Breakfast was lovely, staff were great. I was travelling solo & had spent a lot of time in a hostel & wanted to check into a hotel when I got to Oaxaca to catch up on sleep & have some solo time, & this place was perfect. The weather was gorgeous when I got there, & the pool was so lovely to chill by when the city got to hot. I actually checked in again at the end of the week before I moved to Puerto Escondido, felt like a very comfortable place for a solo traveller to be, the location is perfect!

Filtered water for guests to drink at anytime, as you receive this in most hostels. Not a big deal though!

Lovely hotel in the historic center! We loved that the entrance was on a pedestrian only street…the gorgeous “Canterra” stones in the open interior courtyard, the tall ceilings and doors in our room, the toiletries, and the truly hospitable staff! Every single person that worked there was so kind and excellent at their jobs! I feel compelled to give additional praise to a particular staff member, named Geraldo. He works as the night front desk person, as well as a breakfast waiter. His bright smile, kindness, excellent hospitality, and perfect service, was the cherry on top of our stay. If anyone in upper management is reading this, know that you have a top notch employee, you are very lucky! He is bilingual, which I’m sure is an excellent asset to have as well! I live on an island that has a tourism economy and have worked in hospitality since the age of 12 and have been an innkeeper at my own BnB for the last 20 years, I know good hospitality and a hard worker when I see it and he is truly professional and hospitable! Thanks again and we will definitely stay again in our next trip to Oaxaca!

This experience exceeded expectations in every way. The facilities were aesthetically beautiful and immaculate, the food was outstanding, the whole place was in a phenomenal location with everything we wanted to do in walking distance- the hotel felt like it was in the heart of the party but somehow was protected and quiet from the hustle and bustle of the streets. The roof top terrace was one of my favorite parts- you could feel connected to the beautiful surroundings of Oaxaca on the terrace while taking in the flowers, warm and satisfying roof top pool, and delicious drinks. My partner and I enjoyed capturing some peace here and it was an essential part of our trip to Oaxaca. Finally, all of the staff were top notch in hospitality and helpfulness. Everyone was extremely professional and went above and beyond. Thank you!

Great location, lovely staff, beautiful sunset from the roof top patio, clean, comfortable and quiet. This hotel is a short walk from the Benito Juarez Market, lots of shops and restaurants and the main historic centre. We drove to Mount Albán and the Tree of Tule in less than half an hour.

Too much plastic waste. It would be great to see this hotel move towards a minimal waste model e.g. refillable shower products, water dispenser rather than small bottles, no single serving condiments at breakfast etc.

The hotel was very responsive to our needs. They put a birthday card and cake in our room for my husband's birthday. The air con was fantastic! The room was on the second floor facing the busy Calle de Alcala, but it was quiet each night. The breakfast options were great!

The pool area is smaller than I thought it would be. We didn't use the pool as a result.

We loved being right in the middle of the action! Parades, shops and restaurants right outside the hotel. Enjoyed the rooftop pool and bar; the bartender made the most delicious margaritas! Breakfast was convenient and tasty.

A bit noisy having a room that opens out to the plaza since breakfast starts at 7:00. Pricey for Oaxaca.

A delightful surprise, the hotel is almost a boutique hotel as it only has 20 rooms. Lovely staff and good breakfast, the design of the hotel is really attractive, and the position is perfect. We had a room facing what is a very lively street and the double glazed balcony doors were great, we didnt hear any noise and slept well. A pool on the roof.

Our aircon was a bit dodgy! It may have been faulty but it wasnt as 'controllable' as we would have liked.

Bed was incredibly comfortable and loved having the balcony to view the outside. Blackout curtains were great to keep out the early morning sun. Staff were amazing and the food was excellent. Having the suite allowed for a very spacious room. It was nice having the pool to cool down but could be a bit busy some days. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location in the center of town, however we preferred our other stay just north of the center away from the all of the street vendors and crowds. The hotel was clean and nice, bed was comfortable and shower was great. Staff was accommodating. The pool on the rooftop was very nice although we did not have time to enjoy it. Beautiful interior, although without the charm of a smaller, independently run bed and breakfast.

Breakfast was not very good, much better options to have at markets or restaurants. We tried the memelitas which did not taste fresh or authentic, and waffles tasted artificial. It would have greatly improved our stay to have a delicious breakfast.

Would have received a 9/10 but we were initially given a room on the ground floor which opened up straight into the communal area. The external windows looked out onto the street and the room lacked privacy. You can hear breakfast being prepared and people just outside your door. Fortunately got moved after 2 nights to a 1st floor (2nd floor) room which was delightful.
