The accommodation was excellent! The room was very spacious and was very tasteful. The bunk beds were bespoke to fit the space perfectly and meant that my teenage children were very comfortable and had plenty of room. This is the best family room that we have ever stayed in and I would highly recommend. We did not have a river view, but the room was very quiet. Breakfast was perfect, with plenty of choice to suit to whole family.

Nothing, this was a perfect place to stay. The accommodation was excellent and had a perfect central location to access all the amenities.

Location is great, in the centre of Llangollen, perfect for all amenities and places to eat. The hotel is above a cafe, where breakfast is taken. The owners also run a business in outdoor sports. The whole atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. Breakfast is beautifully cooked and with some more unusual choices than the average B & B. The room are clean and nicely, simply furnished - lots of wood! Fresh ground coffee on the tea tray every day was a much appreciated touch.

The family room was perfect for us (ages 3&5), the breakfast was delicious (especially the savory waffles and coffee), there were plenty of great places to eat out (we ate at The Corn Mill and Three Eagles) and the river was spectacular, especially from The Corn Mill deck. Everyone was incredibly welcoming and there was a lovely atmosphere in the cafe every morning. We could have stayed all day! We used it as our base to head into Zipworld (c.45mins) and will definitely be back for more adventures!

The room (number 4) was so light and airy, fantastic view of the river which could make the room cold but it was lovely and warm. The towels were fluffy and fresh and full bath sheets. Bathroom was gorgeous, really modern. Shower was lovely and hot as were the radiators. We arrived too late to eat in the cafe but will be arriving earlier next time. Staff went above and beyond when I asked for a little help accessing the building. Bed was comfortable and spacious, I really liked the extra blanket provided incase we were cold (didn't use it in the end but I love the personal extras like that). Breakfast was top notch, hot and fresh. The sausages were huge and really tasty. Best night away we could have asked for. Thankyou.

Great location. Room was clean and well furnished and have a great view of the river.

I was expecting the room to be little less functional. We were having a weekend away from the children so the bunkbed over the double was a bit too family focused. It was also quite dark in the room. However, if I had been expecting the room to be like that I would have been very happy with it and the excellent cafe and location made up for any initial disappointment.

Great location for Llangollen - right in the center. Lovely cafe in the building with good breakfast, lots of choice. Room was relatively big, with a sofa, and comfortable bed. Nice speciality shortbreads on the tea tray in the room. Even though they do contactless key code check in, staff were on site and very welcoming when we arrived, remembering message conversations we'd had pre-arrival.

The breakfast was delicious, and the view from the cafe outstanding. My room was bright and comfortable. Staff was really nice and ready to help at any time.

The only issue I had with the Riverbanc is the sound of the doors slamming. All the bedroom doors slam shut, so the slamming of doors was pretty constant at certain times — early morning and in the evening.

the location was excellent… the rooms were nice and spacious and the food at the cafe was good though it closes early. most importantly the water sports activities offered at the hotel was excellent and the staff handling these activities were very helpful. nice views from the hotel

Unfortunately, a pervasive smell of damp from the shower room. However, the staff said they would investigate this immediately when I told them about it in the morning. Also, cleaning was missed in the corners of the bathroom and shower and toilet brush looked particularly grubby. The bedroom however was beautifully clean and the tea and coffee in the room was very welcome.
