill and Helen are friendly and helpful. ps Good atmosphere and food at Saints and Sailors, best to book your table.

The parking spaces are a tight fit, okay with compact car, and people with SUVs managed too.
