Very friendly team on reception who handled a very busy check in process very well. There were several groups checking in when we arrived ! Location about 10/15 minutes walk from station was good and then a short walk in to old town made it a really good spot.

Not a major issue, but as we had to change plans to get a early train (5.50) we asked if we could get any food as breakfast did not start until 7. The staff said they would mention it . However when we left there was no food to be picked up on reception. Not a major issue but if it was not possible it should be made clear.

The location was amazing, really good for the railway station and also the old town and the river. The staff were lovely and let me check in early when I arrived after a very early start and long journey. The restaurant area was lovely. The room was very comfortable and the shower was great. I would recommend it to anyone and if I am in Ljubljana again I will certainly be in touch to book.

It was great, I can't really fault it. My room was very hot on arrival which was soon sorted and there was a little wait for scrambled eggs with the breakfast but that would be incredibly petty of me. It wouldn't put me off staying again..

As a lone female traveller, I found the location excellent. It was a safe area close to town with all it's attractions and restaurants, and lots of tour operators pick up from the bus stop just outside. There is also a supermarket a few minutes away which is handy! It also had a surprisingly nice skyline view. Staff were also very helpful in arranging airport transfers for me, and also with my very late check in. Given the price of staying there compared to others in Ljubljana, it was really good value! A nice bright, spacious room too!

This is a very small gripe, but the English breakfast tea was terrible! Breakfast other than that was excellent, and I know I'm just being picky! It's hard to find a bad point - especially for the price paid!

Location, felt safe and easy to get to Old Town I previously read a lot of negative reviews about the breakfast, so my expectations weren’t too high. I liked the coffee and chocolate drink and food was ok. Fruit was limited.

Towels were very thin. No jug in room. Despite mentioning when I booked that I was staying a second night with a tour group, and requesting I have the same room for both nights, I had to change rooms. The receptionist was unhelpful…just expected I would check out and check back in 4 hrs later. Luckily a different receptionist helped me the next day so I could move straight into the second room. I’d suggest employing more staff at reception in the evenings when most people seem to arrive for check-in.

Was very pleased with everything. I contacted the hotel about our early arrival and our room was ready almost 2 hours before check-in. Same thing with checking out which is until 11, however our bus only left later in the afternoon so they were kind enough to let us leave our bags in the luggage room without any extra fees. All of the staff were very helpful, spoke very good English so the communication was easy and smooth. They answered all of our questions and they were all very kind. The hotel is located right next to the centre, so everything is approachable by a 10 minute walk. It is also easy to just hop back to the hotel if you forgot something, or need something. The railway station and the bus station is also a less then 10 minute walk. They provide a unique experience as they are part of the bee pathways, the bees could be visited on the roof of the hotel, this was the first time we experienced something like this and we were amazed by the idea. Overall the time we spent there was very pleasant, would definitely recommend as they are also animal friendly so if anyone wants to travel with their pets, it is possible. Great service for the price, if you're looking for a regular hotel and wanting to stay close to everything but not directly next to the tourist filled streets this is definitely a place to consider.

Wonderful hotel in the very city center! I love that it is environmentally friendly plus it is practically located in a park, so it is very quiet and peaceful. It took us only about five minutes on foot to get to Prešernov trg, which is the main square in Ljubljana. The central bus and train stations are also very close - perhaps seven to ten minutes on foot. The room itself was spacious and clean. In addition, all receptionists were so kind and happy to help with all our questions. We didn't opt to have breakfast, but the restaurant seemed nice and had a lovely garden.

The bed and room was really comfortable, I slept so well. I really liked the renovated building with the rooftop terrace. And I really value all the sustainability efforts. The location is very calm and it is just about 10 minutes to the main square. All in all it is a great hotel, I really enjoyed my stay!

I love the idea to only clean the room on demand to be more sustainable. However, my room was cleaned and my towels exchanged even though I did not put the sign on my door to ask for cleaning.

The staff were pleasant and helpful. The view from the room was beautiful, and the location was great - many interesting things like Trubarjeva and other city center goings-on were close by. The rooms are clean and well-equipped for an overnight stay. I also appreciate the information regarding local areas in the hallways and the commitment to eco-consciousness.

I really don't have much negative to say, to be honest. Everything was either standard or above standard according to my experience. It would have been nice to have more versatile vegetarian options for the breakfast, though.

This is a proper hotel not just a b&b. Great location between the train/bus station and the city centre. Safe area. Staffed reception. Friendly efficient check in. Fast lifts. Well lit corridors. Large, smart, clean, quiet, modern room. Well equipped: desk & chair for working at, luggage stand, excellent lighting, plenty of power points, great wifi, even a rocking chair! Really good selection for breakfast included in price.

I couldn't turn down the heating and had to open the window. Shower needs a more flexible hose and a somewhere to put your own shampoo etc. Breakfast juice poor quality.
