Excellent reception. Very comfortable and charming older style hotel.

Only slight grumble was dinner service did not start to 8:30pm and breakfast started at 8:30am. Unfortunately we needed to leave by 8:30am. On the plus side the hotel provided a packed breakfast - which included fruit, yogurt, chilled coffee and 'long-life' bread-roll & croissant. It would have made it an excellent substitute for the regular breakfast had it had something to put on the dry roll.

A lovely hidden gem in a peaceful village, not far from the motorway. Rooms and bathrooms are big and well equipped and nicely decorated. The beds are comfortable and the place is very quiet. Friendly staff and the accommodation has a bar and a restaurant where they serve good meals at very decent prices. The village is lovely to stroll around or to have a drink at the bar in the old school. Good breakfast.

The airconditioning did not seem to work properly in our room, but the walls of the posada are thick so it was still cool enough inside.

Fairly easy to find, it is signposted. Parking on the street, not a problem. Reception was very good and helpful. Room as okay for the price, but could do with a little renovation, there are better rooms. Breakfast was good, although it could be slow if everybody turned up at the same time. Nice bar for a pre-dinner drink. Overall the staff/owners were extremly helpful and made the stay very enjoyable. Evening meal was very good and the price is very reasonable. Would stay again.

Lovely hotel, couple of kilometres from the motorway. Based in a small hamlet. Dog friendly, clean and comfortable... walks for the dogs...

Unfortunately we ended up being locked out Having a late arrival then took the dogs out for a walk. Called into a lovely local dog friendly bar, had a drink and something to eat. Only to return to the hotel locked up ... Nobody mentioned that they lock the doors at 11pm....... thankfully a neighbour called the owner at 11.30 to let us in

It was, a lovely Spanish hotel. With lots of character. Lovely woodwork and a very nice place to stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Are great place to stay if you're heading South.

It would have been nice to know the cost of the evening meal. The waiter would not tell us the cost of anything. But when we came to pay in the morning we were pleasantly surprised that the cost for two starters, two main courses, a bottle of red wine, a coffee and an extremely large cognac including taxes was just €51.00.

We had an excellent experience in Villa Ferrara, a very cozy and relaxing historic place. The welcome was extremely friendly and the young man who welcomed us was very sympathetic. The rooms and bathrooms are big and comfortable and the place is very quiet. The Posada has also a bar/restaurant. The food was basic but good and not expensive. Worth its money and we would definitely come back when in the area.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

2.5 hour drive to board ferry in Bilbao this is an Ideal night stop as long as you are not expecting anything grand , situated in a very quiet small farming community . The breakfasts and evening menu offer delicious and excellent value food . The rooms are clean and comfortable and the host is welcoming .

Don’t expect dinner before 8:30pm . If you arrival early eve and you’re tired bring a snack with you .

Easy to locate once we decided the easiest way into the village was directly off the motorway. We parked the motorbikes opposite the hotel on a paved area-don't know if there was dedicated hotel parking. Staff were very pleasant. Dinner and breakfast were adequate, perhaps the choice was scaled back seeing as we were the only guests up to the arrival of a late walk-in,but they found no problem in providing me with a vegetarian meal. All in all very good value for money.

Our room was clean and very comfortable, huge bed, good bathroom although we didn’t have time for a shower as we left very early. Very good dinner and continental breakfast, excellent cup of coffee. Helpful staff, very pleasant. Great location off main road and perfect for catching the ferry from Bilbao at 1pm.

Slightly earlier time for breakfast may have helped us

We have been staying at this hotel for the past 10 years or so, whilst travelling south to our Holiday Home on the Costa del Sol, but unfortunately as we are selling our property it was our last visit to this delightful Hotel & very friendly Host.
