The hotel is very convenient for solo travelers like me, I thought the location was great, I walked a lot to some of the places I wanted to visit, restaurants, convenience stores, pharmacies, atms, are just in the same area. I don’t like the busy, loud, party surroundings, so this location was perfect to avoid that. I managed to have an early check in, as my room was ready 1 hour before and I was so grateful as my journey started from Qatar and I had a long day before reaching Chiang Mai. Maybe something to highlight, there are 2 hotels name Rendezvous from the same owner, but the location is completely different..so it might be confusing when booking grab transport.

Didn’t have the opportunity to enjoy the breakfast everybody was talking about, as my schedule was starting early every day :(

Mountain view room on 4th floor, I really liked the room and the balcony and view. Shower water pressure and temperature were great. Good amenities in the bathroom. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Good supply of free water bottles. Breakfast was very tasty. Good location for exploring the old city. Good food options in easy walking distance. I didn't try the pool but it looked small but nice and they have separate towels for it. Definitely not a chain hotel - and all the better for being so, it felt like I was in real Thailand - in a good way.

There's nothing I didn't like. A couple of points to be aware of: It's down a narrow street with no pavements, but that is typical of Chiang Mai and nothing really to worry about. You are asked to choose your breakfast option on the evening before, but this wasn't too much of a hardship, saves on food waste - and the breakfasts were excellent.

The hotel is excellent, and even more than I expected. The location is perfect, easy to find and to explore the town. The hotel is clean and the pool is great. The breakfast I didn’t take, but it seemed to be good. If I come back anytime to Chiang Mai, I’ll stay at Rendezvous.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My second time in Chiang Mai and Rendezvous Classic House was simply excellent! It's conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood, within easy walking distance from several local temples. A community park, shops, and dozens of charming coffee shops and restaurants are just steps away. The room was spacious and impeccably clean, with a comfortable king-size bed. The balcony offered stunning views of the mountains, perfect for enjoying a morning coffee. You can choose of having breakfast at the hotel or at one of the many nearby coffee shops. The pool was a refreshing escape after a day of exploring. It was sparkling clean and a welcome respite. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going the extra mile to ensure a pleasant stay. The daily room cleaning was thorough, and the complimentary water, coffee, hot chocolate, and even noodles were a very handy touch. Rendezvous Classic House exceeded our expectations. The combination of its convenient location, comfortable rooms, excellent service, and great value for money makes it a must-stay for anyone visiting Chiang Mai. We'll definitely be back!

The location was excellent—just a six-minute walk from Nong Buak Park, where we could enjoy free yoga classes in the mornings. The Old City was easily accessible, with most destinations within a 30-minute walk. We were also very close to the South Gate Market and the Saturday Night Market, offering a wide variety of delicious food at a very low cost. The hotel itself is just a minute’s walk inside the roads surrounding the Old City, making it peaceful and free from the traffic noise. Highly recommend if you are looking for a calm and relaxing place to stay in the Old City.

The overall facilities could use some maintenance. I really loved the wooden interior decor, but it was clear that the building was showing signs of aging.

Breakfast was amazing! The staff was super welcoming and friendly. The reception area was spectacular and exceeded my expectations as well as the pool. The hotel is small and comfy. I traveled as a solo woman and felt perfectly safe! I would 10/10 stay here again! Also, it was a very good price!

The bedroom door made noise at night and it would wake me up. I never brought it to the attention of the front desk but I´m sure if I did they would have solved it. Also, it is located in a bit of an alley way. No actual major problems.

We stayed here for 2 nights and had a wonderful time. The room was lovely—neat, clean, and offering a beautiful view of the mountains. The air conditioning worked perfectly and the bathroom was in good condition. The location is excellent, close to the center of Chiang Mai, with nice restaurants and the night market nearby. We really enjoyed our stay. The staff at the reception were very kind and considerate, and all the employees were extremely polite.

We loved this place so much that we stayed longer than expected. The room was a great size. The much needed air con was good and not noisy. The bathroom was a good size and the pool was a nice relief from the heat. It’s located in a nice area within walking distance to some lovely restaurants. Try “see you soon.” The staff were kind. But, the breakfast is what tops this place. Make sure you add this to your stay. You won’t be disappointed. Close to Saturday night Market too.

As nice as the staff are; they just don’t smile much or converse. We stayed longer and thanked them for their hospitality but, it was received blankly (like with a blank expression). They do get a turnover of guests quite quickly, so maybe this was it!

Lovely resort. Comfortable rooms. The staff are great and go out of their way to help you. Breakfast is fantastic and there are several places you can sit and have breakfast, both inside and out. A couple of nice places to eat nearby or you can take a tuk tuk/Grab and venture a little further for more choice and the Night Markets. Lovely pool area. Tea/coffee and water available through the day at Reception.

We enjoyed everything. There isn't much sun at the pool area, its very sheltered.

The staff were so kind to me, they even allowed me to switch rooms to the highest floor Once they had one available up there! This was also walking distance to everything in the old city that I wanted to go to!

Very narrow spaces to get around the pool… Once a couple kids were there my pool day was over! Also, the ladder made really creaky loud noises. I did skip the breakfast each morning because it seemed a little pricey at ฿150. When there was a market just a five minute walk away with all kinds of cheap street food.
