Together with my husband we booked this place as a sleepover for our road trip to Italy. We did not have any expectations, apart from having a place to sleep. But what a treasure this place is! Firstly, big thanks to the owners that they arranged a dinner for us even though we arrived quite late. We really enjoyed the breakfast as well - the food is delicious at Vegov Hram! The friendliness of its owners and people that work there is also something to be grateful for. The room is spacious and very, very clean. The location is so beautiful - a quite and peaceful village next to Ljublana. Definitely recommending to stay here!

It was easy to find the hotel and the parking spot. The reception is friendly and very attentive. The staff went the extra mile to ensure we had a pleasant stay. Our room was impressively clean, well furnished and spotless. The beds were well dressed and the linen of a good quality. Towels were very soft and smelling very good. We had a late breakfast and the staff made sure we had everything we needed. The cheese omelet is very tasty and the selection of foods is good.

The location is a bit far from Ljubljana center but for me it was perfect, since my business partner lives 3 minutes walk away from the location so we had a perfect meet up location every morning. Breakfast was great with plenty of food and options. The service/employees were great, very welcoming & friendly and always there to help me with a smile! The room I stayed in looked newly renovated and I was very satisfied with the overall cleanliness and quality of the room for the price that I paid, it exceeded my expectations.

This was our first stay in Slovenia, as we did a short stop in Ljubjana. So nice and quiet! We were on a car trip so it was very ok for us to book a place near the city. Private parking - yes. The room looks much better in reality, it's very very clean, comfy and warm. The breakfast was very good, fresh and tasty. And we had the please to meet the owner who is actually taking care of the place, a very kind and helpful man, whom we talked a lot about the amazing places we were planning to visit, he gave us hints about many hidden gems and helpful advice. We had a very very nice stay here and 100% recommend!

There are no words to describe the great hospitality skills of the family run hotel. The rooms are very decent, but the service and the people are exceptional. They have waited with the kitchen for my arrival. Breakfast I would rather call it a fast. Everything freshly made and it was waiting for me upon my arrival in the morning. It is a definite "YES" from me.

The breakfast table was groaning with quality and choice. Room and en-suite large. The owner had worked in a 5 star hotel and one could see this in the attention to detail at every turn and was clearly extremely devoted to the job as were the staff.

Nothing .......yes nothing could have been improved. The first time I have written that in 50 years of travelling.

The village where the hotel is located, is quiet and peaceful. The room was comfortable with A/C, big lcd TV and a small fridge and most importantly extremely clean. Breakfast had great variety and very good quality. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There's also a pub at ground floor, separately operated but still very convenient with very good prices. Overall a great experience, will definitely stay again.

I spent a night at Hotel Vegov Hram with my family on our journey to Italy. We found the room very comfortable, spacious and clean, the staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was great with a wide selection of high quality food and drinks. There is an on-site restaurant that offers a good variety of hearty dishes. I would definietly come back again and would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Absolutely fabulous family run hotel, 10 minutes drive from Ljubljana city centre. Very friendly and helpful and the staff spoke good English (we know no Slovenian so just as well !). Everything was spotlessly clean and our room was large with good bathroom and excellent waterfall shower. We stayed 2 nights and had dinner on the first night which was delicious and very reasonably priced. Breakfast was plentiful with eggs, local sausage, cold meats, cheeses, bread, pastries, fruits, cereals, yoghurts and juice along with tea and coffee. Highly recommended staying here if you are driving and want to visit Ljubljana city which is beautiful, especially along the river.
